Abstract

Technological developments have made it easy for the distribution of digital data (such as text, images, audio, and video) both with disk media and through internet media. On the other hand, this convenience can cause problems with copyright protection. One technique to overcome this problem is to insert a sign (watermark) as proof of ownership into digital data known as watermarking. Watermarks can be inserted into the spatial domain or the frequency domain. In general, watermarking in the frequency domain is more resistant to attacks than watermarking in the spatial domain. The watermarking method used in this study uses a transformation domain, namely Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). Tests used to provide a blurring effect). Where the technique using Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is generally inserted into singular values based on the consideration that the singular value will not experience significant changes if there is a slight disturbance in the image.

Abstract

The microprocessor that became the machine for the IBM PC / XT microcomputers and their compatible. This processor is often referred to as simply "8088" or "8086". Although the hardware of the 8088 is slightly different from the 8086, they can be viewed as the same from a programming perspective. The Intel 8088/8086 is a 16 bit processor, meaning that the data path and registers are 16 bits in size. The addressing mode is divided into several types, among others, register addressing, immediate addressing, direct addressing and indirect addressing. In addition, in learning Assembly language, we must memorize all registers and understand their use. Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) is a variety of information in the way of learning. Computers as a medium will help students find new things that are more interesting than conventional teacher-centered ways. Although it is known that the ways of learning and teaching, as well as the acquisition of learning information for each individual are different.

Abstract

Determination of outstanding lecturers is useful to improve the quality of knowledge for a lecturer, the selection of lecturers who are competent in the results obtained can improve the quality of learning. The lack of knowledge of a lecturer is caused by the lack of care from a lecturer in developing a career so that the lecturer does not have competence in his career. The absence of selection of lecturers who excel at the national or university level makes lecturers minimal in developing their knowledge. The selection of lecturers who have achievements is very useful to improve the ability of lecturers to develop knowledge in achievement. The existence of criteria in the selection of outstanding lecturers can be applied by utilizing the electre method in producing criteria in determining outstanding lecturers. Based on the selection of outstanding lecturers that have been done from the many lecturers who participated in only one lecturer who was entitled to receive an award as an outstanding lecturer.

Abstract

Index is a method used to test the process of retrieving data records in the process of searching for records that are commonly used in databases. Making an index simulation using the splay tree algorithm is done by entering the numbers that are used as indexes, the numbers entered by the user will be processed by the system to determine the index position in the simulation. A splay tree is a binary search tree adapting itself with additional properties that new elements are accessed quickly to access again. The application of tree theory is very useful in the study of data structures where tree theory will get an alternative data storage structure that is relatively better and more efficient. All normal operations in a binary search tree are combined with one basic operation, called splaying. Splaying the tree for a specific element composes the tree so that the elements are placed at the root of the tree. One way of doing this is to first perform a standard binary tree search for the element in question, and then use tree rotation specifically to bring the element up.

Abstract

The development of computer technology is increasing rapidly, this can be seen in the era of the 80s computer networks are still a puzzle that academics want to answer, and in 1988 computer networks began to be used in universities, companies, now entering the era of this millennium, especially the world wide internet, has become the daily reality of millions of people on this earth. In addition, network hardware and software have completely changed. At the beginning of its development, almost all networks were built from coaxial cable, now many of them are built from fiber optics or wireless communication. With the development of computer and communication technology, a single computer model that serves all the computational tasks of an organization has now been replaced by a set of computers that are separate but interconnected in carrying out their duties, a system like this is called a computer network. In learning computer networks the delivery of conventional learning material is felt to be less able to increase student learning interest. This paper will discuss the creation of computer-based learning applications where the delivery of material is carried out using the CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) method and the material presented is about the basics of computer networks, in the process presented in the form of materials, exercises and simulations. The purpose of the research to be achieved is to explain how to assemble a computer network using learning simulations to be understood by students. The conclusions obtained Application of the CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) method in the learning process can provide convenience in the learning process. Where the form of learning is more orderly and easy to access.
