Abstract

Ketergantungan pada penggunaan bahan bakar fosil saat ini dihadapkan pada tantangan dalam permintaan dan pertimbangan lingkungan. Pencemaran lingkungan dari bahan bakar fosil yang dibakar melepaskan karbon dioksida yang bertanggung jawab terjadinya pemanasan global. Tenaga surya adalah salah satu sumber energi terbarukan yang paling menjanjikan, yang mengubah cahaya matahari menjadi energi listrik. Sistem pelacak cahaya matahari pada solar cell sangat diperlukan untuk pengoptimalan konversi energi listrik. Penelitian ini membandingkan konversi energi solar cell dengan menggunakan sistem (tracking) dan tanpa menggunakan sistem (statis). Setelah dilakukan pengujian perbandingan tegangan, arus, daya solar cell dengan sistem dan tanpa sistem yang dilakukan pada tanggal 15 Juli 2018. Perbadingan tegangan didapat perbedaan nilai 6% dengan selisih tertinggi 2.34V, perbandingan arus terdapat perbedaan nilai 53% dengan selisih tertinggi 0.21A dan untuk perbandingan daya diperoleh perbedaan nilai 55.92% dengan selisih tertinggi 2.8VA

Abstract

Selection of devices for IoT needs can be determined based on the range from the shortest to the furthest, and on the internet access or Wi-Fi availability, which can be considered in advance and adjusted to the needs. In line with this, a training was carried out at SMKN 1 Cimahi, involving several groups of experts in the Electrical Engineering familyto open insight and understanding regarding the needs of devices that can be used to build internet-based or IoT systems. This training also introduced several observation schemes with various platforms, that are available in both free and paid choices. The training activities were carried out for 16 hours face-to-face, and 16 hours of independent projects that consisted of 10 modules. Out of these activities, it is expected that the participants can improve their thinking skills and carry out system programming processes according to needs and readiness.

Abstract

Telecommunications technology continues to undergo advancements. The enabler of communication in the field of telecommunications is the telecommunications equipment installed on a BTS tower. These devices are constantly being updated to improve the service provided by the provider to meet the needs of customers. One of the network technologies currently used is 4G LTE. To enhance the network service, one of the measures taken is performing a swap or upgrade of the telecommunications equipment on a BTS tower. The upgrade of telecommunications equipment is also influenced by the population in the vicinity of the BTS tower. This allows for the replacement of telecommunications devices with ones that have broader coverage and better signal quality. This research, we discuss the issue of network capacity shortage in the Cibeureum area, South Cimahi. This is indicated by the addition of AAUs to the BTS tower in Pusdikom, Cibeureum. This research found data that South Cimahi is the most densely populated area in the city compared to other districts. Therefore, the addition of AAUs is highly effective for this issue. It is known that the AAUs are added to replace the RRUs on the tower. This is because the capacity and transmission channels of AAUs are greater than RRUs. The addition of AAU with 32T32R specifications to the tower improves signal quality with the following parameter values: RSRP(dbm): -68, -72, -76; RSRQ(db): -11, -10, -10; and SNR(db): 1, 1, 4. These values are categorized as good, indicating that the addition of AAU to the tower can effectively increase network capacity and transmission channels, thereby improving network quality in the area.

Abstract

In an electric power system, protection is needed that can protect and also secure users and electrical equipment, so a system is needed, namely a grounding system at the electricity distribution substation. The grounding system in the distribution network aims to directly protect people and equipment if a ground fault occurs or a current leak occurs which causes insulation failure, overvoltage on distribution network equipment and lightning can also produce fault currents and overvoltage. The danger of disturbances caused by lightning can be overcome if the grounding system is good, that is, it has a grounding resistance value of less than ≤1 ohm so that the current from disturbances caused by lightning can flow directly into the ground. Several distribution substations at ULP Soreang often experience problems because the resistance values ​​are quite high, namely 34.2 Ω, 25 Ω, 41.5 Ω, 6.42 Ω, and 10.98 Ω. The method used is a drive ground system, namely by installing a grounding rod or rod electrode into the ground to reduce the resistance value so that it can conduct excess current so that it can secure electrical equipment and maintain the safety of people who use it. The results of the research can be used as a reference in determining actions to prevent early distribution disruptions or as material for determining the installation of grounding at substations that are distributed appropriately, so that the Soreang UP3 Majalaya ULP grounding system can maintain its confidentiality.

Abstract

Gedung Fakultas Psikologi Unjani, seiring dengan digitalisasi bebagai layanan administrasi, pelayanan publik bagi mahasiswa dan kebutuhan Dosen terdapat fasilitas internet WLAN yang semakin meningkat. Permasalahan yang sering timbul yaitu dalam hal kualitas jaringan internet, terutama pada hari hari sibuk disebabkan karena banyaknya pengguna mengakses jaringan secara bersamaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi pengukuran langsung pada jaringan WLAN yaitu Access Point Aruba AP-505 Wi-Fi 6, frekuensi 5 GHz. Pengukuran dilakukan selama 4 hari secara Streaming You Tube, menggunakan Software Wireshark pada laptop Acer RYZEN 5. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama 5 menit, Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas jaringan WLAN di Gedung Fakultas Psikologi Unjani hasilnya bersifat variatif. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata indeks keseluruhan dari enam hari tersebut dengan nilai rata-rata delay 4,899 ms - 13,83 ms, indeks di angka 4. Rata-rata Jitter yaitu 1,996 ms - 3,915 ms, dengan indeks 3. Packet loss, yang cukup tinggi dari 3,475% - 10,02%, dengan indeks 3. Throughput mulai dari 55,75 Kbps/s - 20.197,75 Kbps/s, dengan indeks yang bervariasi antara 2 hingga 4. Berdasarkan keseluruhan hasil rata-rata indeks dari enam hari tersebut didapatkan hasil sebesar 3.42, menunjukkan bahwa kualitas jaringan tersebut dapat diakategorikan sangat memuaskan. .
