Abstract

The effectiveness of the use of the serial image method to improve the ability of students (experimental research at the Nur Al-Falah Melabuh Islamic Boarding School Institute) Kitabah (writing skills) is a process of brain work in expressing the contents of the human mind. Insya' can help students express their thoughts in the correct written form. Some students at Maʼhad Nurul Falah Meulaboh are not able to compose simple sentences (number of mufidah) properly and correctly and they have difficulty in compiling these sentences. One of the factors that affect students' understanding difficulties and students' weak understanding insya' is caused by teachers who do not use appropriate media in learning. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using strip drawing media in learning insya’ in Maʼhad Nurul Falah Meulaboh. The research method used in this research is the experimental method and to collect data, the researcher uses direct observation and test. . In terms of data analysis, the researcher used the T-Test formula. The results showed that the use of strip drawing media was effective in improving students' ability in learning insya' where the highest score after using strip drawing media reached 90 and this was also shown from the t-test score which was greater than the t-table score, which was 4.25 8.49.

Abstract

Hadih Maja (The Acehnese Proverbs) is oral literature as a wise expression of ancestral’s heritage about the values and philosophies of Acehnese life which is expressed briefly, densely, and with a touch of poetic language. Hadih Maja contains various values and philosophical dimensions so that it becomes a guide in carrying out the daily life of people in Aceh. Most of the Hadih Maja is a crystallization of Islamic values in the cultural system of the Acehnese people. One of the values contained in Hadih Maja is the value of Islamic parenting. This study aimed to describe and interpret some basic principles in the study of concepts Islamic parenting based on Hadih Maja (The Acehnese Proverbs). This research use qualitative method with content analysis techniques. The data collection technique was carried out by studying documents using primary data sources in the form of Hadih Maja collections written by Hasyim MK (1977) and interviews with the community regarding the use of Hadih Maja (The Acehnese Proverbs). The results of this research showed that the Islamic parenting values contained in Hadih Maja were divided into five basic principles. Hadih Maja contains five basic principles of Islamic parenting which are contained in the 20 Hadih Maja Aceh. The five basic principles of Islamic parenting contained in Hadih Maja are: 1) Qudwah Hasanah (Integrated Role Model); 2) Al-'Aadah (Habituation); 3) Al-Mauidzah (Effective Advice); 4) Al-Mulahadzah (Fairness in Care and Control); 5) Al-Ujurah wa al-'Uqubah (Proportional Consequencess). It is concluded that Hadih Maja a cultural product that is valuable and meaningful so to protect this ancestral heritage, this Hadih Maja must have to revitalize so that this valuable cultural treasure will be preserved and will not disappear over time.

Abstract

Hijrah is a great momentum in the history of da’wa Islam and was designated as the first year of Islamic calendar. Although it was initially associated with process of migration, the interpretation of hijrah is not limited to simply as moving from one place to another. In fact, it is referred to a significant milestones as a process of migrating or transforming to a better situation or a better self. These days, hijrah has become a phenomenal trend that is not only popular among those who are active in following Islamic group discussions but also among the youths who are the social media worshipers. Hijrah is viewed as the process of self-transformation and as an effort to practice all Islamic teachings performed by Rasulullah in daily life. During the process, however, the substantial values and the real meaning of hijrah are often considered missing. Rather than the change of attitudes and characters, it is often represented merely as changing physical appearances or ways of speaking. This paper is aimed to revisit the concept of hijrah in Islam and analyze its values and meanings within the current developing social phenomena. The study is conducted in a qualitative descriptive approach, and data collection was performed through literature study. The result shows that the dynamic practice of Islam highlights the current concept of hijrah. The core values in this self-transformation is to leave all the bad habits, to be more religious, and to embrace the modernity without compromising the faith.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the application of Aminin Application in improving the ability to reading the Qur'an in class V MIS Nurul Falah West Aceh and to find out how the effectiveness of the application of Aminin Application in improving the ability to read the Qur'an in class V MIS Nurul Falah West Aceh. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in the form of an cycle in which there are four main stages of activity, planning, action, observation, and reflection, with data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. The results showed that the students' ability to read the Qur'an using the Aminin application was very effective in improving the students' reading skills of the Qur'an in class V MIS Nurul Falah Aceh Barat. This is evidenced by the increasing percentage of students' ability to read the Qur'an in each cycle. By using several stages of the cycle, namely pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. In the pre-cycle of 27 students there were 5 students who completed or (18.51%) and 22 students did not complete (81.49%), while in the first cycle of 27 students there were 9 students who completed or (33.33%) and 18 students who did not complete (66.67%). Furthermore, in the second cycle, it showed that there was a very significant increase in the students' ability to read the Qur'an, namely from 27 students there were 26 students who completed or (96.30%) and only 1 student who did not complete (03.70%).
