Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of the formation of the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) in Malang and the form of Javanese cultural preservation carried out by the school of culture. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The process of extracting data was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation, and literature study. The results showed that the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) was established to preserve the culture and artistic heritage of the ancestors, particularly Javanese culture and arts. The activities carried out at the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) include ngangsu kaweruh or conducting studies on cultural history and heritage arts (especially Javanese culture), and others. Based on the AGIL concept by Parsons, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) can survive and develop until today due to four aspects. The first is an adaptation, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) adapts by freeing people to participate in activities according to their interests and wishes, and free of charge. The second is goal achievement. The school has various activities that are used as a basis for achieving the goal, namely preserving Javanese culture. Then the integration is carried out through the formation of an organizational structure, as well as holding various activities and promotions. The last one is latency, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) maintains patterns or systems through innovation in learning models, activities, and promotions.

Abstract

The development of technology and information is currently proliferating, especially in the education. However, until now the UM’s Sociology Laboratory is still using the system manually. So as an effort to upgrade and efficiency, the laboratory manager developed an Online Service and Information System for the Sociology Laboratory, abbreviated as Si-LIONLABS Website-Based. The purpose of this research is to develop website to provide updated services and information via the internet to students, lecturers, and the wider community. Si-LIONLABS is expected to make it easier for students and lecturers to access Sociology Laboratory services online so that optimal and efficient services will be created. The research development model is the ADDIE development model. ADDIE stands for the five stages of the product development model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this development research is the creation of a Sociology Laboratory management system that is ready to be used.

Abstract

Desa Samar is a village with the potential to develop into a tourist village. The village located in the Pagerwojo District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province has various promising natural potentials. In order to realize a Tourism Village, the role of stakeholders is certainly an important element. This study aims to identify, map, and describe the roles and relationships among stakeholders involved in the development of Samar Village Tourism. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review as supporting data. The analysis technique in this study uses the stakeholder analysis method approach. The stakeholders involved are divided into primary stakeholders, key stakeholders, and secondary stakeholders. Data collection was conducted using purposive sampling to ensure the accuracy of the data collected. The research results show that the success of developing a village tourism destination is greatly determined by the collaboration among the involved stakeholders. Through stakeholder mapping in Samar Village, it was revealed that there are primary, key, and secondary stakeholders, whose interrelated roles necessitate strong commitment, coordination, and cooperation among them. Samar Village, with its various tourism potentials such as orange agro-tourism, bee farming, cattle ranching, and watermills, if managed and organized well by the related stakeholders, will become a sustainable village tourism and provide positive impacts for the community. Active participation from BUMDES, youth organizations, local government, and the local community is crucial for the successful management of these potentials. The level of active participation among stakeholders determines the sustainability of tourism in Desa Samar.
