Abstract

Temper tantrums are emotional outbursts of extreme anger and frustration, which lose control in young children that are manifested by behaviors that are unpleasant and inappropriate for the situation, such as crying, screaming and self-harm. One of the factors that influence it is the factor of parents. Working parents are suspected of having an influence on parenting, communication and child development. The lack of a mother's role in meeting the basic needs of children certainly has an unfavorable impact on the development of the child itself. If the mother's role is not successful, the child will experience growth disorders and the tendency of today's mothers to choose to return to work after having children is not just because they are happy. Given the magnitude of the problems faced by children in their growth and development, the role of a mother is to provide more optimal attention, guidance, and supervision to her children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the mother's work status and the behavior of temper tantrums in children. This research is quantitative with analytical design using Cross Sectional. Held on March – April 2019 in the work area of the Payung Sekaki Public Health Center in 2019 The results of the statistical test of the relationship between mother's work status and temper tantrum behavior in children in the work area of the Umbrella Sekaki Public Health Center in Pekanbaru in 2019 obtained p Value ? which is 0.0001 < 0.05, meaning that there is a relationship There is a significant relationship between mother's work status and child's temper tantrum behavior. Through this research, it is hoped that mothers will add insight, especially about temper tantrums so that mothers can know and can prevent temper tantrums in children.

Abstract

Young papaya fruit is a plant thought to have anti-fertility compounds. The active compounds in young papaya fruit are thought to be able to interfere with ovarian function so that it has an impact on the normal endometrial cycle. The endometrium is the innermost lining of the uterus which is the site of implantation and development of the embryo. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of young papaya extract on the infiltration of inflammatory cells of the endometrium of female rats (Rattus norvegicus). This study uses the Post Test Only Control Group method. Total samples were 24 rats (Rattus norvegicus), 2-3 months old and 200-300 grams in weight. Samples were taken randomly, divided into 4 groups. Group (K) without being given treatment. Group (P1) was given 200 mg / 200gr BW of young papaya extract. Group (P2) was given young papaya fruit extract 400 mg / 200gr BW. Group (P3) was given young papaya fruit extract 600 mg / 200gr BW. After 20 days of treatment, the endometrial inflammatory cell infiltration was calculated. The results showed that giving young papaya fruit extract (Carica papaya L.) reduced the infiltration of endometrial inflammatory cells. The results of statistical analysis using the one way ANOVA test showed the effect of giving papaya extract on endometrial inflammatory cell infiltration (p = <0.001). It can be concluded that there is an effect of giving young papaya (Carica papaya L.) fruit extract on the infiltration of inflammatory cells in the endometrium.

Abstract

The success of breastfeeding is influenced by the production of breast milk from the mother. Lack of milk production results in the failure of exclusive breastfeeding. Breast milk is the single most important food and has many benefits for babies 0-6 months. Katuk leaf is one of the plants that can help increase the production of breast milk. This study aims to determine the consumption of katuk leaves on the milk production of primiparous nursing mothers. This research method is quantitative with a correlational research design using a cross sectional study approach. The number of samples was 35 breastfeeding mothers. Sampling used a random sampling technique with consecutive random sampling. The results of the study obtained a p value of 0.001 and the analysis of the close relationship between the two variables obtained OR (odds ratio) = 15,000. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between consumption of katuk leaves and breast milk production in primiparous breastfeeding mothers in Pekanbaru city. So it is hoped that katuk leaves can be used as the main menu in determining the menu when the mother is in postpartum care.

Based on research, one of the efforts to help increase breast milk production is to consume sweet potato leaves (Ipomoea Batatas L. ) contains phytosterols. Phytosterols form laktogogum which can increase milk production. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of sweet potato leaves (Ipomoea Batatas L.) on breast milk production in post partum mothers. This type of research is Pre experimental with one group pretest posttest designs. The time of the research was carried out in January – April 2022. The location of the research was in Karya Indah Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The sample in this study were 20 respondents with total sampling technique. The research instrument used an observation sheet for breast milk production. Univariate and bivariate data analysis. Univariate results showed that the average milk production before being given sweet potato leaves was less with a percentage of 75% and after being given sweet potato leaves the average milk production increased to enough with a percentage of 90%. Bivariate results using the Wilcoxon Rank Test showed that the average milk production before being given sweet potato leaves was 4.13 mL and there was an increase in breast milk production after being given sweet potato leaves, the mean value was 35.9 mL. with a mean difference of 31.7. The results of the Wilcoxon Rank Test obtained a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of sweet potato leaves on breast milk production in post partum mothers in Karya Indah Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency.
