Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika pada peserta didik kelas VIII MTs DDI Lombo’na karena peserta didik kurang memahami penjelasan yang diberikan oleh guru, sehingga peserta didik terasa jenuh untuk belajar. Sehingga peneliti mengadakan penelitian di MTs DDI Lombo’na dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII sebanyak 15 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap yakni Perencanaan (planning), Tindakan (Action), Observasi dan evaluasi (Observation and Evaluation), Serta Reflaksi (Reflection). Dimana Siklus I dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan dan siklus II dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan, pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik dilihat dari skor rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I adalah 61,90 menjadi 69,60 pada siklus II dan standar deviasi peserta didik pada siklus I adalah 8,02 menjadi 7,55 pada siklus II, sedangkan peserta didik yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 5 orang atau 33,33% meningkat disiklus II sebanyak 13 orang atau 86,67%. Sedangkan pada lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik rata –rata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I ke siklus II. Dalam hal ini terjadi peningkatan hasil peserta didik dalam belajar matematika baik pada saat pembelajaran maupun dalam kelompoknya. Dari hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajar project based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII MTs DDI Lombo’na.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the use of audio-visual media on the learning process, 2) students' writing skills, 3) the effect of using audio-visual media on students' writing skills. The type of research used is experimental. The population in this study were all fourth grade students UPT SDN Tile-Tile No. 9 Kepulauan Selayar, totaling 54 students. The sample used in this study was 54 people who were divided into the experimental group and the control group. The data obtained were analyzed by normality and homogeneity tests which showed that the research data were normally distributed and homogeneous and continued with hypothesis testing using t-test. The results of the study show: 1) The teacher has carried out learning using audio-visual media very well. Similarly, student activity in the learning process is very good, 2) students' writing skills have increased from the middle category to the high category, 3) there is a significant effect of using audio visual media on writing skills.

Abstract

The Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model has been widely applied in various disciplines, including physics learning at the high school level. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the STAD model in improving physics learning outcomes through literature studies from various relevant studies. The results of the analysis show that the STAD model is able to increase student involvement in learning, strengthen conceptual understanding, and improve learning outcomes significantly compared to conventional methods. The advantage of STAD lies in the structure of group cooperation that encourages active interaction between students, thus creating a more dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. In addition, this model also contributes to improving students' social skills. However, the implementation of STAD requires careful planning and support from teachers so that learning can run effectively. Thus, the STAD model is recommended as one of the effective approaches in physics learning in high school.
