Abstract

This article aims to describe the pattern of the leadership of Kiai and activities Pondok Pesantren Buntet Cirebon West Java. The method used is qualitative descriptive. In conclusion: (1) the Leadership of Kiai in organizing and managing pesantren Buntet shows responsibility, attention, full of appeal and a big influence for the students. Attitudes, behavior, and actions Kiai observed and interpreted by the students in the life sehani-day in pesantren Buntet. (2) Pesantren Buntet manages the learning shalaf with the system sorogan, wetonan, halaqah, and Bahtsul Masa ‘il and Khalaf with the learning system of the modern and innovative. (3) the supporting Factors in managing learning in Pesantren Buntet: (a) lack of awareness, willingness, competence, and expertise of the Kiai sepuh and manager better. (b) maintaining the attitude and behavior of noble character. (c) the relationship of Kiai and santri, dan Kiai with the community very well. The inhibiting factor is: (a) minimal supporting infrastructure and facilities. (b) the limited education budget. (c) the limited local learning and infrastructure of learning. (d) the management of the boarding school of the weak and the Period of study for quite a long time. (4) the Efforts of the improvement and development of pesantren Buntet of endeavoring to overcome the obstacles faced Pesantren Buntet.

Abstract

In this study, the researcher aims to discuss the adaptation efforts of Kyai Abbas in the world of Education. Kyai Abbas, as the central figure of West Java in the struggle of November 10, 1945, in Surabaya has made a major contribution to the world of educational thought. This is what becomes interesting to discuss. The movement of the independence struggle carried out by Kyai Abbas through education had a great influence on the birth of a cadre of scholars and freedom fighters for the country. Kyai Abbas maintains religious knowledge on the one hand and educates millions of students to defend the homeland. Pesantren became the basis of movement for the fighters in freeing their country from colonization. The approach used in this study is a literature study with inductive analysis. The procedure used in this study was carried out in three stages, namely orientation, exploration, and focused study. However, previous researchers first determine the object of study research by determining the material and formal objects of research. This is done so that research researchers remain focused on the problem under study, namely the problem of educational thinking Kyai Abbas. From the results of the discussion, the researchers managed to reveal the study's findings, that Kyai Abbas managed to make agitation efforts against a condition of colonization through the line of educational thought. Buntet Pesantren Cirebon is not only a place to print ulama cadres but also print fighters for the country that is being colonized. Kyai Abbas built the foundation for Buntet Pesantren by producing alumni with religious knowledge and militancy in defending the homeland.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the leadership style of Nyai Hajah Masriyah Amva at the Pondok Pesantren Kebon Jambu Al-Islamy Baban Ciwaringin, Cirebon Regency. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The research method used in this study is a phenomenological study method. This research was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Kebon Jambu Al-Islamy Babakan Ciwaringin, Cirebon Regency. Data collection techniques that will be used by researchers are Study Observation Interview, documentary, Triangulation. Data analysis in this study was carried out at the time of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The leadership style used by Nyai Masriyah Amva can be called a charismatic leadership style where she always invites in terms of goodness and worship as described in the characteristics of a charismatic leader. In addition, Mrs. Hj. Masriyah Amva is also said to have a collective leadership pattern where the pesantren itself has taken the form of a foundation as a forum and becomes an impersonal organization, the division of authority in management is regulated functionally, so that in the end all of it is accommodated and driven according to modern management rules. Mrs. Hj. Masriyah Amva's leadership style also has a democratic leadership style, this is characterized by her always open attitude, involving all important elements in the Islamic Boarding School for the advancement of the cottage and being open to the choices of her children in all matters, respecting opinions and other people's choices ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gaya kepemimpinan nyai hajah masriyah amva di pondok pesantren kebon jambu al-islamy babakan ciwaringin kabupaten cirebon. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode studi fenomenologis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Kebon Jambu Al- Islamy Babakan Ciwaringin Kabupaten Cirebon Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan peneliti yaitu Wawancara Observasi Studi, dokumenter, Triangulasi Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukanpadasaatpengumpulan data, Reduksi Data, Penyajian data dan Verifikasi data. Gaya kepemimpinan yang dipakai Nyai Masriyah Amva bisa dibilang gaya kepemiminan karismatik dimana beliau selalu mengajak dalam hal kebaikan dan ibadah seperti yang dijabarkan dalam ciri-ciri pemimpin karismatik. Selain itu Ny.Hj.Masriyah Amva juga dikatan memiliki pola kepemimpinan kolektif dimana pesantren sendiri sudah berbentuk yayasan sebagai wadah dan menjadi organisasi impersonal, pembagian wewenang dalam tata laksana kepengurusan diatur secara fungsional, sehingga akhirnya semua itu diwadahi dan digerakkan menurut tata aturan manajemen modern.. Gaya kepemimpinan Ny.Hj.Masriyah Amva juga memiliki gaya kepemimpinan demokratis ini dintandai sikap beliau yang selalu terbuka, melibatkan segala elemen-elemen penting yang ada di Pondok Pesantren guna kemajuan pondok serta bersifat terbuka atas pilihan putra-putrinya dalam segala hal, menghargai pendapat dan pilihan orang lain.
