Abstract

Physics learning in schools requires students to carry out practical work in achieving skills competencies. To fulfill practical activities, complete laboratory equipment and Student Worksheets (LKS) are needed. However, practicum tools and Student Worksheets at SMAN 15 Padang schools are still incomplete and inadequate. Therefore, the assisted virtual practicum of the virtual laboratory Student Worksheet is a solution to replace the real lab. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of virtual laboratory LKS in dynamic fluid material and heat temperature of class XI of SMAN 15 Padang. To examine the effectiveness of the virtual laboratory Student Worksheet, a Pre-Experimental Design study was conducted with one-group pretest-posttest design research design. This research was conducted in class XI MIA 1 of SMAN 15 Padang by applying the virtual laboratory Student Worksheet and looking at the effectiveness of the virtual laboratory Student Worksheet in achieving student attitudes, knowledge and skills competencies. Students' attitude competencies are assessed during seven meetings. The competency of student knowledge was analyzed by comparing the value of the pretest and posttest of students using the N-gain test and the correlated t test. Skills competencies are valued at each virtual lab. Based on the research that has been done, spiritual attitude competence, discipline, self-confidence, honesty and student cooperation always increase every meeting, this means that the Student Laboratory Worksheet can change students' attitudes to be better in each learning process. In knowledge competency, there was a significant difference in the pretest and posttest as evidenced by the N-gain value of 0.72 with high criteria, meaning that the difference in values was very significant. In addition, the correlated t test proves that the hypothesis of the effectiveness of the virtual laboratory Student Worksheet is accepted with a value of -13.96 smaller than  ttable at the error rate of 5% and the degree of freedom 30 with a value of 1.697. The results of skills competency research prove that student grades increase every time the experiment is conducted, because students are increasingly proficient in conducting experiments with the help of the virtual laboratory Student Worksheet. Therefore, it is concluded that the virtual laboratory Student Work Sheet is effective for use in dynamic fluid material and heat temperature of class XI of SMAN 15 Padang.

Abstract

Understanding students' concepts of physics are still relatively low. This is because learning is not yet fully accompanied by practical activities, there are no guidelines in the implementation of practicum and the learning model used by teachers is less able to invite and guide students in finding and solving physics problems. To overcome these problems, researchers applied virtual laboratory worksheets through a guided inquiry learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of virtual laboratory worksheets through guided inquiry learning models towards the achievement of competency in class X of Pertiwi 1 High School Padang. This type of research is pre-experimental design with the research design of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in the study was all X MIA classes at Pertiwi 1 High School in Padang academic year 2018/2019. The sample in the X MIA 3 class study was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The assessment instruments used included attitude competencies with observation sheets, knowledge competencies through written tests and skills competencies with performance sheets. Analysis of the data used is regression and correlation tests for knowledge and skills competencies and descriptive for attitude competencies. The results of this study indicate that for attitudinal competence the average student experiences an increase every week. Knowledge competency has increased after being given treatment with a percentage of its influence of 63.77%. While the skills competency percentage effect is 25.13%. So that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the application of virtual laboratory worksheets through a guided inquiry learning model towards the competence of class X students at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang.

Abstract

Physics learning in Curriculum 2013 requires teachers to implement all competencies. Attitude competence attaches to the knowledge competence and skill competence. Knowledge competence is obtained through the process of learning in the classroom, while the skill competence is obtained through practicum activities. The reality in school shows that not all teachers do skill competence such as practicum implementation. This is due to the lack of tools and materials and the unavailability of worksheet that has a scientific approach that can be used as orientation for practicum implementation. One solution that can be done is to develop worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT. The purpose of this research is to determine the validity and practicality of worksheet based on the virtual laboratory through ICT on the material balance of rigid body, elasticity, and static fluid in class XI SMAN 1 Padang. The type of this research  is Research and Development (R&D). The object of this research is worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT on the balance material of rigid body, elasticity, and static fluid. The instrument of data collector used is validation test and practicality test sheet. Data analysis technique used is validity test analysis and  practicality test analysis. Based on the data analysis that has been done, obtained the value of validity and  practicality of product that have been developed. This product has a validity value of 90.44. The value of product practicality according to the teacher is 88.46 whereas according to the student is 87.14. This value indicates that worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT is valid and practical use in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility or properness of student worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT in studying quantity and vector among student in tenth grade of senior high school. In order to reach this goal, the R&D research is held which consist of: potential problem, data collection, product design, design validation, and product testing  or product trial. Data are analyzed by using technique of statistical graph. The object in this research is virtual laboratory based-student worksheet through ICT. The result of data analysis show that : the average validity test is 90 in valid category,  the average practicality test of teacher is 86 in practical category, and the average practicality test of student is 83 in practical category. With those results, the virtual laboratory based-student worksheet through ICT valued as proper to be used during the learning process of quantity and vector for the tenth grade student in senior high school.

Abstract

Tenaga pendidik yang selanjutnya kita sebut guru, pada hakikatnya dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang meliputi empat kompetensi yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi kepribadian dan kompetensi sosial. Pada kompetensi professional, guru diharuskan menguasai bidang yang diasuhnya dan dapat melakukan perbaikan terus menerus sebagai bentuk usaha peningkatan kompetensinya. Salah satu usahanya adalah dengan melakukan kegiatan penelitian dan menghasilkan karya-karya ilmiah. Pemerintah sendiri juga memfasilitasi dan memotivasi guru untuk secara konsisten dan berkala mengembangkan kompetensi ini, salah satunya adalah mengharuskan guru menghasilkan karya ilmiah sebagai persyaratan pada kegiatan kompetisi guru seperti kegiatan guru berprestasi, guru teladan dan sebagainya. Selain itu, untuk kenaikan pangkat tertentu sekarang juga diwajibkan bagi guru-guru menghasilkan karya ilimiah maupun membuat Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) di kelas yang diajarnya yang tak lain adalah untuk menghasilkan SDM guru yang terbaik. Fokus Bimbingan Teknis yang diberikan yaitu berupa pendampingan dalam membuat proposal, item penilaian untuk pelaksanaan PTK dan pembuatan artikel dari hasil pelaksanaan PTK. Data awal dari subjek yang diteliti yaitu Guru IPA SMP Kota Solok dan Kabupaten Solok memperlihatkan sebagian besar subjek menemukan kendala dalam penulisan proposal PTK (88%) maupun dalam melaksanakan PTK (70%), sebagian besar belum pernah melaksanakan PTK (61%) serta sebagian besar belum pernah mempublikasikan hasil PTK (82%). Sisi positifnya adalah sebagian besar subjek telah pernah mendapatkan pelatihan terkait PTK (85%) dan merasa kurang dari pelatihan yang telah mereka terima (67%). Dari kondisi tersebut terlihat perlunya diberikan Bimbingan Teknis bagi subjek agar pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kompetensi subjek, terkhususnya kompetensi professional. Setelah diberikan pembekalan, pendampingan dan pembinaan terhadap subjek yang diteliti, terlihat perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Sebanyak 50% guru mendapatkan peningkatan motivasi dalam melaksanakan PTK, 45% guru telah mengalami penngkatan dalam kemampuan berpikir, 59% guru telah dapat menyelesaikan kendala yang dihadapainya terkait PTK, 45% guru menilai kreativitasnya meningkat setelah mengikuti kegiatan bimbingan teknis serta 59% guru merasakan terciptanya bentuk kolaborasi antar sesama guru matapelajaran IPA dalam melaksanakan PTK.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of implementation virtual labs  through discovery learning in senior high school. The population of the study was students of  SMAN 12 Padang and the sample was two classes with cluster random sampling technique. Students were divided into two groups: experimental and control group. The research instrument used for competency of attitude is observation sheet, for competence of knowledge is multiple choice and for skill competence using working assessment. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that for the three competencies shows the results that the experimental class is better than the control class.
