Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research aims to obtain empirical evidence of compensation capability in increasing employee engagement and organizational commitment, both directly and through intervening employee engagement. This type of research was quantitative research. The method of this research used SEM-PLS. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 80 Employees of Goods and Services Procurement Agency of Batu City. The empirical evidence obtained that Higher compensation is able to encourage increased Employee engagement and Organizational Commitment. In addition, Employee engagement was able to act as a strong mediator of the effect of Compensation on Organizational Commitment. This finding was supported by the descriptive statistics of the three research variables that obtain a high average response. It wassupported by the salary according to the needs in the salary indicator, perseverance in difficulties in the vigor indicator, and a sense of belonging in the affective commitment indicator.Keywords: Compensation, Employee engagement, Organizational Commitment. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kemampuan kompensasi dalam meningkatkan employee engagement maupun terhadap komitmen organisasi, baik secara langsung maupun melalui intervening employee engagement. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah SEM-PLS. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 80 Pegawai Pengelola Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa Kota Batu.  Bukti empiris yang diperoleh adalah  Kompensasi yang semakin tinggi mampu mendorong peningkatan Employee engagement maupun terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. Selain itu, Employee engagement mampu berperan sebagai mediasi yang kuat atas pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. Temuan ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif ketiga variabel penelitian yang mendapatkan tanggapan responden rata-rata tinggi, yang didukung oleh gaji sesuai kebutuhan dalam indikator gaji, tekun dalam kesulitan dalam indikator vigor, dan rasa memiliki dalam indikator affective commitment.Kata kunci:    Kompensasi, Employee engagement, Komitmen Organisasi.
