Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out about the availability of learning media, including 1) Type, 2) Amount, and 3) Conditions. The research carried out is descriptive research with research data is quantitative data. The study was conducted in 23 high schools in Karanganyar Regency. The population in this study were all high school geography teachers and high school students of class X, XI Social Program and XII Social Program in Karanganyar Regency, which consisted of 17 state high schools and 6 private high schools. The high school which was used as the research subject was determined by proportional random sampling technique to obtain 13 high schools. Futhermore, the samples of teachers and students was determined by purposive sampling, where in each school took 1 teacher respondent and 6 students, so the total sample of teachers was 13 people and students were 78 people. The technique of collecting data in the study uses questionnaire, interview and observation methods. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. In summary, from this research found the data condition of geography learning media of high school in Karanganyar Regency in 2016 were obtained, including; 1) The most types of media are Atlas, Pictures, Globe, Maps, Slide Powerpoint, and Computer / Laptop devices, 2) The number of media is classified as medium or available in every media in the school, and 3) The condition of the media is classified as poorly maintained for physical media and is very well maintained for media based on Digital Information Technology.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berisi tentang ulasan pentingnya didalam pemilihan media pembelajaran geografi sebagai salah satukomponen pembelajaran yang dapat menentukan keberhasilan sebuah aktivitas pembelajaran. Hal ini didasarkan kepada kondisi riil dilapangan yang dihadapi pembelajar geografi yang masih sedikit dalam penggadaan dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran geografi. Padahal apabila kita menilik dari kajian geografi yang mencakup gejala-gejala di permukaan bumi, baik yang bersifat fisik maupun yang menyangkut kehidupan makhluk hidup beserta permasalahannya melalui pendekatan keruangan, lingkungan, dan regional untuk kepentingan program, proses, dan keberhasilan pembangunan sehingga tidak ada alasan untuk kesulitan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran di dalam setiap penyampaiaan materi. Fungsi dari media pembelajaran secara garis besar adalah sebagai sumber belajar yakni sebagai penyalur, penyampai, dan penghubung.Media pembelajaran dapat membantu menggantikan fungsi guru.Beberapa hal yang dibahas dalam tulisan ini meliputi cara memilih, kriteria pemilihan, dan prinsip pemilihan media pembalajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tentang 1) ketersediaan yang meliputi a) jenis, b) jumlah, dan c) kondisi, 2) pemanfaatan media pembelajaranPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian merupakan data kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru geografi SMA dan siswa SMA kelas X, XI IPS dan XII IPS di Kabupaten Karanganyar.yang meliputi 23 SMA, terdiri dari 17 SMA negeri dan 6 swasta. SMA yang dijadikan subyek penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik proportional random sampling sehingga diperoleh 13 SMA. Jumlah sampel guru dan siswa ditentukan secara purposive sampling, dalam hal ini jumlah guru masing-masing sekolah 1 orang dan siswanya sebanyak 6 orang, sehingga jumlah keseluruhan sampel guru sebanyak 13 orang dan siswa sebanyak 78 orang. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian menggunakan metode angket, wawancara dan observasi.Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Capaian penelitian ini diantara : 1) Ketersediaan media meliputi; a) Jenis Media paling banyak adalah atlas, gambar, globe,peta , slide powerpoint, dan seperangkat komputer.b) jumlah media tergolong sedang. c) kondisi media tergolong baik. 2) Pemanfaatan media dilihat dari variasi media tergolong sedang, yaitu 65,25% faktor pendorong memilih media tergolong tinggi, 55%, tanggapan siswa tergolong tinggi, yaitu 63,65 % dan kesempatan siswa tergolong sedang 78%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Materi Mitigasi Bencana perlu diberikan kepada mahasiswa calon-calon guru, sehingga para mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman arti pentingnya Mitigasi bencana karena Indonesia masuk dalam Cincin Api Pasifik atau yang sering kita dengar dengan sebutan Ring of fire. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisispemahaman konsep mitigasi bencana peserta didik mahasiswa sebelum maupun sesudah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Audio Visual Video dan memperkenalkan penggunaan media pembelajaran Audio Visual Video kepada mahasiswa tingkat awal.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 1 & 3pendidikan Geografi pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan pesertal sebanyak 24 mahasiswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan test, lembar kerja siswa dan angket.Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik uji normalitas, homogenitas dan uji T dengan bantuan SPSS statistic 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pemahaman konsep mitigasi bencana pada mahasiswadengan menggunakan Audio Visual Video sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, 2) Tanggapan peserta didik terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan video sangat baik

Abstract

Tulisan ini berisi tentang generasi millenial yang tengah tumbuh menjadi dewasa pada tahun 2018 yang memilikikarakteritik berbeda dari generasi lainnya. Seorang pendidik maupun dosen yang mengajar di perguruan tinggi harus mengetahui karakter dan kebiasaan yang melekat pada generasi ini yang saat ini menjadi mahasiswa. Generasi milienal adalah suatu kelompok demografi setelah Generasi X yang lahir pada awal 1980-an dan pertengahan tahun 1990-an dan berakhir pada tahun 2000-an. Milenial kadang-kadang disebut sebagai "Echo Boomers" karena adanya 'booming' (peningkatan besar) tingkat kelahiran di tahun 1980-an dan 1990-an. Generasi ini memiliki karakter; (1) User Generated Content (UGC)lebih dipercaya oleh kaum millennials ketimbang informasi satu arah, (2)Memiliki akun sosial media sebagai alat komunikasi dan pusat informasi; (3) Minat membaca secara konvensional kini sudah menurun karena lebih memilih membaca lewat smartphone;dan (4) Memilih ponsel daripada televisi, sebab menonton acara televisi bukan lagi menjadi sebagai hiburan karena apapun bisa mereka temukan di smartphone.Dalam menghadapi generasi ini, kita di tuntut untuk mampu dalam penguasaan ilmu dan teknologi yang senantiasa mengikuti kemajuan zaman.Kurikulum pembelajaran juga diselaraskan dengan permintaan dunia kerja yang menuntut kemampuan psikomotor dan tidak lagi mendasarkan pada aspek kognitif.

Supervisor : Muh Husyain Rifai,S.Pd,M.Pd. and Ary Wijayanti, S.Pd, M.Pd. Essay. Geography Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Veterans Bangun Nusantara, Sukoharjo. 2021. This study aims to determine: (1) the distribution and affordability of the BTS tower signal (2) The impact of the existence of the BTS tower on the education of students at SMKN 1 Jatiroto (3) The impact of the existence of the BTS tower on the economic changes of the community around the BTS tower. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This study describes/describes and finds out the impact of the existence of BTS towers on the education of students of SMKN 1 Jatiroto and the economic changes of the surrounding community. Data collection techniques used are through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that: (1) The distribution and coverage of the BTS Tower Tower signal in Jatiroto District is spread over three areas and there are five BTS Tower Towers. Each BTS Tower can reach a signal as far as 5km and this is also influenced by the topography of the surrounding area (2) The impact of the existence of a BTS tower on the education of students at SMKN 1 Jatiroto has a positive impact in the form of making it easier for students to access the internet, making it easier for students to learn. The negative impact is radiation from the BTS tower signal and anxiety about the collapse of the BTS tower. (3) The impact of the existence of the BTS Tower on the economic changes of the surrounding community is that it can increase economic income, such as increasing income for people who sell credit and make it easier to access the internet. The negative impact is the increasing number of people's needs to buy credit which results in an increase in public spending, radiation from BTS tower signals.

Abstract

This study aimed to discover: (1) The effectiveness of online learning to student learning activities of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo during the COVID-19 disaster response period of 2020. (2) The readiness form of FKIP & The Univet Institution in online learning utilization during the COVID-19 disaster response period of 2020. The method in the study was qualitative descriptive and the sampling technique used was Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The data collection technique used was using observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis. Based on the study, it can be concluded that: (1) The online learning utilization to student learning activities in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education has been effective, but it still needs improvement or refinement in several aspects. (2) The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education's lecturers using online learning during the COVID-19 disaster response period were mostly ready, but need gradual training to be professional lecturers. (3) The presence of multimedia components and sufficient e-learning procurement by the institution of Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo for online learning during the COVID-19 disaster response period.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Grogol Sub-District of Sukoharjo Regency. This research aims to: (1) find out the land use in Grogol Sub-District in 2001 and 2018 (2) to find out the changes in land use in Grogol Sub-District in 2001 - 2018. The methods used in this study are: (1) using the land use map in 2001 obtained from the Indonesian Earth View Map (RBI), while the land use map in 2018 was obtained from digitization of Quickbird satellite imagery published from Maxar Technologies by regulating the year of publication on September 05, 2018. (2) overlay method isused todetermine land use changes in 2001-2018. The results obtained in this study are the land use of Grogol Sub-District in 2001 covering an area of 3,116 hectares which includes 1,718 hectares of rice fields, 1,242 hectares of residential land, and 156 hectares of vacant land. Meanwhile, land use in Grogol Sub-District in 2018 was 3,116 hectares which includes 1,230 hectares of rice fields, 1,816 hectares of residential land, and 70 hectares of vacant land. The change in land use of Grogol Sub-District in 2001 - 2018 amounted to 1,186 hectares and the area of land that was not changed by 1,930 hectares. Grogol sub-district in 2001 and 2018 the pattern of land use change is elongated following the road, elongated following the river, and radial (thorough).

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to: (1) determine the number of buildings in Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency; (2) anlaysis the building density in Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. This study uses remote sensing with the Visual Quickbird interpretation method obtained from Google Earth Pro, namely using interpretive elements such as hue / color, shape, texture, and location / association. Visual interpretation is used to determine the number of buildings and building density. The data collection techniques used were image interpretation and field surveys. The data analysis technique used is geographic descriptive, which describes the spatial data analysis. The results of this study were Cemani Village is the village with the highest density of buildings 96.85%, while Parangjoro is the village with the lowest density of buildings with 28.41%.

Abstract

Research on the carrying capacity of agricultural land for food is very important to do to determine the extent of the ability of the land to support the fulfillment of food needs of the population in an area. One of the problems in Grogol Subdistrict, Sukoharjo Regency is the tendency of land conversion that does not pay attention to production land for agriculture in order to meet the food needs of the population. This research includes 1 district which consists of 14 villages. The data used is secondary data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Agriculture Office of Sukoharjo Regency. The method used to determine the level of carrying capacity of agricultural land for food crops with the combined concept of the theory of Odum, Cristeiler, E Howard and Issard. The results showed that overall based on data in 2018 the carrying capacity of agricultural land for food in Grogol District was still low. This shows that the Grogol District area has not been able to be self-sufficient in food and has not been able to provide a decent life for its residents. Therefore, it is necessary to make certain efforts to increase the carrying capacity of food agriculture land in this area, for example by involving the population and utilizing the remaining vacant land.
