Abstract

PT. Nusantara Segar Abadi Bali was established in 2019. PT. NSA BALI has 2 products produced from cavendish bananas, namely Cavendish Sunpride Banana and Cavendish Bali Fresh Banana. Supply from the harvest is expected to meet the monthly production target of PT. NSA BALI. This r esearch is conducted to get the right forecas ting method to meet the needs of production. In this study using two modeling methods, namely Single Exponential Smoothing and Triple Exponential Smoothing methods. For this study, the data used is secondary data, namely data from January 2019 to Juli 2023 . In this study using model validation, namely MAD, MSE and MAPE. It is known that this study obtained forecasting validation results, namely MAD 17%, MSE 58% MAPE 24% in the Single Exponential Smoothing method, while the Triple Exponential Smoothing metho d obtained the number of forecasting validations, namely MAD 43%, MSE 11% MAPE 54%. In the Single Exponential Smoothing method, the number of forecasts can meet the production target in November 2022 to Juli 2023, while in the Triple Exponential Smoothing method the time that can meet the number of production targets is in September 2022 to Juli 2023

Abstract

White snapper ( Lates calcarifer sp ) is a perishable fishery product, so it needs to be handled properly during storage. Using chitosan and ci n namon essential oil as a coating has the potential to be used as an antibacterial. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding various coating variations and the best coating treatment on the quality characteristics of barramundi fillet s during storage. This study used CRD (completely randomized design). The coating addition treatment consists of no coating, coating with the addition of 1.5g chitosan, coating with the addition of 1.5% cinnamon essential oil and coating with a combination of 1.5g chitosan and 1.5% cinnamon essential oil, with repetition twice and the sample will be stored at temperature. 15 o C for 8 days. The research results showed that the addition of 1.5g chitosan and 1.5% cinnamon essential oil as well as a combination treatment with 1.5g chitosan and 1.5% cinnamon essential oil as a coating provided different effects during cold storage in terms of the parameters pH, pH, texture (hardness), color difference, TVB and TPC. The best treatment was found in coating using cin n amon essential oil 1.5% during cold storage until day 8 with a pH value of 5.9, texture (hardness) 3.1476 N, color difference 7.6, total volatile base 44.70 mg N /100 g, total plate count 5.79 CFU/g.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to measure the employees level of understanding on Integrated Management System (IMS) implementation, to analyze employees performances, and to determine the effect of IMS implementation on employees performances in canned pineapple company. Measured IMS implementation (X) aspect include customer (X 1), food safety and halal (X 2), safety and health (X 3), environmental (X 4), and law (X5). Meanwhile, measure demployees performances (Y) include clear thinking (Y1), collaboration (Y2), creative and courage (Y3), expertise (Y4), and external focus (Y5). This research used survey methodology involving 346 respondents who selected by using stratified random sampling methodology. Each of variables was determined by five indicators with five level measurement scale. The result showed that the avarage level of employee understanding on IMS implementation was 4,33 which means understand and the average employees performances was 4,18 which means good. The IMS implementation has positive and signifiant effect on employees performances. The effect of IMS implementation on employees clear thinking was showed by multiple linear regression Y1= 0,364X1+ 0,264X2+ 0,146X3+ 0,205X5(R2= 0,992), on employee collaboration is showed by equation Y2= 0,302X1+ 0,187X2+ 0,264X3+ 0,233X4(R2= 0,993),on employee creative and courage is showed by equation Y3= 0,268X1+0,299X2+ 0,209X3+0,215X4(R2= 0,992), on employee expertise is showed by equation Y4= 0,315X1+ 0,418X2+0,191X3(R2= 0,990), and on employee external focus is showed by equation Y5= 0,379X1+0,375X2+ 0,194X3(R2= 0,989).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prediction the shelf life of certified rice seeds using the ASLT (Accelerated Shelf Life Testing) method based on the critical moisture content approach. The varieties of rice seeds used in this research were Ciherang and Inpari 30 varieties which packed with polypropylene (PP) plastic packaging. The rice seeds packages were stored at environmental condition (temperature of 29 oC and RH of 75%). Observation on seeds germination was done daily until the seeds have a germination percentage below 80%. When the seeds under this condition, moisture content of the seeds was measured and refer as critical moisture content. It was found that the packaging permeability (k/x) of PP plastic was 0.013 gH2O/m2.day.mmHg. Observation on rice seed of Ciherang variety revealed that its values of initial moisture content (Ma) was 0.133 %, its critical moisture content (Mc) was 0.291 %, its total solid (Ws) was 8.8 kg, and pressure difference (ΔP) was 1,15 mmHg. While, for Invary 30 variety the values of its shelf life parameters were as follows: Ma 0.144 %, Mc 0.293 %, Ws 8.7 kg, and ΔP 0.9 mmHg. The prediction of shelf life the two certified rice seeds which were packed in PP plastic and stored at 29oC and RH of 75% were 156 days (5.03 months) for Ciherang variety and 254 days (8.19 months). ) for Inpari 30 variety.

Abstract

Blast is one of disease that is dangerous for rice plants. This disease can attack in every phase of growth. Calculation of the intensity of blast disease attacks is still done manually. Technology development is needed in estimating the intensity of blast disease attacks through NDVI imagery. This study purpose (1) to get the best NDVI aerial photo altitude, (2) to get the age of rice plants with the highest attack intensity of blast disease, (3) to get a relationship between the intensity of blast disease and the NDVI value of rice plants. This study use Drone DJI Phantom 4 with lens NDVI. Processing data using Web Drone Deploying and Arc Gis 10.3 software. Based on the analysis results, the best detail of 200% zooming results obtained altitude of the NDVI image acquisition that is 20 m with pixel density of 1,4732 cm/pixel. The highest intensity of blast disease attacks occurs at the age of 98 days after planting. The relationship between the intensity of blast disease and NDVI value has a determination coefficient of 0.986. The regression equation obtained in this study is y = -23345x3+ 21191x2-6416,8x + 665,07 with an estimated accuracy of 91,74%

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the pattern of water needs of chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) from the age of planting to flowering plants with polybag systems and (2) determine the pattern of water needs of chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) with various level of soil organic content that is in line with plant age. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of five treatments and seven replications, namely treatment using 100% paddy fields, treatment using 80% paddy soil and 20% manure, 60% rice field treatment and 40% manure, soil treatment rice fields 40% and manure 60%, treatment of rice fields 20% and manure 80%. Data obtained from irrigation water needs were processed using Microsoft Excel computer programs to obtain charts and continued analysis using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results of the study amount of plant water requirements in the treatment using 100% paddy soil an average of 25.29 ml / day, in the treatment of 80% of paddy field and manure 20% on average 24.26 ml / day, in the treatment of rice fields 60% and manure 40% on average 22.06 ml / day, on the treatment of rice fields 40% and manure 60% on average 21.27 ml / day, on the treatment of 20% paddy fields and manure 80% on average 19.32 ml / day. In the treatment of 20% of paddy fields and 80% of manure, water requirements are the least among the other treatments

Abstract

The physical characteristics of bioplastic packaging can be affected by the type and concentration of filler. This research was conducted to obtain bioplastic packaging films that met the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RBD) with the first factor being the type of filler (J) with 2 levels: ZnO and cellulose. The second factor is the concentration of filler (K) with 3 levels, namely 0.5; 0.7; 0.9g. Each treatment was repeated three times, so the re were a total of 18 experimental units. The data will be analyzed using variance. If it turns out that the treatment has a significant effect on the parameters being observed, then the next step is to perform Duncan's test. The results indicated that the different types and concentrations of filler in the manufacture of bioplastic packaging had an effect on the values of tensile strength, elongation, elasticity, water absorption but had no effect on the rate of bioplastic biodegradation. Treatment with cellulose filler concentration of 0.5 g was the treatment that produced bioplastic packaging with the best characteristics, namely tensile strength of 14.31 MPa, elongation of 24.76%, elasticity of 53.72 MPa, water absorption of 0.71% and long biodegradati on time 7.5 days.
