Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the training programs of sprinting, middle distance running, and long distance running athletes. This type of research is the study evaluation using CIPP models. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with qualitative data analysis model of Miles & Huberman. The results of the evaluation include: (1) context  evaluation shows that there are lack of budget, facilities, government’s support, sponsorship, health experts, test instrumens and test spaces, (2) evaluation of the inputt indicates there is a lack of facilities and infrastructure as the main support of the running track, (3) evaluation of the process demonstrates the ability of trainers to implement the training process is very helpful to the achievement of a good coaching program and achievements of athletes. The recruitment of athletes should be open to all people, so there should not be the impression of nepotism and collusion, (4) evaluation of the product shows the achievements have been at national and international level. Achievement would be better and more sustainable if supported by a context and a perfect addition of the input to the process which has been good.

Abstract

This article was written to (1) the effectiveness of training 3x a week and 4x a week based on the training process at the fitness center and sports club. (2) the difference in the effectiveness of weight training with a frequency of 3x a week and 4x a week. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in the effectiveness of weight training with 3x workouts a week and 4x week training on muscle hypertrophy.The approach used in data retrieval is a literature review approach with descriptive methods. Based on the analysis of the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that weight training with a frequency of 4 times a week of exercise is more effective than the frequency of 3 times a week training based on public exercises and exercises carried out in training programs carried out in official sports development.

Abstract

Sports development through national sports coaching and talent scouting could be an instrument to sports development, performance improvement, and sports management development. The result of this review literature is to understand problems within sports coaching and talent scouting in Indonesia. The research is using secondary data. The method used in collecting data is literature review, using published literature online within 2017-2021 and relevant research results. Collected data is compulated, analysed, and deduced in order to be able to give useful recommendation. Literature review results related to sports coaching and talent scouting in Indonesia portray that the sports coaching and talent scouting in Indonesia has evolved and done well in some sports. Each sports stakeholder Has very important role in sport coaching and talent scouting. Main organization and coach needs synergy in developing sport coaching and talent scouting. Coaching and talent scouting need to be done more massive in some areas included remote area as the human resource’s potency in Indonesia is promising in some sports.
