Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has made a negative impact on the health status of many people in Indonesia. While vaccination is a great tool for decreasing the infection rate and increasing the survival rate, consuming functional foods and vitamins is also beneficial for increasing the body immunity and maintaining a good health. Black garlic is one of the functional foods derived from garlic. Black garlic has many beneficial health effects such as reducing blood pressure and cholesterol, thereby reducing the risk of getting heart disease and stroke. In addition, Black garlic has a good antioxidant compound which can increase the body immunity and reduce oxidative stress. In order to disseminate the health benefits of black garlic, we conduct training on making black garlic to Al Ihsan religious group in Pedurenan, Tangerang City.

Abstract

Smart farming is an agricultural management plan based on precise monitoring and calculation of agricultural parameters that are useful as a reference in taking appropriate actions. The application of Smart Farming is inseparable from the IoT system that supports processing and data collection. Remote large agricultural area, far from the public, limited access to electricity and difficult cellular network access. Responding to this, this research designed an IoT-based agricultural monitoring system by implementing the ESP 32 microcontroller and LoRa Transmission which uses solar panels as a power supply and is displayed via the Web Server Dashboard. Tests are carried out in the form of sensor readings, dashboard displays, and data transmission. The results obtained are that the agricultural monitoring system design works well with the sensors used to work and the ESP32 microcontroller to process data. LoRa and Internet data transmission can be sent properly indicated by synchronous data access. The monitoring dashboard can work properly as shown by the appropriate home page and graphic page.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Peningkatan kebutuhan energi dan rendahnya pemanfaatan potensi energi surya di Indonesia menuntut penguatan kompetensi teknis pada bidang Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini tujuannya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman serta keterampilan siswa SMKN 1 Kemang Bogor dalam perancangan sistem PLTS melalui pelatihan penggunaan software PVSyst. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup penyuluhan, pelatihan langsung, pre-test dan post-test, serta analisis kuesioner menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan uji binomial dan skala Likert. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 67,21 menjadi 88,66 setelah pelatihan, serta penilaian positif terhadap efektivitas dan relevansi pelatihan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan PVSyst terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada bidang Teknik Energi Terbarukan dan disarankan agar integrasi softwarePVSyst dijadikan bagian dari kurikulum pembelajaran Teknik Energi Terbarukan di SMKN 1 Kemang Bogor untuk menunjang kesiapan siswa menghadapi kebutuhan industri. Kata Kunci: PVSyst, PLTS, Simulasi, Pembelajaran, Energi Terbarukan. ABSTRACT The increasing demand for energy and the low utilization of solar energy potential in Indonesia require the strengthening of technical competencies in the field of Solar Power Plants (SPP). This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of students at SMKN 1 Kemang Bogor in designing PLTS systems through training in the use of PVSyst software. The implementation methods include counseling, hands-on training, pre-tests and post-tests, and questionnaire analysis using a qualitative approach with binomial tests and a Likert scale. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average score from 67.21 to 88.66 after the training, as well as positive assessments of the effectiveness and relevance of the training. Thus, PVSyst training has proven to be effective in improving students' competencies in the field of Renewable Energy Engineering, and it is recommended that the integration of PVSyst software be made part of the Renewable Energy Engineering learning curriculum at SMKN 1 Kemang Bogor to support students' readiness to meet industry needs. Keywords: PVSyst, PV Systems, Simulation, Learning, Renewable Energy.
