Abstract

The scholarship selection process of Politeknik Negeri Samarinda are constraints on the decision-making process. This is because there is no objective method to determine quickly and precisely. To assist in the determination of the set someone worthy scholarship in this study will be design DSS (Decision Support System) with model of Multi-Criteria Decision Making. The method used is the method Profile Matching. Profile Matching methods have been able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case meant that alternatives are eligible to receive scholarships based on the criteria specified. Research carried out by finding the weights for each sub-aspect, then carried ranking process that will determine the optimal alternative, the best students will be considered by decisionmakersto get a scholarship. Proses seleksi beasiswa di Politeknik Negeri Samarinda banyak terdapat kendala pada proses pengambilan keputusan. Hal ini dikarenakan belum ada metode objektif yang dapat memutuskan dengan cepat dan tepat. Untuk membantu penentuan dalam menetapkan seseorang yang layak menerima beasiswa maka dalam penelitian ini akan didesainkan DSS (Decision Support System) dengan model Multi Criteria Decision Making. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Profile Matching. Metode Profile Matching dipilih karena mampu menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu yang berhak menerima beasiswa berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap sub aspek, kemudian dilakukan proses perankingan yang akan menentukan alternatif yang optimal, yaitu mahasiswa terbaik yang akan dipertimbangkan oleh pengambil keputusan untuk mendapatkan beasiswa.

Abstract

The branding of a product or service is now more creative. One of them is using video. The right video can give potential buyers a positive perspective. However, there are obstacles in making attractive branding with videos, namely the ability to package attractive videos such as editing sound and images, dubbing and adding text. Another obstacle is the distribution of the video itself. Video creation sometimes requires applications with large resources. Meanwhile, as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), it is still rare to have computers with high enough specifications. As a solution to this problem, community service activities were carried out by the Samarinda State Polytechnic team to MSME owners in the city of Samarinda using the Kinemaster. The implementation of this activity is carried out for one day to meet face to face with online mentoring for one week. The method of implementation is carried out by lectures, practices, discussions and questions and answers. This intensive service was given to 35 participants. A total of 28 participants succeeded in making business product branding videos with a duration of 1 to 2 minutes

Abstract

The process of creating 3D animation has experienced rapid development through creative innovations and computer technology. Animated films, particularly those based on 3D, have become popular across various age groups. Low poly modeling was the focus in the production of the animation 'Serendipity.' This research employs the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method with the goal of providing practical references for 3D model creation. The research object references the modeling of Bebaya Park in Samarinda City. The animated video was successfully created by applying low poly techniques to the modeling of Bebaya Park. Testing was conducted with 5 respondents, and the results indicated that the low poly approach used was appropriate.

Abstract

Safaa Coffee Space, a coffee shop in Samarinda, faces issues with efficiency and comfort in its food and beverage ordering services due to cashier queues, leading to wasted time for customers and hindering the ordering process. This study aims to develop a mobile Android-based ordering application to enhance the efficiency and comfort of visitors. The identified problems include inefficient ordering processes and queue times that can diminish the customer experience. This research provides a solution by designing an ordering application that allows customers to select menus freely and place orders without having to queue at the cashier. The research methodology employs a prototype approach using the Dart programming language, the Flutter framework, and Firebase as the database. The results indicate that the application can improve the efficiency and comfort of visitors when ordering food and beverages. Black box testing demonstrates that all application features function properly. Additionally, the results of a questionnaire analysis involving 20 respondents show a satisfaction level of 78.4% with the application. Respondents were generally satisfied with the ease of use and the application's user interface, although there were suggestions for improving accessibility and the payment system.

Abstract

Health is a highly valued condition for every individual and society. Health not only refers to the absence of disease or disability, but also includes optimal physical, mental and social well-being. Health is often overlooked in the routine of daily life where many individuals are too focused on the demands of work to earn a great income. Short films have the potential to deliver messages about the importance of prioritizing health. The purpose of this research is to create aesthetic shooting and improve image quality through Cinematography and Color Grading techniques. The use of Cinematography Techniques is applied to the filmmaking process at the pre-production, production and post-production stages. Cinematography techniques include the 5'C principle, namely camera angle, close up/shot size, compositions, continuity, and cutting/editing. The use of Color Grading in a film to adjust colors and tones consistently to achieve the desired visual mood, strengthen the atmosphere of the story, and express character emotions and Adobe Premiere Pro as an application used to edit videos. This research produces a short film that applies Cinematography and Color Grading Techniques with the title "Demi Cinta" with a duration of 16 minutes 18 seconds.
