Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and examine the influence of leadership style, competence and work discipline on employee clinic at PT. Sumo Internusa Indonesia. The decline in the quality of employee performance is caused by the leadership style that is still lacking to control employees, competence is not in accordance with placement, and employee discipline is still minimal. The population in this study all employees who worked at PT. Sumo Internusa Indonesia. The sampling technique using saturated sampling method. The sample in this study were employees at PT. Sumo Internusa Indonesia, amounting to 79 employees. The calculation results of partial hypothesis testing in leadership style research results obtained tcount 2.501> 1.992 and a significant value of 0.015 <0.05. The competency of the research results obtained by t -0,195 <-1,992 and a significant value of 0.846> 0.05. The work discipline results of the study obtained tcount 5.485> 1.992 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Fcount value obtained Fcount value of 25.085 and Ftable value of 2.72 which means Fcount> Ftable and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination test results obtained Adjusted R Square value is 0.481, which means 48.1% in which employee performance variables can be explained by the three variables of 48.1%. While the rest (100% - 48.1% = 51.9%) is explained by other variables not examined, such as the work environment, communication, motivation and so on. The conclusions in this study indicate that partially the leadership style and work discipline have a positive effect and significant to the performance of employees at PT. Sumo Internusa Indonesia. While Competence has a negative and not significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Sumo Internusa Indonesia. Simultaneously leadership style, competency, and work discipline together have positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Sumo Internusa Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper is part of the research that investigates the effect of trademark and product distribution on consumer purchasing decisions. The research was conducted at PT. Ria Tirta Makmur Medan and focused on selling Fren'O branded drinking water that is considered less well known in the market and has been a lot of complaining from consumers as indicated by previous research. This study is a quantitative and explanatory descriptive study involving 150 people as a population and 109 people as samples which is performed through the Slovin formula. The method of data collection is through the questioner as the main instrument, while interviews and documents are also used as a complement. Statistical data is processed through multiple regression analysis and the result of the research indicates that trademark and product distribution simultaneously have positive and significant influence to consumer purchasing decision. Partially variable of trademark (brand) and product distribution each has positive and significant influence to consumer purchasing decision, and simultaneously, trademark and product distribution variables give effective contribution equal to 76% to purchasing decision. In conclusion, simultaneously and partially trademark and product distribution significantly influence Fren'O drinking water purchase decision at PT. Ria Tirta Makmur-Medan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test and analyze the influence of communication, rewards and punishment on employee performance at PT. Jakarta Utama Technology Medan Branch. The population in this study is the number of employees at PT. Jakarta TeiMain Technology Medan Branch, beilocated on Jl. Sisingamangaraja KM 6.5 No.1, Simpang Marendal (Samping Indogrosir) Harjosari 1, Medan Amplas, North Sumatra, totaling 50 people and the sample used in this research was a saturated sample totaling 30 respondents fromicompany similar to employees of PT. Puninar Anji NYK Logistics Indonesia. Methodi used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique in this research is through interviews and questionnairesir, and literature study. The results of this research show that communication has a positive and significant effect on kineiemployee work, and rewards have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and punishment also has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the F test state that the communication, reward and punishment variables have a positive and significant effect on the variablesil employee performance. And the coefficient of determination R² is 52.3% and the remaining 47.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Regional VI Jl. TB. Simatupang No. 124, Sunggal, 20127, District. Medan Sunggal, Medan, North Sumatra. Sampling in this research used a saturated sampling method or often also called a census. The population in this study was 96 Civil Servants. The research results show that: (1) partially the recruitment variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (2) partially the work ability variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (3) partially the work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance ( 4) simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of recruitment, work ability and work discipline on employee performance. The result of the R-Square Determination Coefficient is 0.528. This means that the influence of the independent variables recruitment, work ability, work discipline on the dependent variable employee performance is 52.8%. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and work discipline on employee performance at the Deli Serdang District Attorney's Office Branch in Labuhan Deli. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing surveys and structured questionnaires to collect data from employees. The work environment and work discipline are evaluated as independent variables, while employee performance serves as the dependent variable. By employing statistical analysis, this study examines the significance and strength of the relationship between these factors. The findings contribute to the understanding of how organizational conditions and individual discipline can enhance employee effectiveness. Additionally, this study highlights practical implications for improving workplace management and employee productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of human resource information systems, training, and motivation on employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable. Employee performance in a company is influenced by several aspects, one of which is the human resource information system, training, motivation and work discipline. Human resource information systems are technological systems that produce information outputs that support reliable decisions and are able to make it easier for workers to complete their responsibilities. Then training is carried out according to the needs of employees balanced by motivation. The discipline aspect also provides important things for success in improving employee performance. The research location is at PT.Socfin Indonesia (Socfindo) Medan located at JL.KL. Yos Sudarso No.106. Medan. Where the linear regression analysis method and sample testing researchers in this study used the slovin formula. As a sample of 150 permanent employees and 30 respondents as validity and reliability tests. The classic assumption test and hypothesis testing (path analysis technique). Based on the results of hypothesis testing in this study, it shows that human resource information systems, training, motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. And simultaneously the variables of human resource information systems, training, and motivation have a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. While work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the variables of human resource information systems, training, motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable on employees of PT Socfin Indonesia (SOCFINDO) Medan.

Abstract

Human resources are one of the factors that greatly influence the development of a company. The success or failure of achieving organizational goals all depends on the ability of Human Resources or employees in the organization. These human resources are required to continue to be able to develop their abilities proactively in the organization. This study aims to determine whether the work environment, work motivation, work competence affects employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Pt. Sudira Makmur Indonesia. Research was conducted on 32 employees using saturated sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used were primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data obtained through documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data processed with the SPSS version 20 program, namely at the analysis stage of the data quality test, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing, determination coefficient test (R2) and path analysis. The results obtained in this study indicate (1) There is a significant influence between work environment variables on employee performance, (2) There is no significant influence between work motivation variables on employee performance, (3) There is a significant influence between work competency variables on employee performance, (4) There is no significant influence between work environment variables on job satisfaction, (5) There is a significant influence between work motivation variables on job satisfaction, (6) There is no significant influence between work competency variables on job satisfaction, (7) There is a significant influence between employee performance variables on job satisfaction, (8) Work environment variables through employee performance have a significant effect on job satisfaction, (9) Work motivation through employee performance has no effect on job satisfaction, (10) Work competence through employee performance has a significant effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study was conducted to test the influence of each predetermined variable, both simultaneously and partially. From a total population of 31 companies, and based on the criteria that have been set, a sample of 20 companies was obtained. This type of research is quantitative using secondary data measured on a ratio scale to be processed statistically. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis through the F test show that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) Return on Assets (ROA) variable simultaneously does not have a significant positive effect on stock returns. However, the results of the (partial) t-test show that DER and ROA do not have a significant influence on the stock price.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to test and analyze the Effect ofOccupational Health and Safety (K3), Communication, andLeadership Style on employee performance at Pt. PerkebunanNusantara III Persero Medan. To support the performance ofemployees, the company provides several benefits such as salary,allowances, bonuses, THR, premium school children assistance,and BPJS. In the case of occupational health and safety, which hasbegun to become ineffective, the tools used, which makeemployees a little uncomfortable, indicate that there is still a lackof improvement in the equipment provided by the company. Incommunication, since the Covid 19 pandemic has causedemployees to have a little less communication because of (WFH).The leadership style is also the same due to the pandemic, whichmakes it a little difficult for leaders to supervise employees. Thisresearch was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III, with atotal population of 538 people. This study uses a quantitativedescriptive method, the sampling technique used is randomsampling, to determine the number of samples, this study uses theSlovin formula, the number of samples obtained in this study were84 employees. Researchers used data collection by usingquestionnaires, interviews, documentation studies, Based on theresults (F-test) simultaneously showing the test results, obtainedthe value of Fcount (5.928) > Ftable (2.72) and significantprobability (0.001 <0.05), This means that the influence ofoccupational health and safety, communication, and leadershipstyle has a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance. Based on the results (T-test), the OccupationalHealth and Safety variable (2.412> 1.990) and significant (0.42<0.05) and the Communication variable (2.252> 1.990) andsignificant (0.027 < 0.05), and the Style variable Leadership(2.127>1.990) and significant (0.036 <0.05) means partiallypositive and significant effect on employee performance at PT.Perkebunan Nusantara III Persero Medan

Abstract

Asia Sakti Wahid Foods Manufacture adalah perusahaan manufaktur makanan ringan seperti biskuit, wafer, dan astor, yang saat ini menghadapi penurunan kinerja karyawan. Beberapa karyawan bekerja lambat, hasilnya tidak sesuai harapan, dan waktu penyelesaian sering terlambat. Penurunan ini diduga disebabkan oleh rendahnya kualitas kerja, lingkungan kerja yang kurang nyaman, dan beban kerja berlebih. Karyawan sering kurang teliti, membuat kesalahan dalam pekerjaan dan pencatatan penting, serta kurang inisiatif. Lingkungan kerja tidak mendukung, seperti ruang kerja sempit, berbau, dan tidak kedap suara. Selain itu, beban kerja dianggap melebihi deskripsi tugas tanpa kompensasi lembur, membuat karyawan merasa tertekan dan mempertimbangkan pindah kerja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 139 karyawan PT. Asia Sakti Wahid Foods Manufacture Medan. Teknik penentuan menggunakan rumus slovin dimana jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 103 karyawan PT. Asia Sakti Wahid Foods Manufacture Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan PT. Asia Sakti Wahid Foods Manufacture. Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan PT. Asia Sakti Wahid Foods Manufacture. Beban Kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan PT. Asia Sakti Wahid Foods Manufacture. Secara serempak Kualitas Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja dan Beban Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan PT. Asia Sakti Wahid Foods Manufacture.
