Abstract

A model of resistance to deformation as a result of cold rolling process of Cartridge Brass alloy conducted atlaboratory, was obtained. Based on this experimental model, to be able to apply the theoritical models to meetthe scale level of laboratory, they were modified. The regression of experiment results and the modifiedtheoritical models are reasonably able to predict the resistance to deformation. The models of resistance todeformation both experimental and modified ones show the average deviation of about 10%Keywords: Cold Rolling, Resistance to deformation, Brass alloy

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kuap, Kecamatan Pemayung, Kabupaten Batanghari Jambi selama 3 bulan mulai bulan Nopember 2015 sampai Januari 2016 yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian zeolit pada bibit kelapa sawit ( Elaeis guineensis Jacq. ) di pembibitan utama. Bibit kelapa sawit yang digunakan adalah jenis Dura yang telah berumur 3 bulan. Media tanam yang digunakan adalah tanah ultisol yang dicampur zeolit dan pupuk NPK dalam polybag ukuran 5 kg. Penelitian dirancang menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan pemberian zeolit sebanyak 5 taraf; yaitu z0 (tanpa pemberian zeolit), z1 (50 g zeolit), z2 (100 g zeolit), z3 (150 g zeolit), dan z4 (200 g zeolit) setiap polybag. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang 3 kali (15 unit satuan percobaan). Setiap petak terdapat 3 bibit, sehingga jumlah bibit sebanyak 45 polybag, 2 tanaman digunakan untuk tanaman sampel. Peubah yang diamati adalah tinggi bibit (cm), diameter batang (mm), berat kering tanaman (g), dan berat kering akar tanaman (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian zeolit dengan dosis yang berbeda pada media tanam memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tinggi bibit, diameter batang, berat kering tanaman, dan berat kering akar bibit kelapa sawit. Dosis zeolit 200 g per polybag merupakan dosis terbaik untuk pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di pembibitan utama.Kata Kunci : Zeolit, Respon Bibit Kelapa Sawit

Abstract

This research was carried out at PT Samudera Indonesia Pontianak branch with the aim of studying the in/out clearance process using the inapornet system, the obstacles being faced and the efforts to overcome them. The research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through observation, documentation techniques and literature study. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the obstacles that occur were that the Inapornet system experienced an error or is down, there was no supporting feature available for uploading documents or files, and there was no connection with the VTS (Vessel Traffic Service) agency or VTS service. Efforts that need to be made to overcome these obstacles are to immediately contact the relevant agency regarding the problem. In the cases where supporting features are not yet available on Inapornet, the agent can immediately collect the ship's documents after the ship has docked, and if the condition was not yet connected to the VTS agency, the agent immediately contacts one of them, the agency was to send requests for VTS services using social media so as to speed up the publication of the document to be uploaded in the Inapornet system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the activity of loading containers from the depot to the ship and the obstacles that occur when carrying out these activities, and efforts to overcome them. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and document studies. The results showed that the activity of loading containers from the depot to the ship at PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Tanjung Priok branch includes stuffing, stripping, container delivery, container acceptance, Shipper Owner Container (SOC) receipt, ship loading process, depot relocation to container yard, container repair, heavy equipment division. In the activity of loading containers from the depot to the ship there are obstacles such as equipment damage, bad weather, truck delays, and lack of truck facilities. Efforts have been made to overcome these obstacles by carrying out among others: maintenance of equipment, training of workers, and provision of additional truck facilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the understanding of student in mathematics lesson at elementary school in Jambi. The research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews to teachers and students at Sekolah SD Islam Al Azhar 57 Jambi. The study was carried out from January to February 2023. The results showed that the dominant influencing factors of elementary school students in understanding mathematics lesson could be categorized as internal and external factors. The internal factors were students’ interest, motivation, attitude and effort to grasp the lesson, while the external ones namely methods or ways of learning, planning for the teaching and learning process and media or learning facilities. The suggestions that can be put forward are the need for creativity of teachers to create interesting learning materials, for example using animation; and implementing interactive activities in the learning process, for example through games.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan kerja, motivasi kerja dan beban kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif dan teknik analisisnya menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Tempat penelitian adalah Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Maritim “AMI” Jakarta dan cara pengambilan data melalui survei dengan kuesioner menggunakan sampel jenuh 50 karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, (2) motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, dan (3) beban kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kinerja dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kemampuan kerja dan motivasi kerja.

Abstract

Industri maritim Indonesia menghadapi tantangan serius tingginya angka kecelakaan kapal yang diatribusikan pada human error, dengan kelelahan kerja (fatigue) menjadi akar penyebab yang sering terabaikan. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kelelahan terhadap kinerja dan keselamatan pelaut, serta merumuskan strategi mitigasinya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur dan analisis laporan KNKT (2018-2021), penelitian mengidentifikasi dua masalah krusial: menurunnya konsentrasi saat bertugas jaga dan ketidaksesuaian pencatatan jam istirahat akibat tekanan operasional. Hasilnya menegaskan bahwa kelelahan, yang dipicu jam kerja berlebih dan istirahat tidak memadai, secara langsung menurunkan kewaspadaan dan meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan. Sebagai solusi, direkomendasikan implementasi manajemen kelelahan yang terintegrasi dalam Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan (SMK). Strategi komprehensif ini mencakup pelatihan berkelanjutan, penyediaan fasilitas kerja memadai, penerapan disiplin manajemen waktu istirahat oleh nakhoda sesuai standar STCW & MLC, serta integrasi prosedur mitigasi ke dalam sistem. Implementasi yang sistematis ini merupakan solusi proaktif untuk meningkatkan performa dan keselamatan pelaut, sehingga memperkuat fundamental keselamatan industri maritim nasional.
