Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the vulnerability of malnutrition in every village of SentaniDistrict by analyzing the factors of malnutrition acording to UNICEF standard usingAnalytical Hierarchy Proses method. These factors include nutrition, infectious diseases,parenting, food availability, sanitation, and poverty. These factors are known as the criteria inthe AHP process that use to determine the preferred alternative (the village) which isvulnerable to malnutrition. The result of this study can be used as a Decision SupportSystem (DSS) to help the stakeholders in addressing the malnutrition problems on the righttarget by pressing the factors

Abstract

Kampung Yoboi yang terletak di tepi Danau Sentani,memiliki hutan sagu yang berperan penting baik secara ekologi, etnobotani dan ekonomi. Masyarakat memanfaatkan tepung sagu dan jamur sagu yang tumbuh secara alami pada ampas sagu sebagai makanannya. Namun masyarakat belum mengetahui nilai gizi jamur sagu tersebut dan cara memanfaatkan limbah ampas sagu sebagai media budidaya jamur. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kandungan gizi jamur sagu, cara budidaya jamur dan membuat berbagai makanan berbahan dasar jamur. Metode yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan Participatory Planning. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para peserta sangat antusias dalam diskusi tentang kandungan gizi jamur dan juga sangat aktif mengikuti praktek budidaya jamur serta memasak makanan berbahan dasar jamur.Kegiatan ini telah sukses dilaksanakan berkat partisipasi aktif dari seluruh masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstract Lake Sentani is located in Jayapura, Papua. Sentani people live in 26 villages along the coast and small islands around the lake. One of those islands is Yoboy Village, where a Onomi Niphi Reading House has been operating to provide library for elementary and senior high schools. The reading house is becoming center for various programs from various parties. Lake Sentani education program for students in Onomi Niphi Reading House was conducted to increase their knowledge of characteristics and fish species of Lake Sentani, as well as to develop digital education package and distributed to students in Yoboi Village and other students through social media. The program was conducted in Onomi Niphi Reading House, Jayapura at June 26 and July 3, 2021 through seminar and answer-question methods. Pretest was conducted before the class started and posttest applied after the class. Evaluation of the program was based on tests result and categorized to be distinguished, excellent, moderate, and poor. The test results showed the improvement of students’ knowledge on Lake Sentani. The documentation of the lake knowledge in digital format was distributed to the students and through social media. This will help the students to be aware of the improtance of conserving Lake Sentani. Abstrak Danau Sentani terletak di Kabupaten Jayapura, Papua. Danau ini ditempati oleh penduduk asli Sentani di 26 kampung yang menyebar di pulau-pulau dan tepian danau. Salah satunya adalah Kampung adat Yoboy, dimana terdapat Rumah Baca Onomi Niphi yang menyediakan perpustakaan bagi pelajar. Pembelajaran lingkungan tentang Danau Sentani diberikan kepada siswa Rumah Baca Onomi Niphi di kampung ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka tentang karakteristik dan jenis-jenis ikan Danau Sentani, membuat media pembelajaran digital (video) nya serta menyebar luaskannya ke pelajar di rumah baca ini dan melalui berbagai media sosial. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Baca Onomi-Niphi, Kampung Adat Yoboy, Kabupaten Jayapura, tanggal 26 Juni dan 3 Juli 2021 dalam bentuk ceramah dan tanya jawab. Pre test diberikan sebelum pembelajaran dan post test diberikan setelah pembelajaran. Evaluasi hasil pembelajaran ditentukan berdasarkan hasil-hasil test yang dikelompokkan menjadi kategori sangat baik, baik, cukup dan kurang. Hasil pre test dan post test pada pembelajaran tentang Danau Sentani menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan anak-anak meningkat setelah pembelajaran lingkungan tentang Danau Sentani. Dokumentasi materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk digital dan penyebar luasannya diharapkan dapat mempertahankan pengetahuan anak tentang Danau Sentani. Pengetahuan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepedulian anak terhadap Danau Sentani.

Gereja Kristen Injili Harapan Abepura Papua processes data by conventionally collecting congregational and inventory data and recapitulating it in Microsoft Excel. This process causes the data not to be up-to-date, the process of adding inefficient data and data that is vulnerable to lose. Information systems are solutions in data management.  A Data and inventory system was created to help the process of efficient data management at GKI Harapan. The waterfall is used to develop the system, consisting of requirements, design, testing, integration, and maintenance.  System Modeling Methods using UML with PHP programming language using codeigniter framework and MySQL as database. The research results in system development have been carried out well and are used at GKI Harapan Abepura.

Abstract

eRaport merupakan salah satu bagian yang mendukung stakeholder di sekolah dalam mendokumentasikan hasil penilaian belajar. Dimasa pandemik, eRaport dapat menjawab kebutuhan siswa dalam mengetahui hasil pembelajaran, juga tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Meskipun demikian, sampai saat ini penulis belum menemukan aplikasi raport online yang ada di wilayah Jayapura, maupun daerah rural lainnya di Papua yang dapat menolong siswa dalam penerapan pembelajaran online yang lebih transparan dan dapat diakses dari mana saja. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah prototype Raport elektronik, yang dapat menolong siswa untuk melihat hasil pendidikannya kapanpun dan dimanapun ingin diakses. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) yang terdiri dari perencanaan, analisis, desain, implementasi, dan maintenance.  Pemodelan sistem menggunakan Unified Modeling Language dan Pengujian menggunakan Blackbox testing. Aplikasi berhasil dilakukan dengan pengisian berupa data deskriptif dan menghasilkan laporan secara real-time yang dapat diakses oleh siswa kapanpun dan dimanapun.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many aspects of life. In education, the conventional learning process has drastically changed to online. Schools with good resources and infrastructure, of course, can quickly adapt. However, schools with limited infrastructure, as well as low teacher skills, are a challenge. This research is to study the implementation of e-learning in online kindergarten classes from the existing conditions, challenges, and learning strategies that will be applied in PAUD schools in Jayapura City. The results of this study can be used as a reference in making decisions for implementing more effective online learning at the PAUD level. To gather data, a survey was conducted among 20 kindergarten and early childhood teaching staff in Jayapura City using a combination of methods, including contacting the schools, WhatsApp, and Google Forms. The findings reveal that the kindergarten-level teaching staff are predominantly women, aged between 24 and 54 years, with the majority falling within the age range of 35-53 years. The study also highlights the importance of e-learning in the current pandemic, as it enables teachers to document the educational process, remain organized, and provide more effective support to students amid distance restrictions and other challenges. The study results show that e-learning is essential to be prepared, especially during a pandemic. The willingness to engage in e-learning can help teachers document the educational process, be more organized, and be more helpful to students amid distance restrictions and other effects. However, teachers still need training to improve skills related to digital literacy. The training is more on multimedia to support learning and create exciting learning content with Multimedia.

Abstract

The Papuan Sentani language is spoken in the city of Jayapura, Papua. The law states the need to preserve regional languages. One of them is by building an Indonesian-Sentani Papua translation machine. The problem is how to build a translation machine and what model to choose in doing so. The model chosen is Recurrent Neural Network – Gated Recurrent Units (RNN-GRU) which has been widely used to build regional languages in Indonesia. The method used is an experiment starting from creating a parallel corpus, followed by corpus training using the RNN-GRU model, and the final step is conducting an evaluation using Bilingual Evaluation Understudy (BLEU) to find out the score. The parallel corpus used contains 281 sentences, each sentence has an average length of 8 words. The training time required is 3 hours without using a GPU. The result of this research was that a fairly good BLEU score was obtained, namely 35.3, which means that the RNN-GRU model and parallel corpus produced sufficient translation quality and could still be improved.
