Abstract

This article aimed to design an extracurricular program in the field of Islamic thought for the high school (SMA) level in Indonesia. This design is in order to face the challenges of thinking from the West. The program is very urgent ‎because these challenges also have an impact on Muslim youth, who are ‎looking for an identity. The research focuses on the educational curriculum at Pesantren At-Taqwa Depok. Where this object is used as a reference for compiling and formulating the design of extracurricular programs in the field of Islamic thought at the (SMA) level. This research is qualitative research with primary data sources obtained from interviews and field observations (field research). The data is used to analyze and describe educational programs and curricula at Pesantren At-Taqwa Depok. The results of the study found that the extracurricular design in the field of thought was based on the concept of al-Tawâssut wa al-'Itidâl and the concept of Ashlaḥa wa 'Mua'shirah. The extracurricular program in the field of thought aimed to produce superior adabi people, broad-minded about Islam and in accordance with the Islamic worldview. This program is actualized in two forms, the first being organizers or forums for developing student potential in a field of thought called the Student-Insight Development Forum. Second, they are programs and activities, such as book sharing, book studies and thematic studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti dalam menanamkan karakter religius siswa di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian sebagai berikut: 1. Implementasi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti dalam menanamkan karakter religius siswa yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program intrakurikuler dan ektrakurikuler. 2. Faktor pendukung yaitu prasarana dan sarana di sekolah, semangat guru dalam mengajar, lingkungan yang bersih dan nyaman, program kegiatan sekolah meliputi intrakurikuler dan ektrakurikuler. 3. Faktor penghambat: kurangnya motivasi dari internal siswa, adanya pengaruh faktor keluarga siswa, pengaruh pertemanan, pengaruh penggunaan handphone, dan kurangnya keteladanan dari para guru. 4. Solusi mengatasi faktor penghambat: melakukan pendekatan persuasife, belajar memahami, dan mengenal psikologis siswa, mengadakan pembinaan dan pertemuan orang tua, guru memberikan nasehat agar memilih teman yang baik, mengajak orang tua siswa untuk ikut serta mengawasi siswa dalam pergaulan, mengoptimalkan media komunikasi, menghimbau batasan penggunaan smartphone pada siswa, dan memberikan suri teladan yang baik dan budaya saling mengingatkan dalam kebaikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya pengaruh globalisasi sehingga minimnya karakter religius di sekolah dasar negeri. Lembaga pendidikan formal yang mengadakan kegiatan penanaman karakter religius salah satunya adalah sekolah dasar negeri Kotabatu 04, kecamatan Ciomas, kabupaten Bogor.  Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif lapangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya bersifat deskriptif interpretatife. Adapun hasil penelitian: 1. Peran guru pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) dan Budi Pekerti dalam menanamkan karakter religius pada siswa Kelas V sekolah dasar negeri Kotabatu 04 desa Kotabatu kecamatan Ciomas kabupaten Bogor tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yaitu: sebagai pengajar, pendidik, teladan, pembimbing, dan pendorong kesadaran keimanan. 2. Faktor pendukungnya yaitu: (a) motivasi yang tinggi siswa dan guru; (b) kondisi kesehatan siswa; (c) minat siswa besar; (d) dukungan orang tua; (e) pengaruh teman; (f) lingkungan tempat tinggal khas religius; (g) sarana prasarana yang memadai; dan (h) lingkungan sekolah dan peraturan sekolah. 3. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu: (a) alokasi waktu yang kurang; (b) sikap dan prilaku siswa beragam; dan (c) kurangnya perhatian orang tua. 4. Solusi faktor penghambat yaitu: (a) mengadakan belajar diluar jam kelas; (b) memperlakukan peserta didik dengan adil, berinteraksi dengan akhlak mulia, memberikan nasehat, dan motivasi; dan (c) bangun hubungan interaksi guru dengan orang tua secara langsung atau tidak langsung
