Abstract

ABSTRAKDi Indonesia, pengguna internet area perkotaan, antara desa dan kota, serta pedesaan berturut sebesar 72,41%, 49,5%, dan 48,3%. Berikut komposisi dari pengguna internet di Indonesia: pulau Jawa, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, dan Maluku-Papua masing-masing sebesar 58,1%, 19%, 8%, 6,7%, 5,6%, dan 2,5%. Guna mengatasi masalah ini, beberapa upaya telah dilakukan untuk menyamakan akses internet di Indonesia, dan salah satu upaya yang ditawarkan adalah Project Loon. Project Loon merupakan teknologi komunikasi berdasarkan High Altitude Platform (HAPs). Penelitian terkait pengujian kelayakan Project Loon dilakukan menggunakan metode Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Operasional Project Loon di Indonesia menggunakan frekuensi 900 MHZ untuk eNodeB HAPs LTE, Diperlukan regulasi baru guna menjamin operasional Project Loon oleh operator di Indonesia, serta Area dan waktu operasional Project Loon dibatasi dengan ketentuan yang berlaku guna menghindari terjadinya resiko yang tidak diinginkan.Kata Kunci: Project Loon, HAPs, RIA, Regulasi Frekuensi ABSTRACTIn Indonesia, urban area internet users, between villages and cities, and rural areas are 72.41%, 49.5% and 48.3% respectively. The following is the composition of internet users in Indonesia: Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, and Maluku-Papua islands each at 58.1%, 19%, 8%, 6.7%, 5.6% and 2.5%. To overcome this problem, several efforts have been made to equalize internet access in Indonesia, and one of the efforts offered is Project Loon. Loon Project is a communication technology based on the High Altitude Platform (HAPs). Research related to the feasibility testing of Project Loon is conducted using the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) method. The results obtained are that Project Loon Operations in Indonesia uses 900 MHz frequency for eNodeB LTE HAPs, new regulations are needed to guarantee the operation of Loon Projects by operators in Indonesia, and the Project Area and operational time is limited by applicable provisions to avoid unwanted risks.Keywords: Project Loon, HAPs, RIA, Frequency Regulation

Abstract

Terkait dengan kesehatan masyarakat, Kementrian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia mencanangkan sebuah gerakan yang memasyarakatkan budaya hidup sehat serta meninggalkan kebiasaan dan perilaku masyarakat yang kurang sehat. Namun, promosi kesehatan dan pencegahan penyakit yang telah ada kurang dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Dengan dasar inilah kami Fakultas Teknik UPNVJ bekerjasama dengan SD Tunas Mandiri bermaksud mengadakan pemberdayaan pemanfaatan pekarangan sekolah untuk tanaman sayur dan buah, menanamkan kesadaran peduli sampah dengan Teknik komposter guna membentuk kesadaran cinta lingkungan. Diharapkan dengan adanya pemberdayaan masyarakat berupa GERMAS, dapat meningkatkan wawasan akan lingkungan bagi siswa, orang tua dan komite SD Tunas Mandiri akan mengerti cara pengelolaan sampah berbasiskan komposter, meningkatkan kemandirian dan perekenomian masyarakat, dan yang paling utama adalah meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan dan kesadaran siswa sejak dini. Target luaran dari program ini berupa produk pengolahan sampah dengan komposter dan pemanfaatan lahan SD Tunas Mandiri untuk dijadikan wahana pemberlajaran untuk anak – anak budidaya di pekarangan sekolah agar bisa dijadikan pembelajaran buat siswa dan bisa dikelola sekolah.Kata Kunci: GERMAS, pekarangan sekolah, sampah, Komposter

Abstract

One of the critical equipment to support a patient in the hospital would be an infuse system. One of the main problems with the infuse system was manual monitoring. Few researchers try to build a low cost infuse system using a low-cost sensor and microcontroller. This paper proposes a fuzzy Topsis algorithm and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm to choose the best sensor for a low cost to the infuse system, which is one of the Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problems. Several simulations using three sensors, such as LDR (photoresistor), phototransistor, and photodiode, are performed. By using these two algorithms, it can be shown that the phototransistor emerges as the best sensor with value 1, even though it has the price six times higher from the LDR sensor and three times higher from the photodiode.

Abstract

Banyaknya waktu kosong serta kurangnya keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh ibu rumah tangga, mengakibatkan kurangnya produktifitas yang dimiliki oleh ibu-ibu tersebut. Peningkatan produktifitas ibu rumah tangga dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan kerajinan tangan yang berbahan dasar kain flannel. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menunjang perekonomian keluarga sebagai Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM). Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni metode ceramah, demontrasi langsung dipraktekkan oleh peserta, serta tanya jawab. Demontrasi digunakan untuk memberikan keterampilan langsung mengenai proses pembuatan kreasi produk fungsional yang berbahan baku kain flannel1, peralatan yang diperlukan serta bahan digunakan dalam pembuatan produk dari kain flanel. Target luaran dari program ini berupa produk kerajinan dari flanel berupa gantungan kunci, pernak pernik dan tempat tisu dari kain flanel. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa Ibu-ibu sangat antusias dan semangat dalam mengikuti pelatihan, sehingga adanya peningkatan keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh ibu rumah tangga untuk mengisi waktu kosong dengan cara yang bermanfaat.

Abstract

The change of information and communication technology has brought many changes in daily life. The way humans interacting is changing. It is possible to express each form of communication directly and instantly. Social media has contributed data in size, diversity and capacity and quality. Based on it, the idea was to see and measure the tendency of depression and anxiety through social media using the Closed-Loop method using Facebook text mining posts. Through the stages of pre-processing including text extraction using the Naïve Bayes machine learning model for text classification, the early signs of depression and anxiety are measured using DASS-21 parameter. In total, 22,934 Facebook posts were contributed as training and learning data collected from July 2017 until July 2018. As a results, analysis and mapping of social demographics of users that are usually as a trigger of depression, and anxiety, such as grief, illness, household affairs, children education and others are available.

Abstract

Pesut adalah jenis lumba-lumba tanpa moncong yang hidup pada air tawar, payau dan asin termasuk kedalam golongan mamalia laut besar. Pesut ditetapkan sebagai spesies yang menjadi fokus dan prioritas upaya konservasi jenis di Indonesia karena termasuk kedalam spesies endangered. Jumlah individu yang terus berkurang dan meningkatnya ancaman membuat spesies ini semakin terancam jumlahnya. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menduga populasi pesut yang berada di Resort Sungai Perlu SPTN Wilayah II Taman Nasional Tanjung Puting yang dilakukan pada bulan februari yang mana menurut nelayan lokal adalah waktu yang paling tepat untuk melakukan pengamatan pesut karena kondisi gelombang laut yang sedang tenang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Capture-Mark-Recapture dengan menggunakan foto sirip punggung sebagai identitas individu setiap pesut. Pendugaan jumlah populasi menggunakan analisis persamaan Chapman. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan jumlah populasi pesut sebesar 55 individu. Karakteristik sirip punggung yang mendominasi adalah bulat telur, segitiga, bercabang, dan datar. Kata kunci: pesut, populasi, sirip punggung, Taman Nasional Tanjung Puting

Abstract

Disability is a problem with the body-function or body-structure, activity limitations, such as individual's difficulty in carrying out actions in life situations. One example of physical disability is a foot disability or an injury on foot that prevents people’s ability in doing activities, where disabled people will find it hard to move from one place to another. Not only needing assistive devices, disabled people who use wheelchairs also need special facilities to do their activities. One of the activities is to shop. In Indonesia there are still no facilities that make disabled people with wheelchairs to shop at supermarkets in ease. Therefore, an innovation is indeed needed to make an integrated, automated, and special trolleys so it can facilitate and increase awareness of the importance of special facilities for disabled people in Indonesia. The EFD (Ergonomic Function Deployment) method is used to design the trolley according to the respondent's wishes. EFD is a development of QFD by adding a new relationship between consumer needs and the ergonomic aspects of the product. The product attributes that is used are derived from the ergonomics aspect which is known as ENASE (Effective, Comfortable, Safe, Healthy and Efficient). The prioritized variables of product design are trolleys for disabled people that run automatically, have an additional trolley basket (opening an additional trolley), have a soft back and seat, and have a strong locking system so that it makes it easier for users with a weight of 0.06048. The priority of consumer needs (Customer Needs) from the results of the HOE design are 3,4,7,8,9.10,11,14,5,6,12,13,16,18,19,1,15,2, and 17 and the Priority of Technical Requirements from the results of the HOE design are C, A, B, E and D

Abstract

Urban farming (gardening in the middle of the city) is increasingly in demand by modern society. Urban farming provides business opportunities as well as being a lifestyle trend. One of the plants that can be cultivated at home is oyster mushroom. Oyster mushroom cultivation is quite easy but requires a special environment to grow up. To do mushroom cultivation at home, it is necessary to manage temperature and humidity to achieve optimal temperature and humidity. A temperature and humidity control system that can be monitored and controlled through the smartphoneis the result of the study. Temperature and humidity detected by the DHT22 sensor, then read by NodeMCU and sent to the Blynk application via a WiFi connection are considered as the input system. WiFi used by NodeMCU is the same as WiFi used by smartphones. Blynk on a smartphone will display the temperature and humidity read by NodeMCU. If the temperature and humidity are out of the optimal temperature and humidity range for oyster mushrooms, a notification will appear on the smartphone. Temperature and humidity control can be done by pressing the ON / OFF button on Blynk to turn on and turn off the lights or the fan as needed, so that the temperature and humidity return to optimal. Based on testing, the system successfully displays temperature and humidity on a smartphone, displays notifications and makes control. The relative error of the temperature measurement is 2.6% and the relative error of the humidity measurement is 3.2%.

Abstract

In Indonesia, urban area internet users, between villages and cities, are arranged in the villages according to 72.41%, 49.5%, and 48.3%. Following are the composition of internet users in Indonesia: Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, and Maluku-Papua respectively 58.1%, 19%, 8%, 6.7%, 5.6%, and 2.5%. To overcome this problem, several attempts have been made to equalize internet access in Indonesia, and one of the efforts offered is Project Loon. Project Loon is a communication technology based on High Altitude Platform (HAPs). Research related to Project Loon feasibility testing is conducted using library study methods using SWOT analysis using strengths, weaknesses, advantages, and battles against Project Loon using various indicators such as systems, infrastructure, economy and regulation. The conclusion of this research is that Loon Project has the potential to be implemented not yet available in Indonesia. In terms of infrastructure and economy, Project Loon is quite effective and economical. However, it must still consider the population in the area to avoid operational costs.
