Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of role ambiguity and role conflict on employee creativity. This research used the causal method by collecting primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires. Samples are 126 respondents of Faculty Economics and Business University Lampung alumnae who graduated 2015-2017. Data were processed using the multiple regression method. Result analysis shows that role ambiguity has a positive and significant influence on employee creativity, with a value of 44%. Another result of this research shows that role conflict positively influences employee creativity with a value of 19%. Keywords:Role Ambiguity, Role Conflict, Employee Creativity ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari ambiguitas peran dan konflik peran terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausal dengan menggunakan data primer dari penyebaran kuesioner. Sampel penelitian adalah 126 responden alumni Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lampung lulusan tahun 2015 sampai 2017 dan sudah bekerja. Data diolah dengan menggunakan metode regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ambiguitas peran memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 44% terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Hasil lain dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran memiliki dampak positif sebesar 19% terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Kata Kunci: Ambiguitas Peran, Konflik Peran, Kreativitas Karyawan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the performance of PT Sygma Daya Insani Lampung employees, which tends to decline. The sample used in this study was 154 respondents, namely employees of PT Sygma Daya Insani Lampung. The quantitative analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses the t-test (partial) to determine that the independent variable partially has a significant effect on the dependent variable. The results of the research on the hypothesis under study as a whole are accepted. It means that the variables of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence are significant in shaping the performance of the employees of PT Sygma Daya Insani Lampung. Suggested efforts to improve employees' intellectual intelligence at PT Sygma Daya Insani Lampung, the company holds training for employees to improve intellectual intelligence. Then another suggestion that the company can make is that the company should change the organizational structure. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan emosional, dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Sygma Daya Insani Lampung yang cenderung menurun. Sampel penelitian sebesar 154 karyawan PT Sygma Daya Insani Lampung. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dan uji t (parsial) untuk mengetahui pengaru variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan secara keseluruhan hipotesis diterima. Kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan emosional, dan kecerdasan spiritual merupakan variabel yang signifikan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan PT Sygma Daya Insani Lampung. Saran penelitian ini adalah perusahaan mengadakan pelatihan bagi karyawan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan intelektual. Saran lain yang dapat dilakukan oleh perusahaan yaitu sebaiknya perusahaan melakukan perubahan struktur organisasi. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Intelektual, Kecerdasan Emosional, Kecerdasan Spiritual, Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah sikap terhadap informasi dan kompetensi literasi berpengaruh pada pencapaian prestasi mahasiswa MBKM. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif karena didasarkan pada sampel sebanyak 232 responden dari mahasiswa yang mengikuti program MBKM. Data yang terkumpul pada penelitian ini didapatkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Analisis regresi linier berganda dan uji parsial (uji-t) merupakan pengujian untuk membuktikan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini, dengan hasil memperlihatkan bahwa masing-masing variabel yaitu sikap terhadap informasi serta kompetensi literasi berpengaruh secara signifikan pada pencapaian mahasiswa MBKM.Kata kunci: Sikap, Kompetensi, Literasi Informasi, Pencapaian Prestasi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how innovatice behavior and creativity affect the productivity of millennial workers in Bandar Lampung's tourist and hospitality sector. In order to accomplish this, a quantitative technique was used in the research, and data was gathered via a Likert scale questionnaire. Because the exact number of population members is unclear, the study used a purposive sampling method to establish the sample size, which amounted to 150 respondents. Software called SPSS 26 was used to examine research data, instruments, and hypothesis testing. This study employed multiple linear regression analysis as its analysis approach. The study's findings demonstrate that innovative and creative behavior benefit millennial workers' performance in the tourism and hospitality sectors in Bandar Lampung. Workers show efficacy in putting ideas into practice, but they are not as proactive in seeking out novel chances. Despite a propensity to be cautious when attempting new ideas, employee innovation has proved to be crucial to organizational success. As a result, encouraging innovation is crucial for raising employee performance and fostering organizational expansion.

Abstract

Workers in Bandar Lampung's coffee shop sector are particularly susceptible to stress. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how job stress affects employee engagement while controlling for mindfulness. Stress at work is the independent variable that is employed. Employee involvement is employed as the dependent variable. Mindfulness is the moderating variable employed. All of the Generation Z workers in the Bandar Lampung coffee shop sector made up the study's demographic. Purposive sampling was the technique employed, and the sample size consisted of 133 workers from coffee shops. A Likert-scaled questionnaire was employed as the data collection tool in this investigation. Simple linear regression and moderation regression analysis are used in this research analysis technique. The study's findings suggest that work stress has a substantial and detrimental impact on employee engagement and that mindfulness does not mitigate this effect in the case of Generation Z workers in Bandar Lampung's coffee shop sector. The study's conclusion is that the coffee shop should focus more on the responsibilities assigned to its staff members' tasks and modify the workload in accordance with their skill levels. The coffee shop has to learn more about the needs that its employees have at work.

Abstract

Porter’s Five Forces, which include Supplier Bargaining Power, Threat of New Entrants, Intensity of Competitive Rivalry, and Buyer Bargaining Power, are crucial factors that companies must consider, as they can have a significant and negative impact on business operations. This approach enables companies to understand and map their strategic position within the industry. By analyzing these forces, MSMEs can identify external factors that either hinder or support their competitiveness. This study employs a quantitative descriptive research method using a survey in the form of a questionnaire. The population in this research consists of 183 individuals, including business owners and employees working at Banana Chips MSMEs in Bandar Lampung. The findings, which examine the influence of Porter’s Five Forces strategy on competitive advantage, indicate that implementing this strategy significantly enhances the competitiveness of Banana Chips MSMEs in Bandar Lampung. Porter’s Five Forces strategy, encompassing industry competition analysis, the threat of new entrants, supplier bargaining power, buyer bargaining power, and the threat of substitute products or services, serves as an essential tool for understanding a company’s position in a competitive market. By applying this strategy, Banana Chips MSMEs in Bandar Lampung can identify market opportunities and challenges, enabling them to develop effective strategic measures to maintain their competitive advantage over rivals. Therefore, Porter’s Five Forces strategy has proven to be highly relevant in fostering competitive advantage within the MSME sector.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of extroverted personality traits on the dimensions of self-efficacy among employees in the telecommunications industry in Metro City. The study is grounded in the significance of innovation and employee performance in navigating today’s complex business environment. Employing a quantitative approach with a survey method, the study involved 110 respondents from the telecommunications sector. Data were gathered through questionnaires and analyzed using simple regression analysis. The findings indicate that extroversion has a positive and significant effect on all aspects of self-efficacy: level, generality, and strength. The mean score for extroversion was 4.15, while the mean scores for the self-efficacy dimensions were 4.18 (level), 4.30 (generality), and 4.32 (strength). Regression analysis revealed that extroversion influences the level dimension by 52.9%, generality by 64.8%, and strength by 69.1%. All hypotheses were supported with significance values below 0.05, indicating statistically significant relationships between the variables.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of knowledge management and creativity on employee performance within the creative industry sector in Bandar Lampung. Employing a quantitative methodology, data were gathered through the distribution of structured questionnaires. The research sample comprised 140 employees representing various subsectors of the creative industry, including application development, architecture, interior design, visual communication design, product design, fashion, film, photography, handicrafts, culinary arts, music, publishing, advertising, performing arts, fine arts, television, and radio. To examine the relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable, multiple linear regression analysis was utilized. The findings indicate that both knowledge management and creativity exert a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance. This implies that enhanced knowledge management practices and elevated levels of employee creativity contribute to improved work outcomes. Consequently, organizations are encouraged to enhance their knowledge management frameworks and cultivate a creative work environment to boost employee productivity and support the achievement of organizational objectives.

Abstract

The advancement of technology within organizations supports companies in innovating their work systems more efficiently and effectively. Technological sophistication has transformed the organizational work environment by enabling hybrid models that combine remote and in-office work. This research aims to examine the influence of hybrid work arrangements and dual role conflict on employee performance in Indonesia’s pharmaceutical sector. Data were gathered through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to 185 employees working in the pharmaceutical industry across Indonesia. The data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 27. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability; validity was assessed through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA MSA), including Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO), Anti-Image, and Factor Loadings. Normality was examined using the one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Hypothesis testing employed multiple linear regression and t-tests. The findings indicate that both hybrid work systems and dual role conflict have a positive and significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of ethical leadership and quality of work life on employee loyalty in UMKM sector in Bandar Lampung City. Ethical leadership is seen as capable of creating fairness, transparency, and trust within the organization, which can enhance employee loyalty. A good quality of work life, including work-life balance, proper working conditions, and career development opportunities, is also believed to boost employee commitment. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 229 respondents, who are employees in UMKM in Bandar Lampung City. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The results show that ethical leadership and quality of work life have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. These findings suggest that applying ethical leadership values and improving work life quality can be effective strategies for UMKM practitioners to retain loyal and dedicated employees.
