Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Head of Toraja Church and Church Health Foundation tend to maintain religious social function on management of Elim hospital. Meanwhile, low income and high operational costs followed by limited funding support from donors forced managers to think of their economic functions. There is lack of developing strategy, while hospital management still follow strategy set by Zending at the beginning of hospital establishment.Aim: Providing information as comparison to determine strategy from re-evaluation of the old strategy to decision making. To provide comparison information to determine vision, mission, objectives and strategy of Elim Hospital.Method: The type of research was observasional by survey approach. Evidence, data and information are obtained through observation, indepth interview using interview guideline and checklist. Data obtained from head of church and foundation, hospital director and document.Result and Discussion: About 38% of Toraja Church leaders expect hospital revenue will be bigger than expenditure. About 62% believe that hospital income should be equal with expenditure. The church leaders expect to develop public perception related to excelence service (23%), but 77% did not want this. About 31% believe that expenditure is expected financed by owner’s equity and loans.Conclusion: Hospital management based on economic principle is only expected by minority of leader, especially hospital director; while the majority of Toraja Church Leaders and foundation did not expected transformation of hospital management based on economic principle.Keyword: Evaluation, Paradigm, Economic Function, Social Function.ABSTRACTLatar belakang: Dikalangan Pimpinan Gereja Toraja dan Yayasan Kesehatan Gereja Toraja cenderung mempertahankan fungsi sosial keagamaan dalam pengelolaan rumah sakit Elim. Sementara, rendahnya pendapatan dan tingginya biaya operasional serta terbatasnya dukungan dana dari donor memaksa pengelola memikirkan fungsi ekonomi. Langkah- langkah ke arah pengembangan kurang diperhatikan dan berusaha mengelolah rumah sakit dengan menggunakan strategi yang ditetapkan oleh Zending pada awal berdirinya.Tujuan: Sebagai informasi pembanding bagi pengambil keputusan dalam memilih strategi guna menilai kembali strategi masa lalu Pihak Gereja melalui Yayasan sebagai pemilik rumah sakit Elim memperoleh informasi pembanding dalam menentukan visi, misi, tujuan dan strategi rumah sakit Elim.Metode: Penelitian ini adalah jenis observasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan survey. Data, fakta dan informasi diperoleh melalui pengamatan, dan wawancara mendalam dengan menggunakan pedoman pertanyaan semacam chek-list. Data diperoleh melalui Pimpinan Gereja & Yayasan, Direktur, dan dokumen.Hasil: Dari hasil penelitian, pandangan Pimpinan Gereja Toraja, 38% menginginkan pendapatan rumah sakit lebih besar dari pengeluaran, agar rumah sakit memperoleh laba. 62% pendapatan rumah sakit sama dengan pengeluaran. Dalam hal citra didinginkan, 23% menginginkan agar membangun persepsi masyarakat akan keunggulan pelayanan 77% tidak menginginkan demikian. Dalam hal penciptaan produk baru, 77% tidak menginginkan modifikasi bentuk pelayanan baru. Kemudian pembelanjaan kegiatan, 31% menginginkan apabila pembelanjaan dibiayai dari modal sendiri dan pinjaman. Namun 69% tidak sesuai harapannya.Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, mayoritas pimpinan Gereja Toraja, Yayasan tidak menginginkan pengelolaan rumah sakit Elim berdasakan fungsi ekonomi. Minoritas pimpinan, khususnya direktur menghapkan pengelolaan rumah sakit Elim berdasarkan fungsi ekonomi.Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, paradigma, fungsi ekonomi, fungsi sosial

Abstract

Background: The quality of nursing services is one of the factors in determining the quality of health services and is a determinant of the representation of health service institutions in the community. Ken Saras Hospital is one of the private hospitals in Bergas which provides comprehensive advanced referral individual health services. The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the challenges in providing the best nursing services for patients. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the quality of nurse services in accordance with patient expectations of nursing services provided by Ken Saras Hospital. Method This research is descriptive analytic with the type of observational research using survey methods. The technique for taking the number of respondents will be determined based on the Slovin formula. Discussion: The results showed that the service quality of nurses based on 5 aspects of the assessment was very good. This can be seen from the patient's answers stating that the quality of nurse services is good in indicators, tangible/physical evidence (94.4%), reliability (100%), empathy/caring (98.8%), responsiveness/responsiveness (100%), and assurance (96.1%). Conclusion Based on the results of this study, the quality of service provided by nurses at Ken Saras Hospital in these 5 aspects indicates that the quality of service provided by nurses at Ken Saras Hospital is good and satisfactory.

Abstract

Kepuasan pasien merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat dijadikan acuan dalam meningkatkan pelayanan berkualitas di rumah sakit. Salah satu bidang layanan di rumah sakit adalah layanan keperawatan. Kepuasan pasien terhadap kinerja perawat di sebuah rumah sakit penting dalam memberikan gambaran keseluruhan tentang kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, khususnya di ruang rawat inap. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap kinerja perawat selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Rumah Sakit Umum Elim Rantepao, Kabupaten Toraja Utara, Sulawesi Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Elim Rantepao, pada bulan September 2021 hingga bulan Oktober 2021. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 90 pasien laki-laki dan perempuan yang sedang dirawat inap di ruang Lavender, ruang Mawar, dan ruang Asoka. Kuisioner Tingkat Kepuasan pasien dari (Nursalam, 2014) digunakan didalam penelitian ini untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap kinerja perawat selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan pasien rawat inap terhadap kinerja perawat selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Rumah Sakit Umum Elim Rantepao dinilai berdasarkan lima dimensi kepuasan, yaitu Tangibility (bukti fisik), dimensi Reliability (handal), dimensi Responsiveness (tanggap), dimensi Assurance (jaminan) dan dimensi Empaty (perhatian), dengan persentase tertinggi sebesar 72,2%.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by dengue virus infection which is still a public health problem in Indonesia, including in the Seputih Raman area, Central Lampung. The disease can affect all age groups, but most are under 15 years of age. Based on a preliminary study, I observed that DHF was caused by the lack of public support for the prevention of DHF. The lack of cadre personnel who play an active role in preventing DHF, as well as the role of puskesmas health workers in providing public health education about the dangers of DHF cause a lack of attention to this infectious disease. This study aims to determine the effect of education in improving the behavior of Seputih Raman Christian Middle School students for the prevention of dengue. The method used is experimental with pre-test and post-test designs. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling. Data analysis technique using t-test was conducted to analyze the influence of independent and dependent variables. data collection using a questionnaire, namely written questions in the form of a checklist to determine the disease of dengue and how to eradicate mosquito nests. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the results show that there is an effect of education about PSN on improving behavior after being given PSN education on DHF prevention behavior by Seputih Raman Christian Junior High School students. The results of the respondent's knowledge variable seem to have increased with a pre-test with a value of 3.998 and a post-test with a value of 8.852. The results of the study of the attitude variable the pre-test value of 2.232 is smaller than the post-test value of 6.576. From the research that has been done, the researcher hopes that students will continue to carry out wamatic activities, in order to reduce mosquito larvae in the school environment.

Abstract

Abstrak                                                                              Kegagalan fungsi ginjal pada Gagal Ginjal Kronis (GGK) mengakibatkan ketidakmampuan tubuh membuang sisa metabolisme. Pasien GGK diharuskan melakukan hemodialisis dan pengaturan asupan nutrisi untuk mempertahankan kondisi kesehatannya. Kurangnya pemahaman dan kepatuhan pasien dalam melakukan program terapi dapat menyebabkan kondisi kegawatdaruratan. Oleh karena itu discharge planning menjadi sangat penting bagi pasien GGK. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui manajemen discharge planning pada klien dengan gagal ginjal kronis di RSUD Kota Salatiga. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah embeded single case study. Terdapat dua unit analisis dalam studi ini, yaitu perawat dan pasien. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan studi dokumentasi discharge planning. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis  menggunakan teknik pencocokan pola. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan, dimulai pada Februari sampai April 2018 di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Salatiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran perawat yang paling penting dalam pelaksanaan discharge planning adalah peran educator, kemudian peran sebagai pelaksana discharge planning dan peran menegerial oleh kepala ruang.

Abstract

In the elderly, there is a period of decline in some aspects, related to declining inpsychological, social, and physical conditions. Effects of reduction physical condition, elderly are sensitive to some degenerative diseases. The nursing homeisan old residence that is voluntarily or submitted by the family to be taking care of the needs of which management can be done by government and private. Falling is the incident not realized by someone sitting on the floor or on the ground orinalower place. In Indonesia, from 115 nursing home resident as much as 30 elderly or around 43.47% who has a fall incident. Purpose this research is to know safety management in the nursing home of Salib Putih to risk of fall in elderly. The method this research used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The way of choosing the subject is done by Purpose Sampling. Data completion technique in this research is by way of in-depth interview. The results of data analysis in this research, obtained 3 themes related to environmental safety management of incident in elderly at Salib Putih Nursing home, i.e.:  Falling Causes in Elderly, Nursing home Environmental Setting to avoid falls in elderly, and the role of housing board nursing home to minimizing the risk of falling in elderly. The conclussion is still a lack of environmental safety management at Salib Putih Salatiga Nursing Home to the risk of falling in the elderly. The causes from the thing are lack of supervision of housing board nursing home. In addition to environmental management at Salib Putih nursing home, it hasn't fully fill standardization of nursing home in general, so it still causes accidents to the elderly.

Abstract

The increase in virus covid-19 happened so fast in Indonesia in 2020 resulted in the community to experience a change in behavior as a society should pay attention to the protocols of health that has already been applied as well as maintain personal hygiene. But not yet fully community care about the cleanliness of her. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the knowledge society in Kecamatan Argomulyo Village Ledok Salatiga related to personal hygiene in the prevention of transmission of the virus covid-19. Methods in this study using the technique of observational and survey a descriptive analytic. This study will illustrate how the knowledge society in Kecamatan Argomulyo Village Ledok Salatiga related to personal hygiene in the prevention of transmission of the virus covid-19. The results in this study indicate that as many as 57% of the People Argamas Eastern RW 09 Salatiga already understand and as much as 43% have yet to understand the related knowledge about covid-19. Conclusion in this research that the community Argamas Eastern RW 09 has a good level of knowledge but there are some things that need more attention that is about the personal hygiene that must be enhanced in order to prevent the occurrence of transmission of the virus covid-19.

Abstract

Background Patients that participated in BPJS have voiced several grievances about the healthcare services offered to them, particularly in hospitals. Patients frequently express dissatisfaction with the time, availability of inpatient rooms, care, and nurse services provided to BPJS patients because they fall short of their expectations. Location for analyzing the association between the Salatiga Regional General Hospital's inpatient room's nursing services quality and BPJS patient satisfaction. Descriptive correlation research design cross sectional is the methodology employed. The population of this study, which was carried out in August 2022, included inpatient BPJS patients. 100 participants made up the sample, which was drawn using the incidental sampling technique. Patients were given questionnaires to complete, which were used to collect data. The information was then processed and analyzed using the Spearmen Rank. According to the study's findings, up to 78 (78%) respondents indicated they were very satisfied with the nursing services received, and up to 68 (68%) respondents felt the same. The correlation coefficient value of 0.875 indicates that there is a very strong association between service quality and patient satisfaction. Pvalue = 0.001 0.05 (P ) indicates that this relationship is significant. The level of satisfaction of BPJS patients receiving inpatient care at Salatiga Regional General Hospital is correlated with the caliber of nursing services provided. The amount of patient satisfaction rises in direct proportion to service quality.
