Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the Effect of Flipped Classroom toward Students’ Reading Ability in English Classroom. The sample of this study were the first grade students of Madrasah Aliyah or Islamic High School in Kaur Bengkulu, Indonesia. This study used a Quasi-Experimental design. The sample in this research was 52 students consisting of 26 students in the experimental class and 26 students in the control class taken by purposive sampling. The experimental class has given the treatment using the Flipped classroom strategy, while the control class used the conventional classroom strategy. Pre-test were given in two groups before giving the treatment. The results showed as follows: First, the average of pre-test score showed that the experimental class got 51.23 and the control class was 50,92. After being given treatment, a post-test is given. The post-test results show the average score of the experimental class was 71.85 and the control class was 62.85. The Second, the sample score of the independent T-test shows the significant value (2 tailed) is 0,000 <0.05. In other words, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. In short, it can be concluded that students who are taught using the Flipped Classroom strategy are better than not using it. So, it can be concluded that learning using flipped classroom has a positive effect on first grade students at Islamic High School in Kaur-Bengkulu Indonesia.

Abstract

Interlocutory decisions are sacred in cases. Interlocutory decisions have various characteristics if they are to be issued, and the judge in resolving the case depends on the type and need for the case to use an interim decision or not. In joint property cases, of course, it is mandatory to carry out a local inspection and before carrying out a local inspection, the judge is obliged to issue an interim decision to carry out the local inspection. However, in the case of the Sukadana Religious Court which registered a unique case number, why is it unique because before the interim decision was issued there had been peaceful and successful efforts. And it is interesting to examine why when mediation is successful the case is continued and an interim decision is issued and the local examination continues. The research method uses normative juridical methods with a qualitative approach. The results of the deliberative research carried out, even if the mediation is successful to confirm whether joint assets exist or not, must still carry out a local inspection and the decision between the local inspections will still be read out.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the impact of the Game-Based Quizizz Application on the vocabulary mastery of tenth-grade students at SMKN 2 Bengkulu City. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. A total of 60 students participated, divided into two groups: 30 students in the experimental class (X TGM 2) and 30 students in the control class (X TP 1), selected through purposive sampling. The experimental group received instruction using the Game-Based Quizizz Application, while the control group was taught using the traditional Grammar Translation Method. To establish a baseline, both groups were given a pre-test before the intervention. The results revealed that the experimental class had an average pre-test score of 51.47, whereas the control class had an average of 44.73. After the intervention, the post-test scores were collected, showing that the experimental class achieved an average of 79.70, while the control class reached 77.40. An independent T-test analysis indicated a significant (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). These findings suggest that the use of the Game-Based Quizizz Application significantly enhances vocabulary mastery compared to traditional methods. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that integrating the Game-Based Quizizz Application into the learning process positively impacts vocabulary acquisition among tenth-grade students at SMKN 2 Bengkulu City.
