Abstract

Bullying behavior is often the case among teenagers nowadays, not only in the school environment but also in the islamic boarding school which is where the education of religious. The impact of bullying can interfere with adolescent mental health, especially for its victims.The impact among them is fear, feeling ashamed, depressed, sad and anxious.Physical impact is also felt by victims of bullying, such as swelling, injury, sleeplessness, decreased appetite.The research is a bertujun to explore the experiences of bullying. Explore students ' understanding of bullying, the form of bullying experienced, causes, perpetrators and perceived consequences.The design of the study used is qualitative with interpretive phenomenological approaches.Research was conducted in one of the islamic boarding school in Jember. Data retrieval using in-depth interview techniques for 30-60 minutes using a recording device. Five participants chosen by purposive sampling method with criteria are students who have experienced bullying, stay in islamic boarding school at least 1 year, able to tell the experience and be willing to become participants.The results of research show that participants understand bullying as violence, the form of bullying that is experienced in the form of physical bullying, verbal bullying and social bullying.Perpetrators are senior as well as peers, due to competition, desire to be recognized, fad and lack of concern from the islamic boarding school. He perceived impact of participants in the form of physical harm, feeling uncomfortable, sad, frightened, anxious to want to stop or leave from the pesantren.The case of bullying occurring in the boarding school environment resulted in a bad impact on the victims in the bio-psycho-and social development of the victim.The islamic boarding school and parents need to give special attention to the students, and give a deeper understanding of how to cope with bullying in pesantren.

Abstract

Adolescence is a time of change in developmental and social domains which can be accompanied by behavioral problems such as aggressive behavior. Aggressiveness among adolescents can raise concerns about a teenager's mental health and is defined as a behavioral and emotional response that involves other people. Aggressive behavior can be a mental health problem for young adolescents and is defined as both behavioral and emotional in nature. Considering the importance of promoting mental health in adolescents, community service activities need to be carried out in teacher training using the me-health go application in an effort to aggressively control adolescent students at Jember High School. The training activity provided to teachers is in the form of an application called me-health go where the main focus of this application is prevention, early intervention, assessment and screening as well as additional mental health care through the application. The results of the community service activities carried out showed that of the 50 teachers who took part in training activities on using the me-health go application in an effort to control aggression among teenage students, 74% had good knowledge and 26% had sufficient knowledge. The results of the difference test using the Wilcoxon test showed that there was a difference in pretest and posttest knowledge with a p value of 0.000>0.05. Me health go is an application that helps teachers monitor adolescent mental health

Abstract

Bullying at school is still a serious problem for teenagers because it has a big impact on the victim. Bullying causes both physical and psychological problems. The most frequent psychological impact is disruption of self-confidence. The aim of this research was to analyze the relationship between bullying and the level of self-confidence among teenage students at one of the junior high schools in Jember. This research uses a correlational quantitative design with a cross sectional method. The number of samples used was 69 respondents with a total sampling technique. The measuring instruments used for both variables are a bullying questionnaire and a self-confidence questionnaire which have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used the Spearman - Rank test. The results of the research show a p value of 0.000 (p<0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between bullying and the level of self-confidence in teenagers at SMPN X Jember. Bullying makes a significant contribution to the level of self-confidence in adolescents. Bullying behavior is a factor that can influence a teenager's level of self-confidence. The higher the level of bullying experienced, the lower the level of self-confidence of teenage students. Special attention and handling of bullying cases in schools needs to be increased, both for victims and perpetrators

Abstract

Introduction: The dating behavior of teenagers in Indonesia is quite worrying and leads to risky behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family structure and dating behavior of young women. Methods: This research method uses quantitative research with cross sectional design. The population in this study were 226 young women obtained from the results of the Slovin formula and a sample of 144 respondents, the sample technique used wasSimple random sampling.The independent variable in this study is family structure and the dependent variable is the dating behavior of young women. Collecting data using a questionnaire about the characteristics of respondents, dating behavior practices, and family structure. Results: Most of the family structures of young women are in poor family structures, while most of the courtship behavior in young women is in risky courting. The results of the analysis with Fisher's test obtained a p-value of 0.028 < α 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there isrelationship between family structure and dating behavior of young women. Conclusions: The less good the family structure is, the more risky dating behavior is, the better the family structure, the less risky dating behavior is. Teenagers should be able to avoid risky dating behavior. Families should provide health education about healthy dating and provide supervision. Family nurses should be able to provide sexuality health education to adolescent families.

Abstract

Aggressive as physical or verbal behavior intended to cause harm. Meanwhile, aggressive behavior is a serious problem that has a negative impact on adolescent mental health and achievement in school. The purpose of this study was to describe aggressive behavior in adolescents in high school environments in urban and rural areas of Jember Regency. The design of this research is a quantitative descriptive research. This research was conducted in senior high schools in rural and urban areas in Jember Regency with a total sample of 250 respondents who were selected using a purposive sampling method. This study used univariate analysis, wherein the results of this study will display demographic data and a description of aggressive behavior in adolescents. The results of the emotion study showed that 46.4% of respondents had verbally aggressive behavior, 29.6% of respondents had physically aggressive behavior, 12.8% of respondents had angry aggressive behavior and 11.2% of respondents had hostile aggressive behavior. Based on the results of this study that the aggressive behavior of adolescents tends to be high, so to overcome aggressive behavior in adolescents it is necessary to make various efforts by paying attention to the dimensions of development in adolescence so that the efforts developed are able to overcome various causes of mental health problems faced by adolescents and adolescents have resilience..
