Abstract

As a result of the pandemic that started in Wuhan, China and spread to all corners of the world including Indonesia. Impact felt by residents the world including Indonesia is very complicated. The number of employees who have been laid off has led to a decline in the economy which has affected the education sector. Physical distancing that is applied has many impacts on people's lives. Markets, malls, offices and even schools are closed. All activities are carried out online, even for schools, which are usually face-to-face, are now held virtually. The number of complaints that arise because of this pandemic starts from complaints about assignments because teachers only give assignments without explaining first, on the other hand students are told to learn and maintain health. We know that the large number of tasks given by the teacher indirectly affects the mental health of students. Another problem is the single tuition fee (UKT) which sometimes gets stuck because parents are laid off creates new problems and often this makes students drop out of school / college. In this case the role of government is needed. The government is expected to go directly to the field to review the conditions of the affected communities. Not only entrusting it to subordinates or officials. Especially in the field of education because the education of the nation's children is the main hope of the Indonesian nation. This research uses the literary method and it is hoped that this research can have an influence on education in Indonesia and education can get great attention by the government.

Abstract

Children who have learning difficulties really need to be considered, so that they can realize their dreams in the future. One of the initial steps in achieving this goal is that children must be able to read, because reading is a bridge so that children can get to know what they want to know. By finding out (know) what the child likes, the teacher can re-develop how to teach the child to read. Arouse children's curiosity by telling hero characters related to the problems they are facing. This study aims to accelerate students in learning, especially for students who cannot read. Research uses a literature method with a descriptive approach to reveal something as it is. Based on research conducted by children's experts in Indonesia, the interest in reading is still far from average. So that the culture of reading is still not very applied in Indonesia. Through this study, the researcher discussed how important it is for students to use the KWL method in learning so that teachers do not have difficulty in teaching reading students, especially low-grade elementary school students. This KWL method has three stages, namely the pre-reading, reading and post-reading stages. So that students can easily understand the lessons explained by the teacher in class. In addition to being easy to understand, the KWL method also makes students remember learning easily because the reading methods used are made interesting so that students' learning motivation increases.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama merupaka mata kuliah yang wajib dipelajari oleh setiap mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi Indonesia. Begitu juga di Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) termasuk mata kuliah yang wajib diambil oleh Mahasiswa dengan bobot tiga SKS. Hal tersebut berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pemahaman agama mahasiswa terutama di kampus umum yang biasanya pembelajaran PAI-nya hanya dua SKS. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh pemahaman agama mahasiswa jurusan otomotif UNP setelah belajar PAI dengan bobot tiga SKS. Untuk pengukuran tersebut digunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengujian regresi sederhana. Sehingga diperoleh hasil (Pengaruh Pembelajaran PAI) terhadap variabel terikat (Pemahaman Agama) adalah sebesar 51,6 %. Implikasi dari penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa otomotif dari data menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan sehingga dengan adanya penelitian ini menjadi evaluasi bahwa mata kuliah PAI dengan bobot tiga SKS dapat memberikan pemahaman agama kepada mahasiswa teknik otomotif sehingga dapat diterapkan di kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun disamping itu penulis menyarankan untuk terus menambah daya ingat dan pemahaman agama dengan mengikuti organisasi kerohanian baik di fakultas maupun tingkat universitas.
