Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of school-based management (SBM), particularly in the areas of students based on the 3 pillars of SBM, such as school management, PAIKEM, and community participation. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The data validity used method and source triangulation techniques. Data analysis using theme analysis techniques. The results showed that SD Negeri Kusumodilagan had implemented the 3 pillars of School Based Management (MBS) well. The school is able to carry out school management, especially in the field of students by involving the cooperation of related parties. All teachers have implemented PAIKEM at SD Negeri Kusumodilagan by utilizing existing resources. In addition, community participation has increased compared to the previous academic year. Parents, school committees, DUDI, and the Health Office provide mutual support for the smooth running of the program of activities held by the school.

Abstract

Abstract. The results of the PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) show that the cognitive abilities of Indonesian students are ranked low. Cognitive abilities in mathematics can be improved on condition that students must have higher order thinking skills (HOTS). Therefore, the government has made an educational assessment model in Indonesia directed towards the HOTS assessment model, one of which is in the Final Semester Assessment (FSA). Based on these problems, this study aims to describe the Final Semester Assessment questions for math class IV at Dukuhan Kerten Elementary School for the 2022/2023 academic year based on thinking levels, by classifying questions based on Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS), Middle Order Thinking Skills (MOTS), and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). There are two instruments in this study, the main instrument which is the researcher, and the supporting instruments in the form of guidelines for analyzing the cognitive level of Final Semester Assessment questions in class IV mathematics. The instrument was compiled based on according to the cognitive levels of Bloom revised by Anderson and Krathwohl. This research found that out of 35 items, there were 13 questions that belonged to the HOTS cognitive level, in addition, 16 questions were dominated by the C3 cognitive level, then 3 questions included the C2 cognitive level, then 3 questions included the C1 cognitive level. In this question, there is also a stimulus in the form of pictures, graphs, and diagrams.Keywordsi: final semester assessment, High Orders Thingking Skills (HOTS), Mathematic

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of the research are to (1) describe the types of student’s mathematics learning difficulties of grade 5th B Karang Elementary School in solving story problems using Newman theory analysis for the 2023/2024 academic year, (2) describe the factors causing student’s mathematics learning difficulties in solving story problems. The material studied in this study is multiplication and division of decimal numbers. This research uses the qualitative and case study type research. The research subjects in this study were five students of 5th B Karang Elementary School. Validity tests in this study used tricoagulation techniques and time. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis used is Miles and Huberman's data analysis. The results showed that students had: (1) reading difficulties by 4.4%, (2) comprehension difficulties by 14.4%, (3) transformation difficulties by 26.6%, (4) process skills difficulties by 25.9%, (5) difficulty writing final answers by 28.5%. The factors that cause student’s learning difficulties, include: 1) students cannot read mathematical units, 2) students do not know how to understand the problem, 3) students do not know how to make and the importance of writing mathematical models and choose the wrong calculation operations, 4) students do not understand the sequence of doing calculations by multiplication and division of decimal numbers and do not recorrect the results, 5) difficulty at the calculation stage, forgetting to determine the location of the comma, and not knowing the importance of writing conclusions and how to make them. Keywords: maths learning difficulties, students, story problems, Newman procedure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of capital letters errors in the narrative essay of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Sempor and the underlying factor in the misuse of capital letters. This study is against the background of errors that learners often use in capital letters. The study used qualitative descriptive methods aimed at analyzing the misuse of capital letters in the country's 3 sempor class v student narrative. The subject of this study is a 24-student v-class student and cass V teacher of SD Negeri 3 Sempor. The study uses data-collection techniques of documentation, interviews, and observation. Data analysis uses interactive data analysis techniques with data gathering, data reduction, data presentation, and deduction drawing. The validity of data on this research uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study have been found misusing capital letters in the narrative of 3rd sempor country's vice student v. The error covers six indicators of error at the beginning of the sentence as many as 59 errors, errors in the name of as many as 4 errors, errors in the name of the day as 8 errors, errors in the geography name as 21 errors, and errors in the title of 21 errors. The most common mistake was the start of a sentence of 56% and the least amount of error on a person's name of 4%. A factor behind the misus of capital letters is that learners lack an understanding of the code of capital letter writing.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the distribution of cognitive process dimensions in formative questions in the Indonesian language book "Aku bisa!" grade 1 elementary school merdeka curriculum. This research is a type of content analysis research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research data is in the form of a distribution of formative assessment questions categorized according to the cognitive levels of Bloom revised by Anderson and Krathwohl. The data analysis technique used Creswell's spiral analysis model. The results of this study showed that Indonesian formative assessment questions were found to be unevenly distributed and integrated in the learning process. This has the benefit of providing feedback for students regarding mastery of learning materials and feedback for teachers to improve and perfect further learning. The formative assessment questions in the grade 1 Indonesian book "Aku Bisa!" cover six cognitive dimensions with a distribution of C1 50%, C2 27%, C3 3%, C4 10%, C5 7%, and C6 3%. Basically, grade 1 students are still in the beginning reading and writing stage. However, they also need to be trained to develop their thinking skills through language activities.
