Abstract

This research uses waste that is currently quite abundant with waste management that has not been optimised so that it can result in environmental pollution, therefore this research uses animal waste, namely goat manure with household waste, namely pineapple peel as organic fertiliser. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertiliser goat manure with pineapple peel waste, as well as to determine and assess the optimal dose for the growth of kailan plants. This type of research uses a group randomised design method with 5 treatments, namely KN0 (control), KN1 (15%) KN2 (30%), KN3 (45%), KN4 (60%). The parameters used are plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and wet weight (grams) of plants. The results of the observation of Fhitung treatment of plant height in a row of 65.91 (10 HST), 106.42 (20 HST), 205.75 (30 HST) > Ftable 0.05 (3.12), the results of Fhitung number of leaves in a row of 45.22 (10 HST), 22.48 (20 HST), 40.37 (30 HST) > Ftable 0.05 (3.12), and the results of Fhitung wet weight with a value of 119.90 > Ftable 0.05 (3.12). Based on data analysis, there is an effect of liquid organic fertiliser goat manure and pineapple peel on the growth of kailan plants (Brassica oleracea L. Alboglabra) with a significant concentration of 30%.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the increase capabilies knowledge of science with a experiment in 5-6 years old at Immanuel Kidergarten. The type of research used is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subject and object of this research were the group B of Immanuel Kidergarten, which consisted of 22 childern, consist 13 girls and 9 boys. The research consisted of 3 cycle which one every cycle had 3 meets. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, documentation. The data obained from this study were is form of simple experiment ability vlues for each child and were then analyzed with siple statistics to obtain an average value. The result showed that use of experiment science with mixed coloring could improve that abilities children in group B Immanuel Kidergarten. The increase capabilities of the first cycle showed increase had increase was gratifying result, this increaseus evident from the first cycle of 46% (Develop) this cycle due child has hesistant and afraid do experiment. The increase capabilities of the second cycle showed increase science had increase was gratifying result, this increases evident from the second cycle of 69,4% (Very Good) this cycle half of children been brave for experiment and half children can’t focus because they having play on they self, the increase capabilities of the last cycle showed increase science had increase very well, thus uncreases evident from the last cyle of 84% (very Well) the last cycle due teacher and research giving much example experiment so children love this studies. And have achieved the criteria set by the completeness score of the increase capabilities knowledge of science with a experiment in 5-6 years old at Immanuel Kidergarten Samarinda.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes using the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. For this study, Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles. The Kemmis and Taggart model includes four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 32 seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 5 Samarinda. Essay-type questions were used to collect research data. Quantitative analysis was the data analysis method used. According to data analysis, the proportion of students meeting the mathematics learning objectives in Cycle I was 59.37%. In Cycle II, the success rate increased to 93.75%. The CRT approach provided meaningful learning experiences for seventh-grade students, incorporating cultural components and improving learning outcomes. Including cultural components can attract students and enhance their mathematics learning outcomes. This indicates that after using the CRT technique, the seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Samarinda achieved their mathematics learning objectives with improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

The use of media in early childhood learning is one way to support children's cognitive development. At Al Muhajirin Islamic Kindergarten in Samarinda, media use is not yet varied, resulting in underdevelopment of children's cognitive abilities. This study used a population of 75 and a sample of 30 children. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instruments used were RPPH, assessment rubric, and pretest-posttest questions. The cognitive development indicators assessed in this study were naming the number symbols 1-10, using number symbols to count, matching numbers with symbols, recognizing vowel and consonant symbols, representing objects in pictures/writing, recognizing differences based on size, and demonstrating exploratory and investigative activities. The results of this study before the treatment showed that 63% of students hadn't developed and 37% had begun to develop. After the treatment, the results were 23% developing as expected and 77% developing very well. The N-Gain Test results showed a prevalence of 0.76, which is categorized as high, indicating that the use of picture cards depicting Kalimantan animals is effective as a teaching variation material for teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using origami paper folding techniques in improving the fine motor skills of 5-6 year old children at Barunawati 3 Kindergarten in Samarinda. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre experimental design, One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The sample used was total sampling, namely all 23 children in group B at Barunawati 3 Samarinda. The results of this study showed that the pretest score 50.10, categorized as developing, and after the treatment, the average posttest score was 75.43, categorized as developing as expected. The n-gain score obtained a value of 0.6 < 0.7 with a percentage of 67.05%. placing it in the moderate category, which means that the use of origami paper folding techniques in improving children’s fine motor skills is quite effective. The n-gain score results show an improvement in fine motor skill after treatment using the origami paper folding technique. Furthermore, the significance value obtained in the hypothesis test was 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the significance value is smaller than α = 0.05. the t-count value obtained was 41.356 and the t-table value obtained was 1.713, so it can be seen that t-count > t-table, namely 41.356 > 1.713.

Abstract

Prolonged exposure to smartphones has caused many children to become dependent on digital devices as a primary source of entertainment. This condition has been linked to a decline in children's social sensitivity and interaction skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in enhancing social skills among early childhood learners. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a thematic approach, and the validity of findings was ensured through data triangulation. The results indicate that the integration of the Pancasila Student Profile in classroom activities has positively influenced the development of children's social skills, particularly in peer interactions. These findings suggest that the P5 initiative can serve as a valuable foundation not only for fostering social skills but also for supporting broader aspects of early childhood development.
