Abstract

Comprehensive monitoring in virtual laboratory learning needs a task model. This model was design based on inquiry skills, social and scientific communication of prospective physics teachers. The development of these three skills is still a problem in recent research on virtual laboratory learning. This research was research and development (RD) using a preliminary study (literature studies, field surveys, and preparation of the initial product) and development of the model (within limited testing). Respondents were 54 prospective physics teachers and five physics lecturers from several universities in Indonesia. The analysis was done by descriptive qualitative, and quantitative. There are two essential parts of the task model. The first part consists of six inquiry steps, which describe the interactions between students with their virtual experiments. The second part consists of three inquiry steps that analyze how students communicate their virtual experiments through verbal, picture, and diagrammatic representations. Based on these findings, the task model's design is essential to develop inquiry skills, social and scientific communication for prospective physics teachers. The researcher can use this task model in the next step of RD.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires people to learn online, one of which is at the elementary school level. Principals must be able to play a role as managers in managing learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study aims to analyze the role of the principal as a manager and the pedagogical competence of teachers in online learning during the Covid-19 period. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, namely by interpreting the data obtained from the field. Data collection was carried out on 4 principals and 49 teachers using a questionnaire distributed via google forms. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results showed that the principal's role as a manager in online learning was not optimal in the indicators of the school determining the curriculum used in online learning (44%) and the principal facilitating support for online learning (50%). At the same time, the pedagogic competence also showed less than optimal in Playing their competencies is shown by the 5 lowest percentage indicators, including understanding the cognitive development of students (59%), designing learning methods (52%), designing learning models (56%), carrying out assessments of learning outcomes (54.5%), and conducting material assessments. (56%). With a strong commitment from teachers and principals, various efforts and programs carried out during online learning will optimally achieve learning objectives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi penelitian pendahuluan mengenaideskripsi kemampuan awal peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Fisikakelas X MAN Kutowinangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuitingkat kemampuan awal peserta didik pada mata pelajaranfisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif.Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN Kutowinangun. Subyek penelitianadalah 29 orang peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1. Data diperoleh darihasil tes kemampuan awal peserta didik pada materi hakikat fisika danprosedur ilmiah serta pengukuran. Hasil tes dianalisis nilai secarakuantitatif dan membuat interpretasi hasil deskripsi sesuai denganpermasalahan serta membuat kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian iniditemukan bahwa kemampuan awal peserta didik pada indikatorkemampuan awal peserta didik sebanyak 51%, motivasi sebanyak50%, menyusun alternatif pemecahan masalah sebanyak 75%,membuat kesimpulan sebanyak 70%.. Penelitian pendahuluan ini akandilanjutkan ke penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengetahui kelayakanmedia pembelajaran berbasis android dengan mengunakan kontenaplikasi pocket book.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi penelitian pendahuluanmengenai deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada matapelajaran Fisika kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitiatif. Penelitian ini dilakukandi SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo. Subyek penelitian adalah 32 orang siswakelas X MIPA 3. Data diperoleh dari hasil tes kemampuan berpikirkritis pada materi hakikat fisika dan prosedur ilmiah sertapengukuran. Hasil tes dianalisis nilai secara kuantitatif dan membuatinterpretasi hasil deskripsi sesuai dengan permasalahan danpertanyaan penelitian serta membuat kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitianini ditemukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik padaindikator mengidentifikasi masalah sebesar 82%, mengumpulkanberbagai informasi yang relevan sebesar 78%, menyusun sejumlahalternatif pemecahan masalah sebesar 41%, membuat kesimpulansebesar 62%, mengungkapkan pendapat 61%, dan mengevaluasiargumen sebesar 47%. Berdasarkan UU No. 16 tahun 2007 tentangstandar kualifikasi akademik dan kompetensi guru dijelaskan bahwaguru dituntut untuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasidalam pembelajaran yang diampu. Dengan ini guru harus mampumelaksanakan pembelajaran dengan mengunakan teknlologi danjugadituntut untuk mengembangkan teknlologi di berbagai mediapendidikan. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat digunakan peserta didikdimanapun, kapanpun, dan didukung fitur-fitur menarik yaituhandphone. Menurut Rahayu (2017:16) istilah mobile learning (mleraning)mengacu kepada pengunaan perangkat teknologi (TI)gengam dan bergerak, seperti PDA, telepon gengam, laptop, dan tabletPC, dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Mobile learning dapatdigunakan peserta didik untuk belajar secara mandiri, dandimungkinkan dapat di akses untuk belajar peserta didik tanpa terikatruang dan waktu. Sehinga media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkanhandphone dapat disebut mobile learning. Penelitian pendahuluan iniakan dilanjutkan ke penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengetahuikelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis mobile learning padaplatfrom android dengan mengunakan App Inventor untukmeningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi penelitian pendahuluan mengenaideskripsi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Fisikakelas X SMA Negeri 4 Purworejo. Kurangnya kemampuan berpikirkritis peserta didik terhadap masalah yang dihadapi karena tampilanbuku pedoman belajar kuran gg menarik dan kurangnya contoh yangsesuai dengan lingkungan sekitar. Dengan menggunakan mediapembelajaran booklet etnosains fotografi, diharapkan peserta didikdapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan diSMA Negeri 4 Purworejo. Subyek penelitian adalah 30 orang siswakelas X-1. Data diperoleh dari hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritispada materi usaha dan energi. Hasil tes dianalisis nilai secarakuantitatif dan membuat interpretasi hasil deskripsi sesuai denganpermasalahan dan pertanyaan penelitian serta membuat kesimpulan.Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritispeserta didik pada indikator mengidentifikasi masalah sebesar 70%,mengumpulkan berbagai informasi yang relevan sebesar 68%,menyusun sejumlah alternatif pemecahan masalah sebesar 40%,membuat kesimpulan sebesar 56%, mengungkapkan pendapat 60%,dan mengevaluasi argumen sebesar 47%. Penelitian pendahuluan iniakan dilanjutkan ke penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengetahuikelayakan media pembelajaran booklet etnosains fotografi untukmeningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics guna mengetahui: (1) kelayakan alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics pada pembelajaran Fisika SMA, (2) respon peserta didik terhadap alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics, dan (3) peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah menggunakan alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yaitu pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains, lembar angket respon, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan tes/soal keterampilan proses sains. Hasil analisis data yaitu: (1) hasil validasi alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics dari keempat validator diperoleh kelayakan alat peraga sebesar 3,38 dengan kategori baik dan rerata reabilitas semua validator sebesar 91,5% dengan kategori sangat reliabel, sehingga alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. (2) Respon peserta didik diperoleh persentase rerata 85% dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran dengan alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics adalah baik. (3) keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dilihat dari nilai pre-test dan post-test pada tahap penerapan diperoleh N-gain 0,54 dan termasuk dalam kategori peningkatan sedang. Dengan demikian, alat peraga berbasis ethnophysics yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dikategorikan baik dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to develop a tourist village through the distribution of clean water in the Gunung Buthak tourist village of Tlogokotes Bagelen , Purworejo , Central Java. The participants in this activity were members of the Pokdarwis awareness group for Mount Buthak tourism. This activity consists of three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The method applied is counseling and workshops on clean water management.The results of the evaluation show that the community service activities have been carried out properly. The participants were also enthusiastic and actively participated in this activity. This is shown from the evaluation results which show an increase in community knowledge about the use and distribution of clean water as a form of village tourism marketing. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that Mount Buthak tourism can be widely known by tourists so that many tourists visit Mount Buthak so as to increase the economic value and welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Bahan ajar turut memegang peranan penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, melalui bahan ajar peserta didik dan guru memiliki panduan dalam belajar maupun mengajar. Sebagian besar bahan ajar yang digunakan guru dan atau/peserta didik saat ini berupa buku paket, LKS, maupun modul, yang disediakan oleh penerbit. Sebagian guru belum menyusun bahan ajarnya secara mandiri, faktor keterampilan, waktu, dan tenaga menjari alasan utamanya. Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam menyusun bahan ajar digital sehingga dihasilkan produk bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah yang disusun secara mandiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi informasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Peserta kegiatan adalah guru-guru SMK Negeri 7 Purworejo yang berjumlah 21 orang dari seluruh mata pelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi dan kemampuan Guru dalam menyusun bahan ajar digital. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil produk bahan ajar yang dihasilkan inovatif dan bervariasi. Guru tertarik memanfaatkan produk bahan ajar yang dihasilkan dalam pembelajaran di kelasnya masing-masing. Sebagai tindak lanjut akan dilakukan assesmen terkait efektivitas pemanfaatan bahan ajar digital sehingga diketahui tingkat efektivitasnya.

Abstract

This research produces E-learning media assisted by Web Appgeyser using Physics E-module with Quantity and Unit material. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. This study uses a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Purworejo with the research subject in a limited trial of class X6 totaling 10 students and a broad trial phase totaling 71 students in class X4 class X7. The instruments used in the study were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, implementation of lesson plans, and tests of students' critical thinking skills. Data analysis techniques in this study are validity test, reliability test, and N-gain test. Based on the research results obtained: (1) the results of the validation of learning materials seen from the two validators got an average value of 3.8 in the "very good" category and media experts got an average value of 3.8 with the "very good" category, so it can be said to be valid, (2) the practicality of learning media as seen from the implementation of lesson plans with a percentage agreement of 99% which is included in the "reliable" category and student response questionnaires with a percentage of 82.06% in the "good" category, (3) the effectiveness of learning media as seen from the the increase in learning outcomes of critical thinking skills is 0.78 with the "high" category.

Abstract

 This research was carried out to realize and support the availability of semi-digital teaching props as a suitable learning media to be implemented in physics learning on Pascal's Law material. The research design used is to adapt the ADDIE development model that focuses on the purpose of designing and knowing how the feasibility of the product that has been designed. The research subjects involved in this research were two media expert lecturers, two material expert lecturers, and nine students of the Physics Education University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo. The feasibility of teaching props is assessed from 3 aspects: laboratory trials, validity tests, and limited trials. Based on the results of research that has been done, obtained: 1) In laboratory testing, the Pascal's Law teaching props system obtained a very small error rate, namely on piston 1 (pressure 1) an average of 1.048% was obtained and on piston 2 (pressure 2) was obtained 0.219%, 2) In the product validity test, the average percentage of assessment by media expert lecturers is 79.514% belonging to the "adequate" category, and the average percentage of assessment by material expert lecturers is 83.333% belonging to the "very feasible" category, 3) In a limited trial, which shows the average percentage of student responses on aspects of benefits, presentation of tools, and physical appearance of 84% is classified in the "good" category. Thus, it can be concluded that the product that has been designed in the form of an Arduino-based Pascal's Law teaching prop is said to be feasible to be used as a medium in learning physics.
