Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan masyarakat untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring pada semua elemen pendidikan. Guru merupakan  elemen terpenting terhadap jalannya kegiatan belajar mengajar, sehingga guru dituntut beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan sistem pembelajaran. Guru  perlu mengembangkan kompetensi dalam mengelola pembelajaran setelah adanya pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi guru pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Kabupaten Purworejo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, yaitu menafsirkan data yang didapat dari lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket yang disebarkan melalui google formulir, sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa, kompetensi pedagogik guru SD Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Purworejo dalam kategori baik dengan persentase 66,5%. Kompetensi kepribadian guru SD Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Purworejo dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 94%. Kompetensi sosial guru SD Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Purworejo dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 83%. Kompetensi profesional guru SD Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Purworejo dalam kategori baik dengan persentase 79%.Kata Kunci: Covid-19, Kompetensi guru, Pembelajaran daring Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic requires people to carry out online learning on all elements of education. A teacher is one of the prominent subjects in teaching and learning activities who has to quickly adapt to changes in the learning system. The Teachers need to be competent in managing learning that is different from before the Covid-19  pandemic. This study aims to provide an overview teachers’ competence during the Covid-19 pandemic at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Purworejo. The research method used descriptive by using a quantitative approach, namely interpreting data obtained from the field. Data collection using questionnaires distributed through google forms. The research data has analizied through Quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The research showed that the pedagogic teachers’ competency of  Muhammadiyah in Purworejo Teacher is in  good category with 66,5% percentage. The personality competency of muhammadiyah elementary school teachers in Purworejo district in the category is very good with a 94% percentage. The social competence of muhammadiyah elementary school teachers in Purworejo district is very good with a percentage of 83% while the teachers’ Competence of  SD Muhammadiyah in Purworejo District is in t good category with a 79% percentage.Keywords: covid-19, teacher competency, online learning

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires people to learn online, one of which is at the elementary school level. Principals must be able to play a role as managers in managing learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study aims to analyze the role of the principal as a manager and the pedagogical competence of teachers in online learning during the Covid-19 period. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, namely by interpreting the data obtained from the field. Data collection was carried out on 4 principals and 49 teachers using a questionnaire distributed via google forms. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results showed that the principal's role as a manager in online learning was not optimal in the indicators of the school determining the curriculum used in online learning (44%) and the principal facilitating support for online learning (50%). At the same time, the pedagogic competence also showed less than optimal in Playing their competencies is shown by the 5 lowest percentage indicators, including understanding the cognitive development of students (59%), designing learning methods (52%), designing learning models (56%), carrying out assessments of learning outcomes (54.5%), and conducting material assessments. (56%). With a strong commitment from teachers and principals, various efforts and programs carried out during online learning will optimally achieve learning objectives.
