This article summarizes the results of ethographic research on Religious Shows as Cultural Production Field: Studies on religious show of Mamah and AA in Action. The purpose of this article is to explore how Mamah Dedeh as one of the actors in the cultural production process through religious shows plays her role from daily life that is related closely to religious criteria which her habitus is formed through the missionary on the social stage. Stage of da’wah which is purely colored by religious criteria as a “blackbox” that directs her preaching in moslem comunity. But then, after she entered da’wah system in the media stage, which contained market criteria that must be followed. How she mixes and embeds da'wah systems in the social world with da'wah in commercial media, it is a subject that interesting to discuss in this article.

Bullying among students, especially high school students are still common. Acts of violence in schools involve both senior and junior. The seniors’ role of displaying seniority is to teach the juniors manners and discipline. But there are many seniors who abuse the terms of seniority by acting arbitrarily to their juniors. This article will explain how bullying can be considered as a field of power contestation. This study uses several techniques of ethnographic methods, namely, direct observation, interview, and literature. Researchers used indirect observation because informants are reluctant to commit acts of violence when there are other people outside their group. Based on the results of the research, capital are at stake for the actors to reach the prize, such as honor, fame, and material. Bullying behavior that occurs in SMA E Jakarta continues because of an understanding that they have to continue what has been instilled by their seniors before, such as the rules for class X are always imposed from year to the next one.

A Woman’s Decision To Forgive Partner’s Infidelity: Infidelity is a form of violence against a partner that has negative impact on physical and psychological health. For those who are loyal with only one partner, type of sexual or emotional infidelity has a strong effect on the relationship. Analysis from previous studies show that infidelity often reported as the cause of breakup. However, the author argue that it is not certain that infidelity end up with breakup, beause apart from internal factors, social cultural factors also need to be considered as the reason for decision making. The writing of this article aims to analyze women’s consideration in making decision to forgive and still stay with unfaithful partner. Methods and data analysis using previous literature studies regarding women’s decision making to forgive their partenr’s infidelity. Then it will be analyzed using concept of Gender Anthropology. The result show that culture is more tolerant or men who are not loyal than woman. In addition, woman have moral and material dependence on their partners. So, it can be concluded that the consideration of women to forgive and stay is due to domination and power relation.

THIS- article is meant to provoke how the discourse of multiculturalism as a cultural conception can be realized in journalism practice on TV stations. This idea is important to conclude how multiculturalism can be represented in newscast products in which produced by media actors. Through the concept of field (Bourdieu 1993, 2005), which explains how this ideas can be practiced into some models of multicultural journalism that can create some cultural products in the form of multicultural news on TV stations. The method used is certainly the ethnography to reveal how the practice of multicultural journalism among media people at TV stations is already on the certain level, by conducting interviews and close observation on every movement of news actors especially for religious, cultural, and political issues.

The existence of Sekaten tradition in The Yogyakarta Palace is one form of Javanese cultural heritage that is still preserved by the community until this day. According to the history, the emergence of Sekaten Tradition was not only to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, but also an initiation by Wali Sanga as an effort to spread the religion of Islam. The phenomenon of religious and cultural relations can be seen directly in the Sekaten Tradition held in Yogyakarta and its relation to the Kauman Yogyakarta Community. In fact, Sekaten with mystical traditional colors still exist in Kauman Village, where the majority of their people are identical with Islam and Muhammadiyah. They were accepted Sekaten's presence, even participated in those celebration. So that, the Sekaten tradition which always smells things that are forbidden by Islam, can continue to run well in every year.

The increase in the number of elderly people living who lived in nursing homes reflects that many elderly people are neglected and not taken care of by their families so that they run into problems with themselves as a result of feelings of lonely, loneliness and excile from their families affected their happiness degradation. The inability of the elderly to take care of and be responsible for themselves has encouraged Yayasan Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kota Semarang to address this problem. The solution of this problem is by established the Panti Wredha Harapan Ibu. . Based on research results, proved that most of the elderly feel happy living in a nursing home and interpret the concept of happiness with the feeling of joy that shown when they running their daily activities. The existence of these various services also makes the elderly at the Panti Wredha Harapan Ibu feel happy because all their life needs are fulfilled and guaranteed, they have many friends, and also do not have to think about living expenses, such as paying rent and paying for other necessities.

The issue of social stigma for PLWHA (People with HIV/AIDS) is still being a serious problem. On the other hand, it contributes to HIV/AIDS cases that have not been detected and have not been gotten special treatment yet. Social stigma, discrimination, exclusion in social life are still being a creepy consequence, especially for women living with HIV Aids. The pressure of social stigma is very influential on the perception of women living with HIV Aids, both married and unmarried to the diseases suffered. This study would like to analyze the perceptions of women living with HIV who face the social stigma that affects health behavior.The method of the study is a qualitative method with the life history approach. The techniques of collecting data are an in-depth interview, participant observation, and literature study. The informants of the study are two women living with HIV Aids already married and unmarried that assisted by Rumah Aira Semarang. The result of the study shows that PLWHA have negative perceptions related to social stigma however they try to resist the stigma so that affecting knowledge and health behavior.

The popularity of Korean Pop culture can be used as a reference for adolescents to become a spear of maturity which ends in the formation of a subculture. We will discuss about how young people who gradually follow the development of iKON, a boygroup. They are willing to set aside most of the money they get, in order to fulfill their desire for satisfaction for iKON. iKON is a famous South Korean boy group that is currently very admired. This group has even won many awards and managed to become one of the closing guest stars of the well-known sports festival named ASIAN GAMES 2018 with their song Rhythm Ta and Love Scenario. With this phenomenon, more and more teenagers have decided to become iKONIC, an iKON fan community.This ethnographic and qualitative research will address the symbolic theory of interpretivism by Clifford Geertz which explains that culture is a system of regularity of meanings and symbols. With this meaning, each individual will communicate, establish, and develop knowledge about life as well as addressing life. Like teenagers who are members of the iKONIC community, they learn, receive and share the symbols from iKON. iKONIC will make iKON as a reference in doing everything in their lives. iKONIC is willing to buy many items related to iKON such as albums, merchandise, streaming passes, and even concert tickets that are very expensive. The more they are fond of the presence of iKON, the more they cling to the principles instilled by iKON. Their daily habits in imitating, accessing information continuously, result in their own dependence on them. The occurrence of many processes such as social contact, cultural understanding, the cognition system which became a symbol system, then shared, this is the reason existence of habits that continue to occur to become a culture for the iKONIC. So that a subculture is formed in the midst of a culture that has become widespread and entrenched.

The fanaticism of football supporters among PSIS Semarang supporters, namely Panser Biru and Snex, is seen as a form of solidarity that exists between consentient individuals who are united based on the similarity of their love for the PSIS Semarang team. This paper aims to describe the forms of fanaticism PSIS supporters, forms and patterns of symbolic expression of PSIS supporters and the relationship between fanaticism and symbolic expressions created by PSIS Semarang supporters. This study uses ethnographic methods with data collection techniques such as participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and literature study. This study uses the consumer culture theory by Celia Lury. The approach used to study this research is symbolic interactionism by Agus Maladi Irianto. Based on research findings, the fanaticism form of PSIS supporters is the use of attributes by Panser Biru and Snex supporters, unlimited loyalty in supporting PSIS, love, and totality in supporting PSIS, introducing and educating children about PSIS from an early age. The forms and patterns of the symbolic expression of the Panser Biru and Snex supporters include the choreography, mural, banners, criticism, and also the fan chants of the Panser Biru and Snex for PSIS Semarang. Fanaticism appears to symbolic expressions and all forms of symbolic expression are related to their fanaticism (Panser Biru and Snex). The meaning of the supporters of what they have done is what expresses the fanaticism of the individual PSIS supporters. The form of relationship between fanaticism and symbolic expression is the choreography and chants displayed while in the stadium means showing their fanaticism towards PSIS in the form of love and totality so that during support Through choreography and chants carried out with sincerity and maximums to positively impact the result of the match because of the influence of supporters’ support that keeps the spirit of the player when competing very large.

The viewpoint of prostitution as something dishonor oftenly makes the world close their eyes to its presence. The motivation of man behind prostitution which always considered close with limitation of economic factor is seen underestimate either. This study aims to stop the world stick to its assumption by presenting their cognition as the result of concentrating on their voices as the actors. The scope of this study are the patterns of online prostitution in OnlyFans and the power of tactics that OnlyFans creators do to create the account or to provide 'business of imagination' (online pleasing) in Indonesia. This study was conducted by using observation, netnography, and in-depth interviews as the methods for more than three months to provide new insight to the anthropology of gender and sexuality study, as the new socio-culture phenomenon that takes place in media. The results obtained were then dissected with analysis of Foucault's thinking to the form of power relations, freedom in sexual expression, and the process of subjectification of objects as a theory that is in line with the phenomenon of online prostitution in OnlyFans. There are several patterns in undergoing OnlyFans prostitution which are fully manifested in the expression of the sexual imagination-business model in the form of photosets, rate dick pics, photobooks, content requests, personal messages, video call sex, sexting, polaroid photos, and tarot reading. While the tactics of OnlyFans’s creators do in dealing with the media blockade divided into media selection, promotion, and execution.
