Abstract

This research studied the effect of organizational climate, spiral positive affect in workgroup, and spirituality at work toward occupational commitment using field survey research method. 90 subjects were involved and sampled by using cluster sampling method. The variables were assessed with organizational climate, spiral positive affect in workgroup, spirituality at work, and occupational commitment Likert-like scales. Multiple linier regression analyses indicated that organizational climate (X1), spiral positive affect in workgroup (X2), and spirituality at work (X3) have 38,6 % simultaneous contributions on occupational commitment (R2=0.386; F: 18.031). But only spiral positive affect in workgroup can solely predict occupational commitment signifcantly (t = 2.016; p=0.047< 0.05). These findings suggest that despite the influence of organizational climate and individual spirituality at work, experiencing pleasure of working in group/ team foster greater employee commitment.

Abstract

This experimental research was conducted to determine the influence of DISC personality types and types of advertising presentation (heuristic and sysematic) to consumers buying intention of “M.G Product this study aimed to determine how the effect of the DISC personality types associated with the formation of consumer behavior (consumer response to a new product). Subjects were 70 students of psychology, faculty of political and social science Universitas Brawijaya Malang. The experimental design used was mathcing group design. Treatments conducted in the form of “Mr. G” advertising presentation exposure designed in two modes of persuasion, i.e the heuristic advertising mode (experimental  group 1) and systematic advertising mode (experimental group 2). The result of statistical analysis using factorial anova shown there is no significant differences between each of D,I,S,C personality types with – heurisitic and systematic- type of advertising presentation in the buying intention of new products “Mr.G”

Abstract

Internet using in Indonesia has a rapid increase and encourages the misuse of internet using at a workplace named cyberloafing behavior. Work boredom is one important factor to increase cyberloafing behavior. This study was aimed to determine the job boredom role as a predictor employee’s cyberloafing behavior. This research used a quantitative approach. Questionnaires used to collect data about job boredom and cyberloafing behavior and analyzed by a simple regression method. The subjects are 114 administrative employees using a cluster sampling method. The analysis result showed a significance value (p<0, 05), it means the hypothesis from this research accepted, job boredom has a role as a predictor of cyberloafing behavior on X university’s employee. The data result explained job boredom gives influential contribution as much as 11, 1% towards cyberloafing behavior. The study showed that job boredom as a significant variable for predicting employee’s cyberloafing behavior.

Abstract

Masalah utama hipertiensi adalah penyakit kardiovaskular yang disebabkan oleh faktor genetik dan pola makan, yang meningkatkan tekanan darah.pola makan kaya daging merah, dan makanan olahan dapat meningkatkan tekanan darah. Dukungan keluarga pada penderita hipertensi memegang peranan penting dalam menjaga dan mengendalikan tekanan darah agar tidak naik dan berharap tekanan darah kembali normal, didapatkan sebanyak 16 lansia mengalami hipertensi, 7 lansia mengalami pola makan tidak teratur, dan 5 lansia mengalami kurang dukungan keluarga. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pola makan dan dukungan keluarga dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia di Wilayah Semanan RW.04. Desain Penelitian: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain analisis korelasional yaitu Rank Spearman serta pendekatan secara potong lintang (cross sectional) Tekhnik Sampel: Teknik yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Jumlah Sampel: Sampel berjumlah 105 responden. Hasil dan Kesimpulan: berdasarkan hasil uji rank spearman menunjukkan hasil signifikasi 0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti variabel pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar 0,418 atau memiliki hubungan cukup, dan diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,049 (p<0,05) dengan koefesien 0,216 maka disimpulkan bawha hubungan antara variabel dukungan keluarga dengan kejadian hipertensi signifikan atau berarti.

Abstract

Workplace incivility has emerged as a significant psychosocial hazard in various occupational settings. Migrant workers are particularly vulnerable due to linguistic, cultural, and structural challenges. This study examines the relationship between workplace incivility and burnout among Indonesian migrant workers in South Korea. Data were collected from 276 respondents through purposive and snowball sampling, using a quantitative survey design. The Indonesian adaptation of the Workplace Incivility Scale and the Maslach–Trisni Burnout Inventory were employed to measure incivility and burnout. Descriptive analysis indicated that a substantial proportion of participants reported moderate to high levels of both variables. Simple linear regression analysis revealed that workplace incivility significantly and positively predicted burnout levels, accounting for a substantial proportion of the variance (R²=0.879). Pearson correlation analysis further showed that instigated incivility had the strongest association with emotional exhaustion, while supervisor and coworker incivility were significantly correlated with all burnout dimensions. An independent t-test revealed that respondents with children reported higher burnout levels, whereas marital status, age, and prior overseas experience were not significant predictors of burnout. These results demonstrate that interpersonal mistreatment meaningfully contributes to the psychological strain among Indonesian migrant workers. The findings extend empirical evidence on the incivility–burnout link to a new cultural context and highlight the need for transnational labor policies, particularly through collaboration between the Kementerian Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (KP2MI) and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea) to incorporate psychosocial protection, respectful communication, and mental health support into the Employment Permit System (EPS).
