Abstract

Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School is one of the huts that applies the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method in teaching the yellow book to its students. Where the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method is a practical method in reading and mastering the yellow book which is the work of Ustadz Qusyairi Ismail. The study of the yellow book not only educates students about Islamic religious education, but also seeks to help students master, understand, and practice Islamic teachings as a source of motivation in education for progress and development in every field of life. This researcher uses a qualitative field research approach. And data collection methods using interviews, observation and documentation. For the validity of the data using source triangulation and triangulation techniques to compare the results of interviews, observations and documentation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an reading for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al-Imron Pakamban Laok Pragaan Sumenep students, as well as to identify the obstacles faced by PAI teachers in this process. The Koran, as a source of Divine revelation, plays a central role in a Muslim's life, which requires the ability to read its verses well and correctly. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using source triangulation and technical triangulation to ensure the validity of the data. The research results show that PAI teachers' efforts to improve the quality of students' reading of the Al-Qur'an involve various methods, such as lectures, exercises, questions and answers, as well as practice reading the Al-Qur'an before lessons begin. However, several barriers were also identified, including lack of student interest, lack of encouragement from families, and limited time in class. In conclusion, this research provides a comprehensive picture of efforts and obstacles in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an reading for MI Al-Imron Pakamban Laok Pragaan Sumenep students, as well as providing valuable insights for the development of Islamic religious education in the school environment.

Abstract

Many things happen in educational fields. In this case especially principle and teachers. Principal have to arrange many strategies in order to improve teacher’s performance. This article aim to describe the strategy conducted by principle in TMI Al-Amien Prenduan and what are obstacles faced by principal in improving teacher performance. This research used qualitative approach, the data collection research used are interview, observation and documentation. The data analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and verification while Data validity checking used triangulation. The result of this research are: the strategy used by principle in improving teacher performance, are; performance founding, supervision, discipline founding, motivation and reward. While the obstacles faced are; the lack of principal assistance in conducting administrative tasks, the lack of teacher motivation, and lack of chance in self-improvement.

Abstract

Role is an action taken by someone in an event or event, in this case, the action taken by the principal in disciplining students at SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep. Discipline is defined as one's awareness and willingness to comply with all applicable rules and norms. The formulation of the problem in this study is what is the role of the school principal and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the principal's role in disciplining students of SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep. This study aims to find out how the roles and supporting and inhibiting factors play the role of school principals in disciplining students at SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep. To better understand the role of the school principal in shaping the discipline of SDI Nurul Bayan students, the researchers used a descriptive qualitative research approach. The method used is the method of interviews, observation, and documentation. From this method, then manage and analyze to obtain data or information. The subjects of this study were taken from school principals, teachers, and students of SDI Nurul Bayan. The results of the research in this thesis are that (1) the principal at SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep has become a headmaster who has set a good example for his school staff, ( 2) The role of the school principal at SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep in forming student discipline is quite good, namely by disciplining himself, namely by setting an example, directing and coaching carried out on teachers/staff and students, (3) Factors supporting the role of the principal in SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep is the existence of support from teachers/staff, support from parents, the existence of rules written in each class, and awareness of the students themselves, while the inhibiting factor for the role of the principal is the delay of students coming to school.
