Abstract

Prinsip yang berhubungan dengan tatanan  yang bersifat sosial, estetika, moral dalam bertindak tutur akan tercermin dalam kesantunan berbahasa. Tata cara berkomunikasi dipengaruhi norma budaya kelompok masyarakat tertentu. Dalam era globalisasi sekarang ini, Indonesia dihadapkan pada kekuatan budaya raksasa yang menjungkirbalikkan norma budaya Indonesia. Hal inilah yang perlu dikembalikan agar diperoleh kearifan yang memadai dalam berkomunikasi. Penerapan prinsip kesantunan, penggunaan honorifik, dan penggunaan eufemisme secara wajar akan membentuk karakter bangsa yang bermartabat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of practice questions of Asessemen Standarisasi Penilaian Daerah (ASPD) Indonesian language junior high school in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta in terms of the cognitive level of Barret's taxonomy. This research employed qualitative research.  The data source of this research was the question document of Package A, which was adopted from MGMP Indonesian language junior high school in Bantul Regency. The theory used to analyze these questions was the theory of Barret's Taxonomy. The results of the analysis stated that there were 14 questions with literal comprehension taxonomy, 6 items included in reorganization comprehension, 6 implied comprehension, 1 question included in the evaluation comprehension category and 1 question included in evaluation comprehension. This research is expected to contribute to providing references to teachers, especially Indonesian language teachers in Bantul to develop questions, practice reading comprehension questions for students to improve the DIY ASPD program which will later lead to PISA with the hope of increasing the PISA scores and rankings of Indonesian students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model for teaching Indonesian language based on critical and collaborative thinking in the Law Study Program. This research is classified as R&D development research. The development research model used is the R2D2 development model, which has three important stages, namely: (1) define focus, (2) design and development, and (3) disseminate. The subjects of this study were students who were taking Indonesian language courses in the Law Study Program, Faculty of Law, Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta and Muhammadiyah University Purwokerto. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative data analysis. The results of this study are as follows: (1) there is a need to develop a learning model that attracts students' interest in Indonesian language courses in the Law Study Program; (2) the model development has succeeded in developing a critical and collaborative thinking-based learning model for Indonesian language courses in the Law Study Program; (3) The pretest analysis results obtained a p-value of 0.855, which is known to be p-value > 0.05, so Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the level of student thinking after treatment between the control and experimental groups was significantly different.

Abstract

This review discusses the implementation of biolinguistics in children’s language acquisition. The focus lies on the importance of biolinguistics in studying children’s language acquisition. Children’s language is considered important because, within the scientific concept of biolinguistics, will have an influence on the development of children’s language until the child is an adult. This review is based on The Cambridge Handbook of Biolinguistics, which consists of three parts. The first section discusses the history of biolinguistics; the second chapter discusses the mind, brain and behavior in relation to language; and the third section discusses the evolution of language.  This book aims to open our horizons about biolinguistics as a science that harmonizes language and knowledge, language development in children and the evolution of language in various species. In addition, the most profound meaning of this book lies in its emphasis on the function the human brain,  where each part has its own specific role. Through this book we are asked to be grateful for God's gift to humans for giving the brain with a very extraordinary function. In line with its purpose, this book not only examines the integration between language and the human brain, but also inspires readers to appreciate the complexity of human cognition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pemerolehan semantik pada anak usia 4 tahun dan kaitannya dengan bahan ajar psikolinguistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) mendiskripsikan bentuk fitur pemerolehan semantik pada anak umur 4 tahun; 2) mendiskripsikan faktor yang mempengaruhi pemerolehan semantik pada anak umur 4 tahun; 3) mendiskripsikan keterkaitan pemerolehan semantik dan kaitannya dengan bahan ajar psikolinguistik yang disajikan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu pemerolehan semantik pada anak usia 4 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus mendalam (intrinsik Case study). Menggunakan teknik pengambilan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebagai berikut; 1) terdapat dua fitur pemerolehan semantik yang terkandung dalam ucapan Abizar yaitu penciutan makna dan penggelembungan makna. Pemerolehan data pada penciutan makna sebanya  3 data dan penggelembungan makna ada 18 data; 2) terdapat dua faktor yang mempengaruhi  pemerolehan bahasa pada Abizar yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi Abizar adalah faktor jenis kelamin, lalu faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi Abizar ialah tontonan kesukaan.

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: A notarial deed is an authentic deed containing various legal relationships or events with specific characteristics drafted by or attested by a notary. Its peculiarities vary based on the form, structure, and legal language that are not easily understood by other legal practitioners or the public. To avoid a dispute between the parties, an interpretation of the terms of the legal language used in the deed is required. Based on the literature review, previous studies have yet to discuss the legal interpretation of the deeds made by a notary.Purpose/Objective Study: The research aims to identify and describe the legal interpretation of the terms, phrases, and clauses used in notarial deeds.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research is normative-empiric research. Data consists of primary and secondary data. There are 20 deeds of Islamic financing contracts and ten various deeds such as co-operation agreements, repurchase agreements, bank loans, and so on. The deeds were drafted and/or attested by Sari Darmawati, S.E., S.H. notary in Semarang. Findings: The legal interpretation of notarial deeds is pivotal for ensuring the enforceability of agreements, drawing on legal sources like laws and judicial decisions. Standardized terms form a foundational framework, although their unique meanings may be complex for the public. Gender-based designations and clauses regarding breach of contract and force majeure define legal consequences. In Islamic finance, specific definitions are introduced. Emphasizing jurisdiction and legal principles in agreements, parties' intention prevails in case of ambiguity. Progressive law advocates for a functional interpretation, considering social realities. Interpreting notarial deeds demands a nuanced understanding of language and party intentions, requiring adherence to legal principles amid evolving societal dynamics.Paper Type: Research Article

Abstract

This study aims to develop a legal document-based critical reading textbook in compulsory university courses in higher education. This study used a research and development method with the ADDIE model. The instruments used to obtain research data are observation guidelines, interviews, and expert assessment questionnaires for the developed products. The subjects of this research were students of the law study program who were taking Indonesian language courses at Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of this study indicated that the product feasibility test for material experts obtained a score of 3.6 in the excellent category. The product feasibility test for media experts obtained a score of 4.0 with a good category. Based on the student response test results calculated by the AIKEN V formula, the score was 0.95 to 1 with an outstanding category. The effectiveness test using independent sample pretest results 0.155 means insignificant, meaning that the initial conditions are not different or the same. In contrast, the post-test results of 0.011 mean significant, meaning different conditions. This study concludes that the textbook developed is influential for teaching material for students of law study programs in understanding legal documents.
