Abstract

On Board Training (OBT) is the implementation of marine real working practices on commercial or merchant ships by cadets of the Deck and Engineering study program in the 5th and 6th semester. It is to train skills, to improve skills, and also to have real life live on commercial ships directly. Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang organizes OBT which is carried out by cadets in cooperation with domestic and foreign shipping companies. This study will examine the management of the OBT program conducted by Students’ Affairs and Alumni Sub Division of PIP Semarang. The objective of the research is to describe the management program of OBT for fifth and sixth semester cadets of PIP Semarang. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive field research to complete the data and compare with the data that has been found through observation, interview, questionnaires, and documentation, while the analysis of research data, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that the program management of OBT includes; (a) the planning phase of the OBT program includes; make a program activity plan, record the number of cadets who will practice, complete the requirements of pre-practice documents, (b) the implementation stage of the OBT program includes; practice by cooperating with domestic and foreign shipping companies, (c) the evaluation phase of the OBT program includes; monitoring the implementation of practices; cadets provide reports to the Students’ Affairs and Alumni Sub Division, cadets complete the requirements of post-practice documents, check Cadet Record Books (CRB) and Practice Work Papers, provide a certificate of completion, and collect post-OBT documents. The conclusion is the program management conduct planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program in line with the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) of Students’ Affairs and Alumni Sub Division of PIP Semarang.

Abstract

Modification of the current Education management in learning activities has increased so rapidly. The integration of information technology into learning procedures has become a necessity that must be tried in order to accommodate curriculum requirements and the spirit of changing times. Learning activities are no longer limited to the context of space and time that take place in conventional learning management, but in this 4.0 revolution period, virtual or online activities are becoming a trend. Teacher training is no exception, which today is a demand for teacher professional development in terms of mastering technology. Especially during the pandemic, it is almost so difficult for teachers to develop themselves by participating in several trainings without technological skills. The public junior high school teachers in North Konawe are proof that technology is being used and utilized. The results of descriptive analysis show that there is a difference in the average pretest and posttest of the training participants with a pretest value of 66.43 with a standard deviation of 5.37 and a posttest value of 81.22 with a standard deviation of 6.00, then correlation analysis with the paired sample t test shows a correlation value. its value is 0.715 with sig = 0.00 < = 0.05 which means that the results of the pretest and posttest before being used and after being used by the management have a positive and significant correlation.

Abstract

This study analyzes the results of Camtasia-Based Swimming Learning Media Development for Class xi students at SMK 17 Parakan Temanggung. Products are packaged in videos, and products can be used independently using Android online by students. This learning media was developed using the Research and Development method of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Applications were assessed by one material expert, one media expert, and two teachers. They administered a questionnaire to 6 students (2 high-ability students, two medium-ability students, and two low- ability students). The validity of the media expert showed that at 3.77, it could be classified as "good," 4.2 for the validation of the material expert in the "good" category, and 4.17 for the teacher's response with the "good" category and 37% for the student's response. The product can be run independently online which can be downloaded on youtube. In conclusion, the Camtasia-based swimming learning video media is feasible for student learning at the SMK level and can be implemented in large-scale trials.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic changed the education system in Indonesia from Early Childhood to Higher Education through the application of distance learning (DL). It has an impact on the intensity of Early Childhood Education, particularly, to recognize and access technology and interactive media. Young children need to be educated to surf the internet healthily and protect themselves. Cyber wellness refers to the health/well-being of internet users and involves an understanding of online behavior and awareness of how to protect themselves in cyberspace. This study aims to describe the use of technology and interactive media that supports cyber wellness education for kindergarten. The method used in this research was qualitative through interviews and documentation. The results of this study were to create proactive cultures with technology and interactive media in schools to help students become digital learners by 1) paying attention to safety, cultural suitability, needs, interests, and children development, 2) learning to use technology in kindergarten is active, direct, engaging, and empowering children; 3) controlling over children when accessing technology, 4) using technology in class when discussing themes/materials, and when completing assignments or projects given by the teacher, and 5) communicating how to use the internet safely for children with parents.

Abstract

Some of the functions of education policy research in general are: 1) providing services in the form of facts (evidence), input that is affirmative verification as a refinement for all stages in the policy research process, 2) providing criticism in the form of perspectives, falsifying alternatives or constructive criticism of improving the quality of education policy through policy formulation, 3) facilitating policy makers in formulating policy designs, by providing arguments or information they need in solving fundamental educational problems. This study aims to see descriptively and analyze the response of private universities' academic policies to the development of the era of disruption that has hit all lines of people's lives, including universities. This response is absolutely necessary to show the readiness and existence of private universities in their role as agents that contribute to the intellectual life of the nation and prepare human resources who are strong and can adapt in this era that is changing soo fast. This research uses a single case study research design. This study found that private Islamic religious universities have shown certain responses to the development of the era of disruption in the form of completely new academic policies from previous policies, which is very visible as a response to the demands of the digital era and the industrial era 4.0. The responses include academic policies in the fields of education, research, and community service, which can be seen in detail in the review of this research report.

Abstract

Objective from study This is analyze application system management safety and health Work radiation on installation radiology at the district hospital Banyumas . Type research used _ in study This is study method mix . Data validation is carried out with use technique triangulation , that is triangulation sources and data. Triangulation source done with method check the data obtained through a number of source . Based on results and discussion can concluded that power in work units district hospital radiology Banyumas has 2 (two) Specialists Radiology , 1 ( one ) officer Protection Radiation and 5 (five) Radiographers Diploma three . In accordance with Regulation Head of the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency Number 8 of 2011. There are 5 variables tested in application System Management Occupational Safety and Health Radiation On Installation Radiology . From fifth variable Licensing , management requirements , requirements security , requirements technical and testing security of the 14 processed components (50 points ) 25 points (50.34%) were fulfilled standards / regulations . A total of 11 points (22.45%) were met , however No in accordance with standard . Limitations Focus study This only on one House sick , so the analysis limited . Moment researching more further , preferably use more from one item for can compare result .

Abstract

Innovation education in something agency own a very vital role that deserves given attention more for maximizing potential student become an achievement. So far, innovation education much concerned with matters of pedagogy, technology, or rules in the organization. Purpose of this article to see educational innovation from the perspective of co-produced services and joint interactions in order to improve student achievement. Service innovation solution important in seeing the other side of innovation, which can influence the formation of student character and achievement culture. This research used a case study qualitative approach at SD Hj Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang. The results showed that the service innovations provided included teaching and achievement development patterns, student interactions, teacher-to-teacher relationships, parental interactions, after-school (extracurricular) activities, school appreciation, co-production with the education office and related companies. Service innovations produced with multi-agents have been able to improve the achievements to international level in the last 3 years. Managerial and policy implications in achieving student achievement can be guided by using the principle of service-friendly innovation.
