Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the process of character building and has an impact on the moral decadence of students in schools. The lack of monitoring of the competence of educators in the online system causes a decrease in the character of students. This is due to the lack of exemplary in thinking, ethics, speaking, and acting obtained by students. It is important to instill character education in students so that they have characters based on religious values such as in Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to examine the existence of Islamic boarding schools in implementing character education in the pandemic era with the object Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) for Girls 1 Mantingan Ngawi, East Java. This research is a literature study with the type of research is qualitatively, while the method is descriptive analytic. The results show that PMDG for Girls 1 is able to show its existence in implementing character education even in the pandemic era. This can be seen from the effectiveness of the dormitory system that can support face-to-face learning as an effort to internalize character education in Islamic boarding schools. This can be achieved by applying the discipline health protocol in the Pesantren environment before starting face-to-face learning. In addition, it is also supported by various Pesantren disciplines such as prohibiting students from leaving campus except in very emergency conditions and accompanied by special officers.

Abstract

Perkembangan dan kemajuan suatu bangsa dapat dilihat dari perkembangan pendidikan dimana Pendidikan yang unggul adalah pendidikan yang disertai profil guru yang merupakan gambaran singkat seorang pendidik sesuai dengan kompetensinya. melalui penelitian ini penulis ingin mengungkapkan profil guru dalam perspektif lembaga pendidikan Islam. Obyek dari penelitian ini adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan islam ternama di Indonesia, yaitu lembaga pendidikan Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dengan mengumpulkan data dari buku, jurnal, dan literasi yang membahas profil guru secara umum maupun dalam perspektif Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor dengan tahapan analisis data, penyaringan data, penulisan data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profil guru menurut Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor adalah pendidik dan pengajar yang memiliki karakter dan akhlak yang mulia, selalu meningkatkan dan mengembangkan diri baik intelektual maupun spritual sebagai teladan bagi para santri dan memiliki mental yang tangguh, serta jiwa kepemimpinan yang akan selalu mengawal kegiatan dan penugasan santri sebagai bentuk proses pendidikan terhadap para santri.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam merupakan pilar penting dalam membangun peradaban yang berkemajuan, dengan memahami tujuan, prinsip, dan metode. Banyak lembaga pendidikan Islam, baik formal maupun non formal, yang berkontribusi dalam mencetak generasi penerus bangsa yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan berilmu pengetahuan yang di dasari dengan keimanan dan ke-Islaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana konsep pendidikan Islam dalam penerapan dan penanaman nilai-nilai Islam, khususnya di Pondok Pesantren Gontor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa buku-buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan dokumen-dokumen resmi yang berkaitan dengan konsep pendidikan dalam Islam dan kurikulum pendidikan Islam khususnya di Pondok Pesantren Gontor. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan konsep pendidikan Islam dalam penerapan dan penanaman nilai-nilai Islam di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Dalam hal ini Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor terus berupaya untuk menerapkan pendidikan Islam yang  holistik melalui pembinaan santri-santri dengan nilai-nilai Islam,yang dikenal dengan kurikulum 24 jam,baik tertulis dan tersembunyi atau hidden curriculum  melalui pengawasan dan kegiatan selama 24 jam yang membentuk akhlak dan perilaku santri.
