Abstract

Usia dini merupakan masa kritis bagi pembentukan karakter anak, guru sangat berkepentingan untuk memberikan proses pembelajaran yang baik, pembelajaran mengenai budaya Aceh harus dikenalkan dengan media yang menarik bagi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis budaya Aceh untuk pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan dalam penelitian yang mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh thiagarajan atau biasa dikenal dengan 4D (four- D), ada 4 tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahan ajar berbasis budaya Aceh yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti masuk dalam kategori sangat layak yaitu memperoleh skor rata-rata 3.9 dengan skor maksimal 4 dalam hal kesesuaian materi dan memperoleh skor rata-rata 3.5 dengan skor maksimal 4 hal kesesuaian media.

Abstract

Aceh people aspire that education in Aceh to be Islamic so the learning program refer to Al-Quran and Hadist. Today, education in Aceh is preparing Islamic curriculum in accord with qanun rule applied, so the researcher analyze the foundation and principle in developing Aceh curriculum for Early Childhood Education and also analyze the component in developing Aceh curriculum for Early Childhood Education. This study used qualitative research method with case study approach. The study result showed that Aceh curriculum for Early Childhood Education has had foundation as base for curriculum development and strong principle to become guidance in implementation so it support the success of education even though it is not explained explicitly. In this Aceh curriculum, there is addition of program content in Early Childhood Education namely Islamic Education which comprise the themes of aqidah, akhlak, fikih, tarikh, Al-Quran and acehness value content which comprise the themes of aceh history, aceh language, aceh peunajoeh, aceh art and culture and geographical position of Aceh. Islamic curriculum means prioritizing akhlak. The development of Aceh curriculum for Early Childhood Education has been good, but there is a need of another thinking about the method which is more effective in children learning through akhlak building. Abstrak Aspirasi masyarakat Aceh menginginkan pendidikan di Aceh bersifat islami sehingga program pembelajaran merujuk pada Al-Quran dan hadist. Saat ini untuk pendidikan di Aceh sedang disiapkan kurikulum yang bersifat islami sesuai dengan peraturan qanun yang berlaku, sehingga peneliti menganalisis landasan dan prinsip dalam pengembangan kurikulum Aceh untuk PAUD dan juga untuk menganalisis komponen pengembangan kurikulum PAUD Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum PAUD Aceh sudah mempunyai landasan sebagai dasar pengembangan kurikulum dan prinsip yang kuat yang menjadi pedoman dalam pelaksanaan sehingga mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan meskipun tidak dijelaskan secara eksplisit. Pada kurikulum Aceh ini adanya tambahan muatan program pada PAUD yaitu Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) meliputi tema aqidah, akhlak, fikih, tarikh, Al-Quran dan Muatan nilai keacehan meliputi tema sejarah aceh, bahasa aceh, peunajoeh aceh, seni budaya aceh, letak geografis aceh. Pada kurikulum Islami berarti bersifat keislaman yaitu menggutamakan akhlak. Pengembangan kurikulum Aceh untuk PAUD ini sudah baik, tetapi perlu adanya pemikiran lain tentang metode yang lebih efektif dalam pembelajaran anak melalui pembinaan akhlak.

Abstract

Cognitive development is the interaction of human maturity with environmental influences. This research aims to improve children's cognitive development through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) Integrated Learning Activities so that it can become a reference for PAUD institutions. This classroom action research used qualitative methods involving 20 children aged 5-6 years. Data is collected through children's performance and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out through qualitative descriptive techniques using percentage formulas. The results of research in cycle 1 showed that children's cognitive development was still low, with details of developing very well (BSB) in 1 child (5%), developing as expected (BSH) in 7 children (35%) starting to develop (MB) 9 children (45 %) and not yet developed (BB) to 3 children (15%). Based on these results, planning for cycle II was carried out with improvements including the game tools used and learning media. The results obtained in cycle II were better than cycle I with details: developing very well (BSB) 10 children (50%) developing as expected (BSH) 8 children (40%), starting to develop (MB) 2 children (10%). Based on this data, it shows that STEAM integrated learning can improve children's cognitive development.

Abstract

Kasturi orange (Citrus microcarpa Bunge) is one of the plants that can be used as medicine, for example to treat coughs, itching or body odor removal. The purpose of this study was to determine whether Kasturi oranges were able to inhibit the growth of Propionabacterium acnes bacteria that causes acne. The research method used is experimental. The experiment consisted of 4 treatments and three repetitions. The results showed that the diameters of the inhibition zones obtained by lime juice at concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% were 3.86 mm, 7.13 mm, 9 mm, 11.1 mm. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Kasturi orange juice is able to inhibit the growth of the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria.
