Abstract

This study aims to identify the verbal behavior characteristics of Islamic university students with the use of Facebook in order to determine the identity forms that become a representation of their language aspects. Qualitative method was applied to objectively describe the social practices, and the varying issues and objectives of linguistic features that are generated and interpreted in these discourses. The data was procured, by using content analysis and observation, from the discourses of students at State Islamic University Imam Bonjol in the form of Facebook status posts and comments written in Facebook groups. The analysis was conducted following Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis with a Critical Linguistics Approach. The results showed that the language features of the students contain some characteristics that appear in the form of abbreviations or acronyms, and the insertion of elements of foreign languages mostly dominated by features of Arabic. It was also found that the status and comments of the students focused on five dominant issues: religious, university, personal, social and cultural, and national issues. It was concluded that situational, institutional, and cultural contexts influenced the students’ production of particular discourse on Facebook. Features, issues, and discourse context identified through language used by the students had become one of many ways to recognize an Islamic university student. This ability to identify a particular student is due to the language used as a medium of communication to provide space for students to create, and directly or indirectly provide extensive information about the identity of the speakers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana peranan dari pengembangan e-modul berbasis saintifik menggunakan fliphtml 5 pada materi qurban dan aqiqah mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas IX terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Permasalahan dalam pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional membutuhkan solusi agar pembelajaran dapat dilakukan secara inovatif untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengembangkan E-modul yang memiliki keunggulan dan dapat membantu proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik karena didalamnya terdapat terdapat video pembelajaran, gambar dan audio berupa backsound yang dapat didengarkan dari halaman awal hingga akhir. Selain itu e-modul mudah dibawa kemana saja, dan menghemat biaya. Soal latihan yang ada pada e-modul dapat mempermudah siswa mengethui kemampuannya. Subjek penelitian yaitu 1 orang ahli dalam pembelajaran fiqih, 1 orang ahli media pembelajaran, 1 orang ahli teknologi pendidikan, dan juga 1 orang guru mata pelajaran PAI serta 11 orang siswa unutk uji coba perorangan. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan valid dengan presentase 90,5%. Dengan masing-masing penilaian kelayakan isi 91,25%, kelayakan Penyajian 90,55%, kelayakan bahasa 89%. Dan hasil uji coba diperoleh 90,18%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan e-modul dalam pembelajaran dapat meninkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX.

Abstract

This assistance is carried out with the aim of making it easier for students to memorize the Al-Quran. This assistance is motivated by the fact that there are still many students lacking in reciting Al-Qur'an verses which are not in accordance with the correct recitation rules. This mentoring is to help students memorize verses of the Al-Qur'an in the Tahfidz extracurricular program, especially juz 30. The method used in this mentoring is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) strategy. The method for implementing this assistance is the Jibril Method. Jibril's method is the right method among the many methods of memorizing the Koran. Jibril's method is talqin-taqlid (imitation), students imitate their teacher's reading where the teacher's position is as a learning resource, carried out by the teacher starting to read a piece of verse then continuing with students repeating the reading read by the teacher first. The results of mentoring using the Jibril method show that: (1) Increase students' ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an. (2) Increase students' understanding in memorizing their memorization. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of youth family development activities in developing youth in KB Pesona Indah Bukit Gado-Gado Village, South Padang District. The type of research is qualitative, data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Research informants, Head of Bukit Gado-Gado Village, Youth Family Development Group, Parents who have Teenagers and Adolescents. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal that the role of the BKR Group in developing teenagers is carried out through 3 (three) stages of the role, namely counseling, coaching and guidance to parents of teenagers which is then continued to teenagers.
