Abstract

As technology develops, more and more devices can produce or record sound waves. There are currently a lot of sound wave generators in use; however, the frequency output range of these generators is highly constrained. This study is being done to help doctors or the general public treat specific illnesses or disorders such as neurological disorders, headaches, and stomach digestion issues. This prototype was created using experimental or lab techniques. by running tests on the variables being utilized. The Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller is used to operate this prototype. The Arduino Mega 2560 employs the C and C+ programming languages for its code. The Arduino Mega 2560 may be used to modify the keypad's output frequency, amplitude, and data input. This tool is designed to be able to output frequencies of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (human sound). In this study, it has an output in the form of frequencies produced from speakers with test frequencies, namely 200 Hz, 10 kHz, and 17 kHz

Abstract

The increasing consumer demand in the fruit industry has also demanded that various sectors of the fruit processing industry be able to adapt to this situation. The demand for good quality and fresh fruit requires technological advances and supporting systems that can be used in the fruit processing industry to produce the best quality fruit. Referring to this, this study aims to detect the type and maturity of fruit using machine learning with the CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) method using the function of a camera that is integrated with the program algorithm. This research is a refinement of previous research that has been made at the university by increasing the ability to read objects based on color with different methods. In this programming language, Python also requires several additional libraries to carry out the object detection process, namely by using the cvzone library as the main library. This study shows that the detection of fruit and ripeness using the CNN method was successful in detecting the type and maturity of the fruit. In the design and trial of this research, it can run well according to the algorithm created by the researcher. The success rate and accuracy of the detection of the type and maturity of this fruit reach 90%.

Abstract

Industri rokok banyak dijumpai di pulau Jawa dan secara khusus pabrik rokok ini membutuhkan pita guna membungkus kemasan rokok dengan hasil yang baik. Proses ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mempertahankan cita rasa yang diinginkan. Mesin penggulung pita rokok yang ditemukan merupakan produk lama dan sudah tidak diproduksi lagi. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, mesin-mesin penggulung pita rokok ini mengalami masalah terkait kendali dan umur motor tersebut. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah menyelesaikan masalah kendali pada motor listrik satu fasa pada masyarakat industri secara khusus PT. Menamco. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini melalui identifikasi motor listrik satu fasa, merancang kendali guna mendapatkan putaran motor yang sesuai. Putaran motor yang diinginkan adalah pada tegangan 80 Volt AC akan tetapi tidak memiliki torka konstan sehingga dimungkinkan untuk berhenti sesaat. Ujicoba laboratorium dilakukan dan pada tahap akhir dilakukan pemasangan motor di PT. Menamco. Hasilnya motor mampu beroperasi sebagaimana mestinya, dari survei yang dilakukan sistem yang diimplementasikan mudah digunakan sebesar 91.7 % dari 12 responden dan mampu memberikan dampak yang baik 100%.

Abstract

The development of electrical power conversion equipment is increasing, along with the utilization of new and renewable energy sources. Power conversion equipment from DC to AC voltage, known as inverters, is extensively researched and implemented in this sector. These inverters commonly operate as step-down voltage in specific applications used as step-ups with limited operating ranges. A step-up-down inverter with a single power circuit is developed to overcome this issue. Still, the number of power switches used correlates with the complexity of its control strategy. This paper investigates a step-up-down inverter using the Zeta H-Bridge Inverter with the implementation of six power switches. Furthermore, this type of inverter is operated with a controlled output current utilizing the STM32VET407 microcontroller. The control method is derived based on possible operational modes. An HX10-P current sensor detects the output current. It maintains itself according to the current reference by installing a proportional-integral controller. The initial verification utilizes computational simulation with power simulator software, ensuring the system operates as intended. The final stage involves implementation in the laboratory and testing with standardized equipment. The test results meet the IEEE 519 standard, where the output current has a THD of 1.1%.

Abstract

The development of renewable energy utilizing electrical power conversion devices is growing rapidly. Electrical power conversion in an inverter works by converting DC into AC. Typically, the inverter works as a voltage reducer, but under certain conditions, it works as a voltage booster with a limited operating range. To overcome the problems, an inverter with a voltage-increasing and decreasing converter is implemented in the same circuit. This research has investigated the combination of an inverter with a Cuk Converter so that it becomes a Cuk H-Bridge Inverter with voltage boosting and reducing control. The Cuk H-Bridege Inverter implements eight power switches by combining the H-Bridge Inverter and Cuk Converter. LV25-P voltage sensor detects constant output voltage with integral proportional control using STM32F407VET6 microcontroller. The laboratory uses equipment according to the standard. A Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) generated in the test meets the IEEE 519 standard of 4.1%.

Abstract

Jaman sekarang bahan pangan seperti buah, sayur, daging banyak beredar baik ekspor maupun impor, sehingga penyimpanan barang-barang tersebut dibutuhkan dalam bidang industri karena bila tidak dijaga dalam temperatur tertentu barang-barang tersebut akan rusak nilai jualnya. Karena itu peranan cold room sangat dibutuhkan di jaman sekarang. Cold room adalah suatu sistem pendinginan dalam ruangan yang dirancang menggunakan mesin kompresor, evaporator, dan komponen elektronik sebagai sistem kendalinya. Karena produk di dalam cold room sangatlah penting maka banyak rancangan cold room memiliki 2 sistem refrigerasi yang salah satu sistemnya sebagai backup bila sistem utama terjadi masalah. Masalahnya sistem backup masih dikendalikan manual dan sering terjadi masalah karena tidak pernah beroperasi. Perakitan modul kontrol cold room ini menggunakan thermosatat XR75CH, XWEB500D-PRO, dan Cataco sebagai sistem kendalinya. Komponen tersebut dipilih sebagai sistem kendali otomatis untuk mengendalikan 2 sistem refrigerasi, memberikan jadwal untuk sistem utama dan backup untuk beroperasi dengan seimbang, sehingga berbeda dengan sistem kontrol konvensional. Dari hasil perancangan modul kontrol cold room ini sistem utama dan backup dapat beroperasi bergantian secara otomatis, fungsi alarm juga dapat memanggil sistem backup dengan baik, fungsi kendali, monitoring, dan pengumpulan data dalam setiap metode pengujian dapat diperoleh dalam bentuk grafik temperatur dengan satuan waktu yang diperoleh dari XWEB.

Abstract

The writing of this paper focuses on describing and relating simple modeling and analysis to the simulation of High-PassFilter (HPF) and Lowpass filter (LPF) designs using Op-Amp, which previously used an analog system and then converted into a digital system using input and output digital gain processing frequency which aims to strengthen the sinusoidal signal contained in the HPF and LPF systems. Filter is defined as an electrical network that is designed to pass alternating current that is increased at a predetermined frequency and blocks all alternating current that is increased at a predetermined frequency. Frequency also has types, namely analog, digital, active and passive. Analog filters are used for analog signals, digital are used for signals using digital techniques, passive filters such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, and active such as transistors or op-amps. In general, the understanding of HPF is that it passes high frequencies at the cut-off frequency and dampens low frequencies. Furthermore, LPF also has different characteristics, namely, passing low frequencies and dampening high frequencies. Currently related to digital signal processing, it can be said to be a method of manipulating, analyzing and interpreting signals, which is used to process the removal of noise or interference on several unwanted components of the signal. By knowing these characteristics, what the author did was carry out a simulation aimed at helping to obtain optimal frequency output.
