Abstract

Background: Learning clinical practice in a hospital is one of the learning methods used to provide competent nurse assistance. Students who first underwent clinical learning has a level of preparedness that different from each other. Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence the readiness of School of Health Sciences Panti Rapih students to take part in learning the first practice of clinical nursing. Methods: The research was a quantitative analytic survey research using cross sectional approach. The population in the study were students of Nursing Diploma Study Program in School of Health Sciences Panti Rapih Yogyakarta. The sample in this study were all second semester students of Nursing Diploma Study Program at School of Health Sciences Panti Rapih Yogyakarta, who were still active and fulfilled the requirements to attend nursing clinical practice. The research instruments was prepared and developed by researchers and have been tested for validity and reliability with the results of all valid and reliable measuring tools. Results: The first physical readiness of students in learning clinical nursing practice was moderate readiness with 59 respondents (60.8%). Mental psychological readiness of students in attending the first clinical nursing practice learning that states ready as many as 54 respondents (55.7%). Material readiness of students in attending nursing clinical practice learning the first 97 respondents (100%) said they were ready. There is a correlation between physical preparation with mental-psychological readiness with low correlation with a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.273 and a significance value of p = 0.007. There is aminimum correlation between physical preparation and material readiness with a Correlation Coefficient of 0.137 and a significance value of p = 0.187. There is no correlation between mental psychological preparation with material readiness with a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.142 and a significance value of p = 0.16. There is a correlation between age and mental-psychological readiness with a low correlation level with a Correlation Coefficient of 0.302 and a significance value of p = 0.003. Conclusion: Research data on physical readiness, psychological mental readiness and material readiness show that more than 50% of respondents are ready. The results of the analysis show that the first factor influencing students in learning clinical nursing practice is age with a value of p = 0.003 then physical preparation with a value of p = 0.007. Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan keperawatan, pembelajaran klinik merupakan salah satu upaya untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam proses perubahan menjadi perawat yang profesional. Mahasiswa D3 Keperawatan merupakan perawat vokasi dengan pembelajaran teori 40 % dan pembelajaran klinik 60 %. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa tingkat III Program Studi Diploma Tiga Keperawatan terhadap lingkungan pembelajaran klinik di Rumah Sakit. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif pendekatan survey dengan teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah 84 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan instrumen baku (Clinical Learning Environment, Supervision And Nurse Teacher – Cles+T) yang dialih bahasakan oleh Puji Priyanti & Naharian(2016), uji validitas instrumen mengunakan PCA (Principal Component Analysis)dengan N=46, uji reliabiliti dengan Cronbach alpha, Hasil eigenvalue dan explanation percentage diperoleh 67%, maka dengan demikian instrumen tersebut dinyatakan valid dan reliable. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa mahasiswa Tingkat III Program Studi Diploma Tiga Keperawatan, sebagian besar menyatakan puas terhadap lingkungan pembelajaran klinik sebanyak 81 responden dengan presentase 96.4% dan sebagian kecil tidak puas sebanyak 3 responden dengan presentase 3,6%. Dengan demikian diharapkan institusi mengadakan evaluasi dan perbaikan secara terus menerus sehingga kepuasan pembelajaran klinik tercapai.

Abstract

Background Health services are designed to enable humans to live. In addition to having good facilities and infrastructure, the professionalism of health workers is also important for its success. A nurse is now one of the professions that can save lives because of its holistic role in fulfilling human life. One indicator of the quality of nursing services is patient satisfaction and nurse attention, which is evidence of the quality of nurse services. Patient satisfaction is very dependent on how well nurses treat patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse caring attitudes and patient satisfaction levels at Santo Antonio Baturaja Hospital. This study method uses a descriptive correlational research design and cross-sectional data collection techniques. The sample for this study was 101 respondents using the random sampling method to collect data using a questionnaire on nurses' caring attitudes and patient satisfaction. 62.37%) and argued that nurses have caring behavior (57.42%) with a p-value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05. The conclusion from this study is that there is a relationship between nurse-caring attitudes and patient satisfaction at Santo Antonio Baturaja Hospital. Suggestions from this study are that nurses are expected to maintain the quality of nursing care so that patient satisfaction can be maintained.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diabetes melitus tipe 2 adalah suatu gangguan metabolik yang terjadi akibat hiperglikemia. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi bahkan kematian. Oleh karena itu, sangat krusial bagi individu yang menderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 untuk menerapkan kontrol dan self-management yang efektif. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran self-management diabetes melitus tipe 2 di poli penyakit dalam rumah sakit Santa Elisabeth Bantul. Metode: Metode penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif kuantitatif dengan survei sederhana. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur self-management diabetes adalah kuesioner DSMQ (Diabetes Self-Management Quisionaire). Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 73 pasien diabetes yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa karakteristik responden adalah lansia (72,6%), berjenis kelamin perempuan (56,2%), berpendidikan SMP/SMA (43.8%), tidak merokok (75.3%), indek massa tubuh normal (60.3%), riwayat keluarga dengan diabetes (52,1%), memiliki kemampuan self-management yang cukup (53,4%) dan baik (46,6%), dengan rata-rata sub skala manajemen glukosa (7,20), kontrol diet (5,17), aktivitas fisik (5,63), dan layanan kesehatan (6,30). Simpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki self-management yang cukup. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman dalam mengambil keputusan terkait tindakan keperawatan bagi individu dengan diabetes.
