Abstract

This study aim is to test the money neutrality in a narrow sense (M1) and a broad sense (M2) to the growth of output (GDP) in Indonesia, both in short term and long term. This research uses quarterly time series data at 2010 - 2016 periods. The analysis tool used is Error Correction Model (ECM). The results show that short-term money supply (M1 and M2) affect on output growth. However, in the long term, only money circulation in a broad sense (M2) affects on output growth, which also means that money is not neutral because it affects the real sector (GDP). Keywords: M1, M2, Population, Capital, and Economic Growth.

Abstract

Abstract

Economic growth shows the extent to which economic activity will generate additional public income in a certain period, that is, an economy is said to experience growth if the real income of the community in a certain year is greater than the real income of the community in the previous year. Economic growth is the most important factor in development that determines the success of the development of a region/region which is measured based on the high or low levels of economic growth achieved. This study aims to analyze the effect of General Allocation Funds (DAU), Special Allocation Funds (DAK) and Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) on Economic Growth and Human Development Index (IPM). The object of research was carried out in South Halmahera Regency in 2012-2021 using the multiple linear regression analysis testing method. The results show that the influence of the General Allocation Fund, the Special Allocation Fund and the Profit Sharing Fund simultaneously influence Economic Growth with the Human Development Index in South Halmahera Regency. While the results of partial testing, the influence of General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds and Profit Sharing Funds also affect Economic Growth with the Human Development Index in South Halmahera Regency. This indicates that the greater the regional potential revenue, it will be able to increase the achievement of Economic Growth and the Human Development Index.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the economic potential of the agriculture, plantation, fisheries, tourism, and trade sectors in Central Lolada. This research is a descriptive study using primary data analysis through interviews with all village heads. In order to raise village competitiveness, mapping of local potential needs to identify and explore potential that can be done by the community it self so that it will be appropriate in village development because the village as a government (head and community) clearly understands the potential of both natural resources and available human resources. The results show that the plantation sector is the main commodity produced, while the fishery sector is still very concerned and needs a touch of policy. For the tourism sector, there is only one tourist destination managed by the government. Meanwhile, for the trade sector, it is dominated by household scale industries. The Covid-19 pandemic doesn't really interfere with people's production activities, there is only the trade sector because it's limited by policy.

Abstract

Investigating structural relations between sectors is important from a policy point of view. A clear perspective on cross-sectoral relations can be useful in formulating profitable and appropriate development strategies. This study compares Agricultural Demand Led Industrialization (ADLI) and Export-Led Industrialization (ELI) strategies. In making a comparison, the two strategies are used; multiplier matrix that describes the impact on endogenous variables due to changes in exogenous variables. Impact analysis with a simulation of the investment amount to see the impact on the formation of output, creation of gross value added, absorption of labor, income, and taxes. Cluster analysis aims to classify objects based on the characteristics of the observed object. The One Way Anova test is useful to determine whether there are differences in the investment simulation of each category, ADLI and ELI. The results of this study indicate that the sectors in the ADLI category have advantages in creating gross added value. In contrast, the sectors in the ELI category have advantages in creating output, income, taxes and employment. Furthermore, using the One-Way ANOVA test, it can be concluded that statistically, there is no average difference between ADLI and ELI in the output, labor, income, and tax variables.
