Abstract

The aims of this study are to find out significant difference of students’ speaking achievement after being taught through persuasive group presentation technique, whether or not persuasive group presentation can be used to increase students’ speaking aspects in terms of vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, pronunciation, grammar and analyze teaching learning process by using current technique. This research used mix method between quantitative and qualitative. The sample was chosen purposively based on the highest score that was XI IPA1. The results are there is significant difference in level 0.05 because t-ratio is higher than t-table (5746  2045), students’ achievement was increasing after they taught through persuasive group presentation technique, and teaching learning process by using current technique ran well although there are problems which faced by students and English teacher. Keywords: achievement, persuasive group presentation technique, speaking aspect.

Abstract

Swamps in Indonesia are widely spread over four major islands, namely in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Papua, and Sulawesi Papua. The problem with acid-sulfate soils is when the pyrite layer is oxidized. This study used a two-factorial with completly randomized design (CRD). The first factor was flooding fluctuation an the second factor was lime with straw compost. The soil parameters tested were pH and soluble Fe. Observations in the second week of the treatment of fluctuations in puddles that were drained, then flooded and added with a mixture of 3 t ha-1 lime, and 2.5 t ha-1 of straw compos resulted in the highest pH of 6.21. The best soil pH was given lime at 3 t ha-1, both flooded and drained. Observations in the fourth week produced the highest pH, namely 4.80. The pH value of the slightly acidic soil was due to an oxidation-reduction process. The 2nd week of observation had the highest soluble Fe value of 221 mg kg1, which was due to the analysis of soluble Fe using a pH of 4.8 so that Fe2+ increased in dissolved Fe. The fourth week of observation had the lowest soluble Fe value of 56.34 mg kg-1. This was due to flooding and the application of a mixture of lime and rice straw compost. The results of the study show that the interaction of fluctuations in water, lime, and rice straw compost that can affect soil pH and the solubility of soil soluble iron (Fe2+).

Abstract

Introduction: Sectio caesarea is an operation to help with childbirth through an incision (incision) in the abdominal wall (laparotomy) and uterus (hysterectomy) to deliver the fetus. One of the nursing interventions that can be given is early mobilization for post-operative patients. Mobilization is the main factor in speeding up recovery and preventing post-surgical complications. Early mobilization can increase blood circulation which can reduce pain, prevent thrombophlebitis, provide nutrition for the healing of the wound area and improve smooth kidney function are important goals in the treatment process. These benefits will be felt by patients if they mobilize early after surgery. Method: The research design that will be used is descriptive research. Sampling in this research will use purposive sampling technique. The number of samples that will be used in this research is 2 respondents with cases After Caesarean Section in the inpatient room at TK IV Army Hospital 01.04.07 Pematangsiantar, in April 2024. Results: Based on the results of the implementation that has been carried out, there is a reduction in the intensity of pain in mothers post section caesarea after being given early mobilization techniques Suggestion: Suggestions given for the research that has been carried out are that nurses should be able to innovate in developing nursing knowledge, especially in caring for clients who experience it after caesarean section by providing early mobilization measures to reduce pain in the mother.
