Abstract

Abstrak This research aims to increase students' learning activeness through the Quizizz learning media in social studies subjects for class V elementary school. This research is a classroom action research with the subjects being class V students at Miftahul Ulum Elementary School, Gunungtanjung sub-district, Tasikmalaya Regency, with a total of 17 students. The indicator of success in this research is the achievement of a percentage of students' active learning of 75%. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, each cycle having two meetings. The research stages carried out in cycle I and cycle II are (1) Planning stage (2) Implementation (3) observation stage (4) interview (5) Reflection. It is known that the average increase in cycle I was 52.94% in the Medium category and the student activity category in Cycle II experienced an increase of 82.35% in the High category. Keywords: Activeness, Media Quizizz, Social Sciences Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kekatifan belajar peserta didik melalui media pembelajaran Quizizz pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan Subyek peserta didik kelas V SD Miftahul Ulum kecamatan Gunungtanjung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 17 siswa. Indikator tercapainya keberhasilan dari penelitian ini adalah tercapainya presentase kekatifan belajar peserta didik sebesar 75%. Penelitian ini dilakasanakan 2 siklus yaitu Siklus I dan siklus II masing-masing siklus ada dua pertemuan. Tahapan penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada siklus I dan siklus II yaitu (1) Tahap perencanaan (2) Pelaksanaan (3) tahap observasi (4) wawancara (5) Refeleksi. Hal ini diketahui rata-rata kenaikan pada siklus I dengan nilai 52,94% dengan kategori Sedang dan kateogori kekatifan peserta didik pada Siklus II mengalami peningkatan 82,35% dengan kategori Tinggi. Abstract

Students' interest in learning Indonesian in the fifth grade of SDN 1 Nusawangi was relatively low, as seen from their lack of enthusiasm during lessons, such as not paying attention to the teacher, talking to peers, and reluctance to ask questions. This study aimed to increase students' learning interest by using the Quizizz learning media in the material on self-expression through hobbies. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 30 fifth-grade students of SDN 1 Nusawangi. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and learning evaluation tests. The results indicated that the use of Quizizz successfully enhanced students' learning interest, shown through improvements in four indicators: enjoyment, curiosity, attention, and engagement. The percentage of learning mastery increased from 60% in the pre-cycle to 76.6% in cycle I and reached 90% in cycle II. It is concluded that Quizizz is an effective, fun, and interactive learning tool that can significantly improve students' interest in learning Indonesian.
