Abstract

Abstract: [English]This research aims to apply the CIRC type Cooperative learning model in Indonesian subjects about reading comprehension to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 68 Parepare. This type of research uses a class action research design. The approach used in this study is qualitative. The results of a survey conducted on November 8, 2018, in class V of SD Negeri 68 Parepare were seen to have a low level of reading comprehension still. This was also evident from 18 students from the KKM 70 that had been determined by the teacher. The average grade of Indonesian reading comprehension materials ranged between 30-60. The low reading comprehension results are caused by several factors involved as a learning component, namely the causal factors of the teacher and the causal factors of the students. Keywords:   Abstrak[indonesia]Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe CIRC dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tentang membaca pemahaman sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 68 Parepare. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada tanggal 8 November 2018 di kelas V SD Negeri 68 Parepare terlihat masih rendahnya tingkat kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Hal ini pun terbukti dari 18 siswa dari KKM 70 yang telah ditentukan oleh guru diperoleh rata-rata nilai Bahasa Indonesia materi membaca pemahaman berkisar antara 30-60. Rendahnya hasil membaca pemahaman tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang terlibat sebagai komponen pembelajaran, yakni faktor penyebab dari guru dan faktor penyebab dari siswa.

Abstract

Students who study well will produce satisfactory learning outcomes and in accordance with expectations. The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of the snowball throwing type of cooperative learning model to improve students' social studies learning outcomes. The research subjects were teachers and students of class VB SD Negeri 75 Parepare, with a total of 18 students, consisting of 11 boys and 7 girls for 2 days. The method used is a quasi-experimental method using cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle there are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In cycle II, there are planning, implementation, observation and reflection combined with the development of Production, Communication, and Transportation Technology. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of learning at the first cycle meeting has not succeeded in achieving the good category according to what has been determined. And student learning outcomes in cycle II have not met the demands of success indicators, namely 76% of students are able to master the learning material by getting a minimum score of 76. The findings of the third cycle showed student learning outcomes in general there was an increase in student participation in the class both individually and in groups as well as students' absorption of learning materials. The cooperative learning model can be a supporting literature to maximize student learning outcomes not only in social studies subjects. Furthermore, the discussion and implications will be discussed in more detail in this study.
