Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus kepada nilai kearifan lokal dalam tradisi manjau maju Pekon Kedaloman Kabupaten Tanggamus. Tradisi manjau maju merupakan salah satu tradisi dalam perkawinan masyarakat adat Lampung yang hingga kini masih dipegang teguh oleh masyarakat Pekon Kedaloman sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dari pelaksanaan kearifan lokal dalam tradisi manjau maju serta menjelaskan nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat dalam tradisi manjau maju masyarakat Lampung Saibatin Pekon Kedaloman Kabupaten Tanggamus, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dalam mengumpulkan data yang ada di lapangan penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, data yang dikumpulkan kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data oleh Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa dalam kearifan lokal tradisi manjau maju dalam perkawinan masyarakat Lampung Saibatin Pekon Kedaloman kabupaten tanggamus, tradisi manjau maju adalah rangkaian acara adat Lampung merupakan bagian dari tradisi pernikahan adat Lampung Saibatin, dimana tradisi manjau maju dapatĀ  diartikan sebagai kegiatan memperkenalkan pengantin baik pengantin wanita maupun pengantin laki-laki kepada masyarakat danĀ  lingkungan tempat tinggal dengan tujuan untuk berdaptasi dengan lingkungan sosial, sehingga mempermudah mereka dalam bersosialisasi, seperti halnya tradisi lain, tradisi manjau maju juga memiliki tahapan-tahapan didalam pelaksanaannya yang dimana didalam setiap rangkaian tahapannya terdapat nilai kearifan lokal yang masih dipegang teguh masyarakat Pekon Kedaloman.Kata Kunci : Kearifan Lokal, Tradisi dan Masyarakat Lampung

Abstract

This article explores the crucial role of legal education in societal transformation, with a specific focus on fostering legal awareness and promoting social justice. The introduction highlights the inherent interconnectedness of individuals in communal living and emphasizes law as a dual-aspect phenomenon governing legal subjects. The research aims to analyze the multifaceted functions of law, such as social control, engineering, symbolism, politics, and integration, to contribute to shaping a balanced and just society. The paper also delves into the objectives of legal education, intending to cultivate responsible citizens with a comprehensive understanding of legal awareness. Employing a qualitative approach through an extensive literature review, the methodology focuses on studying existing scholarly works. The article advocates for integrated efforts to realize legal transformation and societal harmony through robust legal education initiatives. In conclusion, it underscores the need for a collective commitment to fostering legal awareness for a more just and harmonious society.

Abstract

Higher education is a crucial foundation for shaping individuals who are both high-quality and positively contribute to society.This study reviews the transformation of peace education within the Merdeka Campus environment, an innovative approach in Indonesia's higher education system. The "Freedom to Learn" concept emphasizes students' autonomy in managing their learning processes according to their interests and potential. This approach not only strengthens academic aspects but also instills values of peace and cooperation among students within the campus environment. By fostering creativity and open dialogue, the Merdeka Campus creates an atmosphere conducive to shaping future leaders committed to peace. The study employs a literature review method, providing a foundation for the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar concept in the context of peace education. It outlines strategies for curriculum development that support a deeper understanding of conflict resolution and peaceful solutions. Additionally, the study highlights the role of lecturers as facilitators in guiding students towards a holistic understanding of the concept of peace. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Belajar approach to peace education within the Merdeka Campus environment positively impacts student development, both in terms of knowledge and attitudes
