Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek penggunaan kombinasi antara hijauan dan konsentrat dengan bentuk yang berbeda terhadap performa kelinci jantan new zaeland white. Materi yang digunakan pada peneltian adalah kelinci jantan new zaeland white umur 3 bulan sebanyak 32 ekor. Kelinci dikelompokan berdasarkan 4 perlakuan yang berbeda yaitu: Daun Kubis Bunga (DKB) + konsentrat bentuk pellet (T1), Daun Kubis Bunga (DKB) + konsentrat bentuk crumble (T2), Daun Kubis Bunga (DKB) + konsentrat bentuk mash (T3), Daun Kubis Bunga (DKB) + konsentrat bentuk pasta (T4). Metode yang digunakan pada peneltian adalah percobaan dengan completely random design (CRD). Data diolah menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis of variance) bila terdapat perbedaan yang sangat nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multipel range test (DMRT). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa efek penggunaan kombinasi antara hijauan dan konsentrat dengan bentuk yang berbeda memberikan hasil berbeda nyata (P<0,01) pada konsumsi pakan dan konversi pakan, tetapi memberikan hasil yang nyata (P>0,05) pada pertambahan bobot badan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa efek pemberian kombinasi antara hijauan dengan bentuk konsentrat yang berbeda memberikan perbedaan hasil pada konsumsi pakan dan konversi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan, dan konversi pakan terhadap kelinci jantan new zaeland white, meskipun terdapat perbedaan pada performa tetapi pertumbuhan kelinci terlihat normal dan dalam keadaan sehat. Kata kunci: kelinci jantan new zaeland white, daun kubis bunga, perbedaan bentuk konsentrat.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the effect of the method of fermentation technology on organic food waste as an additional alternative ingredient in broiler chicken dietary. The research was carried out in September 2018 at the physics and chemistry laboratory of the Universitas Islam Batik Surakarta. The research material uses restaurant food waste which is then fermented. The results of the proximate analysis of fermented food waste were BK 88.91%, Ash 8.94%, Protein 22.40%, Fat 5.96% and Crude Fiber 19.12%. Based on the results of proximate analysis, it shows that fermented food waste is included in protein source feed ingredients because it has a crude protein content of 20% or more, while restaurant waste fermentation has a crude protein content of 22.40%. The addition of 15% restaurant waste fermentation in broiler chicken rations can be done by adding other feed ingredients such as corn, soybean meal, fine bran, fish meal, palm oil, and premix. Abstract

The study was aimed to determine the influence of age and slaughter weight on carcass and non-carcass (head, skin, and digestive tract) of local sheep. Sixty local sheeps consisted of thirty local female sheep with slaughter weight 15-19,99 kg and thirty local sheeps with slaughter weight 20-25 kg, consisted of age less than one year, 1-1,5 years, and 2- 3 years. Data collected included age, slaughter weight, carcass weight, non-carcass (weight of head, skin, and digestive tract), carcass percentage, and non-carcass percentage. Data were analyzed in a 2 x 3 factorial design. The first factor was slaughter weight and the second factor was the age of local sheep. The difference between means was analyzed using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that slaughter weight significantly(P<0.05) influenced carcass and non-carcass percentage. Age of local sheep significantly (P<0,05) influenced carcass percentage, skin percentage, and digestive tract percentage. Therefore it could be concluded that the slaughter weight significantly influenced carcass and non-carcass and age significantly influenced carcass and non-carcass percentage, except legs percentage. In conclusion, age dan body weight gave to increase the percentage of carcass dan non-carcass. There was no interaction between the age of local sheep and slaughter weight on the carcass and non-carcass percentage.Keywords: Local sheep, slaughter weight, age, carcass, non-carcass

Abstract

This study aims to compare the profit of fertilized egg production and consumption in layer breeders in Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency. Data was collected at layer chicken farmers in Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency. The study was conducted from October to December 2019. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The method of data collection is done by purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is the taking of data by giving certain considerations or giving conditions to the samples taken. The parameters observed were chicken population, average egg production, percentage of fertilized eggs, percentage of damaged eggs, and percentage of empty eggs. The selling price of Rp. 20,000.00 / kg of consumption eggs, the selling price of fertilized eggs Rp. 2,200.00 / item and the price of empty eggs (after candling 4 days of hatching) Rp. 10,000.00 / kg or half of the price of normal consumption eggs. Respondent B had the largest difference in sales price among all respondents, namely Rp.49,754,585.00 because it had the largest layer of livestock population and the average egg production. Multiple regression analysis obtained Y = 18,479,449-30,251 X1 + 46,389 X2. Production of fertilized eggs and eggs together has a positive influence on the profitability of selling fertile eggs. The conclusion of this study is fertile egg production provides optimal profit when egg production and egg fertility are high.Keywords: Prices of fertilized eggs, egg production, fertilized egg production, coefficient of determination

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 membuat skala usaha di segala bidang mengalami penurunan, termasuk usaha ayam petelur. Pemerintah memberikan suatau program untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan karena dampak pandemi dengan memberikan program baik lanjutan program yang sudah ada maupun dengan pengembangan program. Program pemerintah bantuan sosial berupa Program Keluarga Harapan dan Program Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai.Penyaluran program bantuan sosial diharapkan bisa membantu untuk meningkatkan harga komoditas telur. Pada masa pandemi harga telur sangat tertekan, pemberian bantuan sosial yang diharapkan akan membantu, semakin membuat harga telur tertekan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan teknik tabulasi dan grafik. Data yang digunakan bersifat empiris, artinya hanya menghimpun informasi-informasi yang telah teruji kebenarannya. Hasil penelitian selama masa pandemi tahun 2021, harga telur rata-rata Rp 18.583 per kilo, sangat rendah dan tertekan oleh pola penyaluran bantuan sosial pemerintah. Tahun 2022 sudah berangsur membaik rata-rata Rp 23.214 per kilo, tahun 2023 sampai dengan semester awal lebih baik lagi Rp 25.325 per kilo. Harga telur ayam petelur setelah masa pandemi lebih stabil dan tidak dipengaruhi pola penyaluran bansos pemerintah

Abstract

Abstract

Telur itik menrupakan sumber pangan hewani yang dihasilkan dari ternak itik. Telur itik menjadi sumber pangan hewani alternatif dalam mengganti telur ayam. Telur infertil merupakan telur hasil penetasan yang kosong atau tidak terdapat adanya embrio karena tidak terdapat fertilisasi dari sel gamet jantan dengan betina, sehingga telur infertil harus di culling dari mesin tetas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tepung daun pandan terhadap uji organoleptik telur asin. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia Fakultas Pertanian UNIBA Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus Uji Hedonik dengan 5 perlakuan dan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 6 ulangan yaitu P0: penyimpanan telur asin tanpa tepung daun pandan (kontrol), P1: penyimpanan telur asin dengan penambahan 10% tepung daun pandan, P2: penyimpanan telur asin dengan penambahan 15% tepung daun pandan. P3: penyimpanan telur asin dengan penambahan 20% tepung daun pandan, P4: penyimpanan telur asin dengan penambahan 25% tepung daun pandan. Nilai uji hedonik dihitung dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Parameter yang diamati adalah tingkat keasinan, warna kuning telur, kemasiran, dan tingkat kesukaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pada tingkat keasinan, tingkat kemasiran, dan tingkat kesukaan, sementara terdapat perbedaan yang nyata terhadap warna kuning telur. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan daun pandan sebagai bahan pemberi atau penambah aroma pada telur asin tidak akan memberikan pengaruh bila fisik daun pandan hanya dibuat dalam bentuk tepung, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait dengan bentuk daun pandan yang dapat memberikan pengaruh kepada telur asin, dengan mengubah daun pandan dalam bentuk ekstrak.   Kata kunci: daun pandan, telur asin, penyimpanan

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk diseminasi tanaman shorgum di acara solo anggrek festival yang diselenggarakan pada bulan Juli tahun 2025. Bertempat di gedung graha wisata niaga, Surakarta, sejak 19 hingga 27 Juli 2025, Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan secara sosialisasi, edukasi, pameran produk dan pelatihan pada masyarakat pengunjung solo anggrek ferstival. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat positif, peserta aktif dan antusias. Ditandai dengan banyaknya pertanyaan, diskusi dua arah dan tertarik untuk membeli dan mau menanam tanaman shorgun yang kami berikan secara gratis kepada samua pengunjung.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect addition of red ginger and garlic to salted egg quality with dry curing method. This research used 160 fresh duck eggs which were curing for 14 days with a mixture of red ginger and garlic with 4 treatments that is P0 (without red ginger and garlic (control)), P1 (addition of red ginger 80% and garlic 20%), P2 (addition of red ginger 50% and garlic 50%), P3 (addition of red ginger 20% and garlic 80%) and every treatment there is 4 repetitions, each repetition consisting of 10 duck eggs. The method research was to use organoleptic test on salted eggs on 40 respondents for the judging, The data from the organoleptic test results were calculated using Completely Randomized Design (CRD), if the results of the analysis of variance showed a very real effect, continue using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The research showing that the addition of red ginger and garlic to salted eggs had a very significant effect on the flavour and taste of salted eggs, but not significant effect on the texture and salted eggs sourness. The conclusion of this study is that the best treatment of using red ginger and garlic for salted egg processing is in treatment 2, that is the use of red ginger and garlic as much as 50% seen from the results of the assessment by 40 respondents, then the assessment data were calculated using a completely randomized design. It can be seen from the calculation of data on the RAL that respondents prefer the flavour and taste of salted eggs in treatment 2.
