Abstract

Jalan Temanggung Tilung is a 2/2 UD type road (two undirected two-way lanes) with a road width of 5.5 meters, which is a connecting road between two major roads, namely the RTA road. Milono and the path of G. Obos. Over time, the volume of traffic through these roads increases every year, plus roadside activities that also increase cause congestion at several points of the way. To overcome this problem, the local government carried out road widening to increase the capacity and level of road services. The study was conducted to determine the amount of traffic volume, performance, service level of the Temanggung Tilung road section at peak traffic hours before and after road widening. Data retrieval is done by the direct survey to the field to obtain primary data in the form of geometric road data, two-way traffic volume data, and side obstacle data. Performance analysis refers to the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) for urban roads. From the results of data processing, before increasing the road (Type 2/2 UD), the traffic volume that passes through the path is 842 pcs/hour and after road widening (Type 4/2 UD) the traffic volume for two directions is 973 pcs/hour, with route A equaling 528 pcs/hour and direction B equaling 445 pcs/hour. Based on the analysis of road performance before road enhancement, the capacity = 2551 pcs/hour, saturation degree = 0.331, and the service level of the two-way road are level B. Based on the analysis of the performance of the way after increasing the way, the direction capacity A = 2686 pcs/hour and direction B = 2674 pcs /hour, saturation degree for direction A = 0.196 and direction B = 0.166, service level for road direction A and direction B increase to level A

Abstract

Transportation is an important role in aspects of social economic and cultural activities. Based on the distribution of passenger traffic in and out of the land transportation, the Bus fleet majoring in Palangkaraya-Pangkalan Bun is the most desirable transportation service because travel times are faster and more efficient. The research objective is to determine the magnitude of operational costs for public transportation vehicles Palangka Raya-Pangkalan Bun. The method of collecting passenger data and bus fleet data is a non-random sampling method. Primary data in the form of vehicle operating costs are analyzed by the method of cost per kilometer approach for each vehicle, revenue is analyzed by the method of approaching the average amount of revenue of the company per year and subtracted by total vehicle operating costs per kilometer, rates are analyzed by the method of adding the fixed cost components, costs variable and overhead costs in units per passenger and Fare Box Ratio (FBR) are analyzed using the method of comparing the value of Vehicle Operating Costs per year with annual income. From the results of the study, the amount of Operational Cost needs is spent at 81% of annual income. With a Factor Load calculation of 12 passengers per Trip over the past three years. The fare incurred for ticket purchase per one time departure is Rp 130,000.00 with a Fare Box Ratio (FBR) of 123% so that it can be categorized as a profit

Abstract

Often we encounter several obstacles that cause traffic concentration at several points on a road segment which causes traffic movement to slow down and even stop. Concentration of traffic flow occurs at intersection points, such as one at the Pilau-Keruing intersection, where traffic moving on the Pilau road is forced to slow down when the traffic flow from Keruing road turns right to cut the flow. Therefore, it is very important to know the effect of turning movement on the smooth flow of traffic. Data collection was carried out by sending several surveyors to the field to obtain secondary and primary data. Furthermore, the analysis of road performance using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. The average space speed obtained from the graph of the relationship between DS and vlv is vlv=28 km/hour. The average speed from the results of the speed survey on the road section gives a value of vlv = 29.6 km / h with conditions without any obstacles to the flow of turning from the Keruing road to the Pilau road, and vlv = 25.6 km / h with the presence of turning current obstacles . There was a decrease in average travel time of 5.9 seconds, with a decrease in traffic speed of 4 km/hour due to the influence of vehicles turning from Keruing road to Jati road.

Abstract

Ruas jalan yang dianalisa adalah jalan Diponegoro, RTA. Milono, Imam Bonjol, Yos Soedarso dan G. Obos. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan cara survey lapangan. Data yang diambil adalah data tipe jalan, geometrik jalan, tipe lingkungan, hambatan samping dan jumlah penduduk yang mempengaruhi kapasitas jalan kota, serta data jenis tanaman yang ada di median jalan tersebut. Hasil analisa data menunjukan kecepatan arus bebas pada ruas jalan kota tersebut berkisar 50,41 km/jam sampai dengan 55,43%.km/jam untuk ruas A, dan 48,01 km/jam sampai dengan 54,67 km/jam untuk ruas B, menunjukan kondisi arus lalu lintas masih berjalan dengan lancar. Pelebaran ruas jalan A meningkatkan kapasitas jalan tersebut berkisar 2,8603% sampai dengan 3,9139% untuk pelebaran 0,5 meter, berkisar 5,6145% sampai dengan 7,8278% untuk pelebaran 1,0 meter dan berkisar 8,4746% sampai dengan 31,9542.% untuk pelebaran 1,5 meter. Pelebaran ruas jalan B meningkatkan kapasitas jalan tersebut berkisar 2,7458% sampai 10,8399% untuk pelebaran 0,5 meter, berkisar 5,7296% sampai dengan 14,3666% untuk pelebaran 1,0 meter dan berkisar 8,6486% sampai dengan 40,413% untuk pelebaran 1,5 meter. Pohon yang dominan di tanam pada median jalan adalah pohon tanjung dengan kemampuan menyerap karbon monoksida sebesar Dengan berkurangnya lebar median selebar 0,5m, 1m dan 1,5 m dari masing-masing ruas A dan B, maka maka terjadi pengurangan penyerapan karbon monoksida sebesar 35,94 mg, 71,88 mg dan 107,82 mg untuk setiap panjang 1 meter ruas jalan.

Abstract

Bus transportation existence in Central Kalimantan is very important because it is able to carry out mass transportation, connecting and reaching all areas of Central Kalimantan. This research was conducted to obtain the appropriate amount of vehicle operating costs and passenger fares to be applied under normal conditions and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires, namely vehicle operating costs components data and passenger trips data. Analysis was carried out based on Decree of Transportation Minister No. KM. 89 of 2002. Vehicle operating costs per seat kilometer for the Palangka Raya – Pangkalan Bun route on the Damri Bus are IDR 131.04/seat-km, while the Logos Bus is IDR 170.97/seat-km. Under normal conditions, the Damri Bus fare is IDR 190,453/passenger, while the Logos Bus fare is IDR 134,241/passenger. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Damri Bus fare was IDR 216,707/pnp, while the Logos bus fare was IDR 198,435/pnp.

Abstract

Traffic conditions on road sections always vary and are never the same. This variation can be seen not only in the amount of traffic volume, but also in the variation of traffic speed and density on the road section. The more traffic volume that passes through a road section, the less the speed of the vehicle and the denser the road section. To find out the relationship between these variables, the author tries to analyze the correlation model of traffic volume, speed and density. This research was conducted on the RTA. Milono road for 2 days, namely Monday and Tuesday. Traffic volume data and average vehicle travel time were taken during the morning, afternoon and evening peak hours for 2 hours each, namely 06.00-08.00 am, 11.00-13.00 pm and 16.00-18.00 pm. The number of samples of vehicle travel time was taken as many as 98 pieces for each direction A and B based on the Slovin formula.  Data analysis using Greenshield method, or linear regression, which is a model consisting of 2 variables x and y, where traffic speed as variable y and road density as variable x, test the correlation between the two variables using R2. The correlation model of vehicle speed with density from the data analysis results obtained 6 models, with the highest R2 given by the model Y = 58,72 – 0,67 X with R2 = 0,94 indicating that 94% of the traffic density data is linearly connected with vehicle speed. The model of the relationship between traffic volume and density is Q = 58.72D - 0.67D2 and the model of the relationship between traffic volume and speed is Q = 87.67Vs - 1.493Vs2. The three models show that as the traffic density increases by 1 vehicle/km on road section B will have an impact on decreasing the speed by 0,67 km/h, and as the density increases by D vehicles/km on road section B will have an impact on reducing the traffic volume by 0.67D2 SMP/h and shows as the speed increases by Vs (km/h) on road section B will have an impact on reducing the traffic volume by 1.493Vs2 (SMP/h). Then the increase in traffic volume on the road, will cause a decrease in speed and an increase in the density of vehicles on the road, which causes the level of service of the road to also be lower.

Abstract

Roads are land transportation which is the main supporting factor for the entire community, especially in the economic sector and other social activities. The damage to the C. Bangas road is like road damage in general, namely that there are many holes in the road caused by rainwater which .will flood the road. This research was carried out using 2 (two) methods, namely the Pavemanet Condition Index (PCI) and the Surface Distress Index (SDI) Method. The research was carried out along Jalan C. Bangas, Palangka Raya City, with a road length of 875 meters and divided into 18 segments with 50 meter intervals. The results of the research will be compared between the 2 (two) methods used. From the results of the research conducted, there are differences in the level of road damage in the PCI and SDI methods. The average PCI value for all roads is 17,278. The PCI value indicates that the condition of the road surface is serious, so it is necessary to upgrade/reconstruct the road. The average SDI value for all roads is 51,389. The SDI value indicates the road surface condition is Medium. So it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance. With this it can be concluded that the 2 (two) methods used got different results, namely the PCI method got serious results (severe damage) and the SDI method got moderate results (moderate damage)..

Abstract

Over time the number of vehicles has increased due to improved urban conditions. This affects the emergence of problems in the Palangka Raya urban transportation system, which has an impact on the performance of the road network, especially the performance of signalized intersections. The purpose of this research is to calculate the value of saturation current (S) using the IHCM 1997. In order to analyze the saturation flow and road performance on the Diponegoro - Pilau - Nenas approach, Primary data and Secondary data are required, Primary data includes intersection geometric data and traffic volume in green hours. While secondary data includes location maps and population. In analyzing the comparison of saturated flow refers to the IHCM 1997 and the Time Slice method. The results of the comparison analysis of saturated flow with IHCM 1997 and Time Slice method on each approach A, B, C, and D respectively are 12.64%, 27.52%, 14.94%, and 36.94%. Also obtained the highest DS value using the saturated flow value of IHCM 1997 and Time Slice method is on St. Pilau which is respectively 1.09 included in the level of service F, and 0.93 included in the level of service E, then from the results of this analysis can be known by using the results of the calculation of saturated flow of Time Slice method there is an increase in the value of Level of Service (LOS).
