Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the morphological characteristics of ornamental plant species in the home garden in Plaju Ulu Village, Palembang City, has been carried out from March to June 2021, aiming to determine the morphological characteristics of ornamental plants in Plaju Ulu Village, Palembang City. This study uses a descriptive survey method by exploring the village area as many as 3 RT. Observations were made by looking directly at the ornamental plants found and then recorded, photographed and then described morphologically. The results obtained 2 classes, 21 orders, 24 families, 36 genera and 36 species of ornamental plants. The species obtained had roots (Radix) with a fibrous root system (Radix adventicia) and tap (Radix primaria). The stem has a wet stem structure and woody shrubs and pseudo stems that are modified into rhizomes. Leaves are heart-shaped, shield, oblong, sword, lanceolate, elongated, triangular, ovoid, round and asymmetrical. Flowers have a single flower structure and compound flowers, cobs, bunches, umbrellas, grains, pots and cups. The fruit structure is a single true fruit dry, box fruit, buni fruit, bracket fruit, kendaga fruit and fleshy pseudo fruit. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji morfometri beberapa varietas tanaman padi ( Oryza sativa L . ) di Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyusin telah dilakukan dari Bulan Maret sampai Juni 2021. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode observasi (pengamatan langsung ke lapangan), pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara P urposive S memperkuatpada satu petak areal tanaman padi di setiap areal varietas padi. Parameter pengamatan pada penelitian ini meliputi morfologi akar, daun, batang, bunga dan buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem perakaran padi adalah, rata-rata jumlah cabang akar dalam satu batang varietas tanaman padi serabutan 41 - 80 cabang akar. Batang terdapat persamaan pada bentuk batang yaitu berbentuk, pada rata-rata ruas batang berkisar 4 - 6 ruas per-batang dengan rata-rata tinggi batang berkisar 59,8 - 106,2 cm, rata-rata diameter batang berkisar 0,54 mm - 0,74mm. Daun memiliki sirkum scriptioberbentuk pita berwarna dengan rata-rata jumlah daun hijau berkisar 4 - 6 helai, rata-rata permukaan daun berkisar 31,5 cm - 55,1 cm, tepi daun rata, daun meruncing dan pertulangan daun sejajar. Malai menemukan 1 per-batang, dengan rata-rata panjang malai berkisar 21,1 - 30 cm, dan rata-rata buah per-malai berkisar 87 - 218 buah. Buah berbentuk ramping panjang, ramping, sedang panjang, sedang, sampai ramping, berwarna kuning bersih hingga berwarna hitam keabu-abuan, dengan rata-rata diameter 25 - 28 mm, rata-rata panjang 7,9 - 10,3 mm, dan rata-rata berat buah 1,11 – 1,49 gram. Kata kunci : Oryza sativa, M orfometri, V arietas

Abstract

AbstractResearch on the Morphological characteristics of fruit plants in Suka Damai Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, has been carried out from April 2021 to June 2021, aims to examine the types of horticultural plants through the morphological characteristics of roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit. This study uses a descriptive survey method by exploring the village area as many as 3 RT. Observations were made by looking directly at fruit horticultural plants and then recorded, photographed and then described the morphology. The results obtained 17 species are fruit plants. The species obtained had roots (Radix) with a fibrous root system (Radix adventicia) and a tap (Radix primaria). Stem morphology (Caulis) includes stem types, namely wet stems, grasses and woody. Leaf morphology (Folium) consists of single leaf (Folium simplex) and compound leaf (Folium compositum) with leaf structures including leaf shape (Circumscription) elongated (Oblangus), ovoid (Ovatus), lanceolate (Lanceolatus), sword (Ensiformis), triangle (Triangularis), heart (Cordatus), delta (Deltoideus), ribbon (Ligulatus), jorong (Ovalis). Flower morphology The flower morphology (Flos) is of single flower type (Planta unifloris), and compound flowers (Anthotaxis), which are found in the leaf axils (Flos axillaris) and leaf tips (Flos terminalis). The morphology of fruit (Fructus) was in the types of pseudo fruit (single pseudo, double pseudo, compound pseudo) and true fruit (buni fruit, stone fruit, box fruit, pod). Keywords: horticultural crops, plant morphology

Abstract

Research on Stomata Structure in the Poaceae Family in Kota Bumi Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, was carried out from April to May 2022. The purpose of the study was to examine the stomata structure on the adaxial (top) and abaxial (bottom) leaves of the Poaceae family. This study uses a descriptive survey method by going directly to the research location exploring the area of ​​Kota Bumi Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Sampling was done by direct observation observing the stomata structure of the adaxial (top) and abaxial (bottom) leaves of rice plants (Oryza sativa.), corn (Zea mays), reeds (Imperata cylindrica), sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) and lemongrass ( Cymbopogon citratus). The results of the study found that 5 species had stomata located on the surface of the leaf Adaxia (top) and Abaxial (bottom) leaf. Amphistomatic type of stomatal spread. The shape of each guard cell is in the shape of a dumbbell. The number of neighboring cells is 2 neighboring cells. Abstract

Research that examines the morphological characteristics of medicinal plants in Prabujaya Village, Prabumulih City has been carried out from April 2022 to May 2022. This study uses a survey method. Direct retrieval explores the area of ​​Prabujaya Village, East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City. Sampling was done by direct observation, by looking at the list of Indonesian medicinal plants and the results of direct interviews with the community. The results of the study found that there were medicinal plants from the Spermatophyta divisio, consisting of 2 classes, 12 orders, 12 families, 18 genera and 18 species. The root morphology type (Radix) has taproot and fibrous root. The stem morphology (Caulis) is in the form of pseudo stem, woody stem, wet stem and grass stem. Leaf morphology (Folium) is lanceolate (lanceolatus), elongated (oblongus), ovoid (ovatus), ribbon (ligulatus) and oblong (ovalis). Flower morphology (FLOs) includes single interest, compound interest bunches, compound interest, grain compound interest, pseudo compound interest, umbrella compound interest, strand compound interest. Fruit morphology (Fructus) includes true fruit types of buni fruit, citrus fruit, kendaga fruit, compound stone fruit, dry single true fruit, compound true fruit, and pseudo true fruit. The parts of the organs used as medicine are leaves, rhizomes, roots, stems, flowers, and fruit.
