Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode Team Quiz terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas IV SD pada materi sumber energi. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif Pre-Eksperimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Singkawang yang berjumlah 50 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVB yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu lembar tes hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Uji-t dua sampel berkorelasi dengan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan uji peningkatan menggunakan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode Team Quiz dengan hasil ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???????????????????????? = 3,574 > 2,010 dan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa setelah diterapkan metode Team Quiz dalam pembelajaran materi sumber energi sebesar 0,36 dengan kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan metode Team Quiz terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas IV SD pada materi sumber energi.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu implementasi dari penerapan KKN- PPM  yang bertujuan untuk dapat memotivasi kemauan belajar siswa, melatih keterampilan siswa dalam pengerjaan soal ujian nasional berbasis nasional(USBN), menambah wawasan serta pengalaman baru, melatih kemandirian dan keaktifan siswa dengan adanya bimbingan belajar. Pembahasan soal ujian nasional berbasis nasional (USBN) difokuskan pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, IPA dan Matematika. Kegiatan KKN- PPM adalah memberikan Program Bimbingan Belajar dalam Pembahasan Soal USBN yaitu siswa kelas VI SDN 05 Saparan, Desa Kumba, Kecamatan Jagoi Babang, Kelurahan Bengkayang yang berjumlah 13 orang dengan 6 laki-laki dan 7 orang perempuan. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil dari kegiatan KKN-PPM ini menunjukkan bahwa BIMBEL yang  peneliti lakukan dapat dikatakan sudah berhasil dengan metode dan strategi yang santai dan menyenangkan sehingga didapatkan respon positif dari siswa yang terkait di dalam pembelajaran bimbingan belajar ini.

Abstract

Training and mentoring are conducted for Kumba hamlet residents, especially among housewives in Jagoi Babang District. This mentoring program involves the lecturers and students of KKN STKIP Singkawang. A method that is used is the identification of the programs is socialization, training, and mentoring directly resulted in the form of the manufacturing practice of toman fish Abon. Toman fish processing into Abon is one way to utilize the potential of toman fish as a skills program to maximize innovative, creative and economic empowered business opportunities. The results of this socialization activity are students can play an active role in the activities and participants involved in Kumba Village can be understood the material presented. Overall, community empowerment partners can understand and practice material related to how they are created, the benefits, and marketing management. However, more intensive assistance is needed for business management related to business planning and financial management.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the self-awareness of grade IV students; (2) to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of grade IV students; (3) to find out how much of a correlation between self-awareness and cognitive learning outcomes. The research used was correlation research with a quantitative approach. The population and samples in the study were all grade IV students. The sampling technique in this study was the saturated sampling technique. The sampling technique was saturated sampling when all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques by calculating the percentage of questionnaire scores obtained, the average, and correlation analysis with regression using Pearson product-moment. The results showed that (1) the results of calculating the scores of each indicator, indicator 3, namely having a mandir attitude, had a percentage of 84%, while the lowest percentage, namely indicator 1, recognized one's feelings and behaviours by 60%. The overall percentage of the student's self-awareness questionnaire score was 76.9%, which means each indicator is in a good category; (2) students' social studies cognitive learning outcomes in the average data of student scores of 70.69 were well categorized; and (3) there was a significant correlation between self-awareness and cognitive learning outcomes of social studies students with tcount = 5.012 > ttable = 2.004, a correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.56 in the sufficient category, and a determinant coefficient of 31.39%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using the Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of the cognitive domain of grade V elementary school students on the animal respiratory system. The type of research used was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all grade V elementary school students totalling 74 students. Samples were taken by convenience sampling technique consisting of the VA class with 25 students as the experimental class and the VC class with 24 students as the control class. Data collection was carried out using cognitive learning outcomes tests on the animal respiratory system. The data were then analyzed using an independent two-sample t-test, an Effect Size test, and an N-gain test. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in student cognitive learning outcomes between classes that used the Quizizz application and classes that did not use the Quizizz application with tcount > ttable, namely 3.8133 > 2.0139; (2) the use of the Quizizz application had a high influence on the learning outcomes of the cognitive domain of students with the results of an Effect Size of 1.08, high criteria; (3) the use of the Quizizz application could improve students' cognitive learning outcomes with N-gain results of 0.5172, medium criteria. Thus, it could be concluded that there was an effect of using the Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of the cognitive domain of grade V elementary school students on the animal respiratory system.
