Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the morphological characteristics of ornamental plant species in the home garden in Plaju Ulu Village, Palembang City, has been carried out from March to June 2021, aiming to determine the morphological characteristics of ornamental plants in Plaju Ulu Village, Palembang City. This study uses a descriptive survey method by exploring the village area as many as 3 RT. Observations were made by looking directly at the ornamental plants found and then recorded, photographed and then described morphologically. The results obtained 2 classes, 21 orders, 24 families, 36 genera and 36 species of ornamental plants. The species obtained had roots (Radix) with a fibrous root system (Radix adventicia) and tap (Radix primaria). The stem has a wet stem structure and woody shrubs and pseudo stems that are modified into rhizomes. Leaves are heart-shaped, shield, oblong, sword, lanceolate, elongated, triangular, ovoid, round and asymmetrical. Flowers have a single flower structure and compound flowers, cobs, bunches, umbrellas, grains, pots and cups. The fruit structure is a single true fruit dry, box fruit, buni fruit, bracket fruit, kendaga fruit and fleshy pseudo fruit. Accessory organs consist of tubers and spines. Keywords: Ornamental plants, Morphological characteristics.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji morfometri beberapa varietas tanaman padi ( Oryza sativa L . ) di Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyusin telah dilakukan dari Bulan Maret sampai Juni 2021. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode observasi (pengamatan langsung ke lapangan), pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara P urposive S memperkuatpada satu petak areal tanaman padi di setiap areal varietas padi. Parameter pengamatan pada penelitian ini meliputi morfologi akar, daun, batang, bunga dan buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem perakaran padi adalah, rata-rata jumlah cabang akar dalam satu batang varietas tanaman padi serabutan 41 - 80 cabang akar. Batang terdapat persamaan pada bentuk batang yaitu berbentuk, pada rata-rata ruas batang berkisar 4 - 6 ruas per-batang dengan rata-rata tinggi batang berkisar 59,8 - 106,2 cm, rata-rata diameter batang berkisar 0,54 mm - 0,74mm. Daun memiliki sirkum scriptioberbentuk pita berwarna dengan rata-rata jumlah daun hijau berkisar 4 - 6 helai, rata-rata permukaan daun berkisar 31,5 cm - 55,1 cm, tepi daun rata, daun meruncing dan pertulangan daun sejajar. Malai menemukan 1 per-batang, dengan rata-rata panjang malai berkisar 21,1 - 30 cm, dan rata-rata buah per-malai berkisar 87 - 218 buah. Buah berbentuk ramping panjang, ramping, sedang panjang, sedang, sampai ramping, berwarna kuning bersih hingga berwarna hitam keabu-abuan, dengan rata-rata diameter 25 - 28 mm, rata-rata panjang 7,9 - 10,3 mm, dan rata-rata berat buah 1,11 – 1,49 gram. Kata kunci : Oryza sativa, M orfometri, V arietas

Abstract

Bertanam hidroponik saat ini sedang booming di masyarakat, sebagai usaha menyiasati keterbatasan lahan. Agar keberhasilan tercapai, bertanam secara hidroponik dapat menggunakan berbagai teknik, salah satunya dengan teknik yang sederhana yaitu menggunakan system NFT. Untuk mengenalkan teknologi hidroponik dengan system NFT ini, dilakukan pelatihan kepada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong, dengan mengenalkan konsep dasar system NFT, yaitu dengan mengalirkan larutan nutrisi ke dalam rangkaian pipa yang diisi bibit yang disemai di atas rockwool sebagai media tanam. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui lima tahapan yaitu penyiapan rangkaian NFT, penyemaian, penyiapan nutrisi, pemindahan tanaman ke instalasi dan pemeliharaan.Hasil kegiatan diperoleh hasil bahwa siswa terampil melaksanakan tahapan-tahapan kegiatan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik bertanam secara hidroponik menggunakan system NFT sangat baik untuk dikembangkan di kalangan siswa SMA, sebagai penerapan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan kewirausahaan menghadapi dunia kerja.

Abstract

The research to analysis the morphometric of rice fruit was carried out till April to November 2021, with the aim of studying the morphometric of rice fruit planted in community in Pulau Rimau District, Banyuasin Regency. Sampling was done by purposive on one plot in each area of rice varieties. Parameters observed in this study include the morphometric of rice fruit from 8 varieties, namely Inpari 32 HDB, Black Ketan, Cimelati, Ciasem, IR 42, Ciherang, IR 64 and Mapan 05. Morphometric was carried out by measuring the length and diameter of the fruit using a caliper with a caliper. clamping the ends of each rice variety, the width (diameter) was measured using a caliper at the center of the fruit for each rice variety on 50 rice plants per variety. The weight was weighed using an analytical balance. The results showed that structure of fruit are slender, long to short and medium slender. Fruit colours are yellow to grayish black, with diameter of 25 - 28 mm, an length of 7.9 - 10.3 mm, and weight is 1.11 - 1.49 grams

Abstract

This paper explained heavy metals and chemical properties from the Cisadane River in Tangerang City. A survey method was used to determine the place for sampling the test material. Water measurement is carried out in situ and laboratory tests. Data retrieval was done by purposive sampling determining three observation stations, namely in the Taman Gajah Tunggal park area (station1), Babakan Cikokol residential area (station 2), and Karawaci paper mill area (station 3). The analysis was carried out exactly using analysis. Namely, analysis carried out in the laboratory. The parameters observed were COD, phosphate, DO, BOD, pH. Results of this study informed the water quality in the Cisadane City river did not meet Class II Water Quality Standards based on Government Regulation Number 82, the year 2001. The COD content only meets class II water quality standards at stations 1 and 3. BOD and phosphate content is high and exceeds class II water quality standards. Heavy metal content still meets the water quality standard threshold with a value of Cd less than 0.01 mg/L, Cu less than 0.02 mg/L, Pb less than 0.03mg/L, and Cr less than 0.05mg/L. Zn content exceeds the water quality standard threshold at station three and meets water quality standards at stations 1 and 2 with a value of less than 0.05mg/L.

Abstract

AbstractResearch on the Morphological characteristics of fruit plants in Suka Damai Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, has been carried out from April 2021 to June 2021, aims to examine the types of horticultural plants through the morphological characteristics of roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit. This study uses a descriptive survey method by exploring the village area as many as 3 RT. Observations were made by looking directly at fruit horticultural plants and then recorded, photographed and then described the morphology. The results obtained 17 species are fruit plants. The species obtained had roots (Radix) with a fibrous root system (Radix adventicia) and a tap (Radix primaria). Stem morphology (Caulis) includes stem types, namely wet stems, grasses and woody. Leaf morphology (Folium) consists of single leaf (Folium simplex) and compound leaf (Folium compositum) with leaf structures including leaf shape (Circumscription) elongated (Oblangus), ovoid (Ovatus), lanceolate (Lanceolatus), sword (Ensiformis), triangle (Triangularis), heart (Cordatus), delta (Deltoideus), ribbon (Ligulatus), jorong (Ovalis). Flower morphology The flower morphology (Flos) is of single flower type (Planta unifloris), and compound flowers (Anthotaxis), which are found in the leaf axils (Flos axillaris) and leaf tips (Flos terminalis). The morphology of fruit (Fructus) was in the types of pseudo fruit (single pseudo, double pseudo, compound pseudo) and true fruit (buni fruit, stone fruit, box fruit, pod). Keywords: horticultural crops, plant morphology

Abstract

This article  was the result of  a research of literature study sources and impact of microplastic in the marine environment. Plastic debris could make microplasric caused by ultraviolet and give some negative impact for marine environment.   Plastic debris in marine environment has come from industrial and fishing activities (human activities). All of marine environment in the world has contaminated by microplastic, microplastic will give negative impact for marine biota, recent study inform that turtle and fish have high microplastic content in both them.plastics industries should take responsibility for the end-of-life oftheir products by introducing plastic recycling or upgrading programmers.

Abstract

Bioremediation is one of high value and low-cost technologies to solve environmental degradation. In this paper, we made a systematic review of bioremediation utilization for wastewater treatment. This paper aims to describe the current bioremediation technologies, potential microorganisms involved, recent bioremediation treatment research to solve environmental damage and economic comparation of bioremediations processes. The regulatory of heavy metals limitation in drinking water is also reported in this paper. Thus, this paper described comprehensive information on bioremediation in the world and this future research direction.

Abstract

Research of water quality on Musi river was conducted from April to November 2020, aims to compare the quality of the Musi river water as parameters of chemical, physical and biological in different types of land use. This study used a survey method by determining the sampling of test materials and measuring the water  quality  which carried out by purposive sampling  adjusted to land use. The sampling point for domesticl areas is in the area of Kelurahan 1 Ulu (station 1). The sampling point as  sands mining area is in the area of Tangga Takat Village (station 2). The third land use is in Kelurahan 13 Ulu (station 3). Data analysis in the laboratory includes chemical parameters (DO, COD and BOD), physical (TDS, brightness) and biological based on the content of Escherichia coli bacteria. The results showed that the chemical quality of water in the housing and fish catchment areas generally met class II water quality standards, but did not meet the water quality standards for sand mining areas. Physically, the water quality in the three areas still meets the water quality standards, although the TDS content, temperature range, brightness is not good in the sand mining area. Based on biological parameters, all areas are classified as polluted with E. coli content that is more than 100 individu/ 100 ml of water, so it is not suitable for consumption and requires special handling for use in everyday life.

Abstract

Research on Stomata Structure in the Poaceae Family in Kota Bumi Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, was carried out from April to May 2022. The purpose of the study was to examine the stomata structure on the adaxial (top) and abaxial (bottom) leaves of the Poaceae family. This study uses a descriptive survey method by going directly to the research location exploring the area of ​​Kota Bumi Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Sampling was done by direct observation observing the stomata structure of the adaxial (top) and abaxial (bottom) leaves of rice plants (Oryza sativa.), corn (Zea mays), reeds (Imperata cylindrica), sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) and lemongrass ( Cymbopogon citratus). The results of the study found that 5 species had stomata located on the surface of the leaf Adaxia (top) and Abaxial (bottom) leaf. Amphistomatic type of stomatal spread. The shape of each guard cell is in the shape of a dumbbell. The number of neighboring cells is 2 neighboring cells. Both have the type of Stomata Graminae, the shape of the epidermal cells is elongated, grooved, rounded, parallel elongated, and grooved
