Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan pupuk organik yang tepat dalam meningkatkan produksi padi Gogo di lahan sub optimal kering. Selain itu untuk mendapatkan waktu aplikasi ekstrak rebung bambu yang tepat pada tanaman padi Gogo. Diharapkan dapat memperluas pengelolaan lahan kering dalam meningkatkan produksi padi Gogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan pengelompokkan berdasarkan aliran air. Adapun waktu aplikasi perlakuan yaitu: tanpa ekstrak rebung bambu, 14 hari Setelah Tanam, dan 28 hari Setelah Tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan berbagai waktu aplikasi ekstrak rebung bambu berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi Gogo. Aplikasi pada 28 HST memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, panjang malai, jumlah bulir per malai, jumlah anakan produktik, umur berbunga, berat basah dan berat kering tanaman padi gogo.

Abstract

This study aims to study the growth response and yield of upland rice at various concentrations of epiphytic bacterial isolates. The study was arranged using a randomized block design (RCBD), with treatment concentrations of epiphytic bacterial isolates, which consisted of four concentrations. Namely without epiphytic isolates (control), epiphytic bacterial isolates 45 ml/l of water, epiphytic bacterial isolates 50 ml/l of water, and epiphytic bacterial isolates of 55 ml/l of water. The results showed that the treatment of various concentrations of epiphytic bacterial isolates significantly affected the growth and yield of upland rice. Treatment concentration of 55 ml/l of water gives the best effect which is higher than other treatments on plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, number of productive tillers, panicle length, number of grains, wet and dry weight and yield of upland rice.

Abstract

This research aims to study and know the factors the production of red onion plant, has been implemented in Bulupountu Jaya, Sigi Biromaru, Sigi, Central Sulawesi. The results of this research is expected to be an information for the farmer about the factors that affect the production of red onion plant. The research was conducted from June to August 2016 in Bulupountu Jaya , Sigi Biromaru , Sigi , Central Sulawesi. Selection of the location of this research is based on that Bulupountu Jaya Village is the majority of red onion farmer. The method used is quantitative research method by survey and interviews to farmers red onion farming in Bulupountu.Location determination by purposive sampling and respondents by Multistage Random Sampling, through the stages : a.Specify the hamlet representing Bulupountu area, Specify farmer groups in each hamlet, c. Specify five respondents in each farmer groups, so there are 20 respondents. The results of this research indicate that the factors of land area, the amount of fertilizer, the number of seeds, the use of pesticides and pest control affect production in the development of onion farming in Bulupountu Jaya Village, Sigi Biromaru Subdistrict Sigi Regency Central Sulawesi Province

Abstract

Exploration carried out in the filosphere area (leaves) and rhizosphere area (roots) in upland rice plants to get the type of microbes that have potential that can be utilized as biological fertilizer sources, such as N2 fastening microbes, plant growth microbes or phosphate solvent microbial as well as those acting as natural enemies. The research was conducted by location survey method. Determination of location is done by purposive sampling, which is the location of upland rice cultivated by farmers in Kulawi District. The results showed that 10 isolates were isolated from epiphytic and endophytic microbes and endophytes. Morphological tests showed differences in color, shape, elevation, edge, texture and size and the coloring test showed that the bacteria had Coccus cell forms, Bacill, Diplococcus and Semi-Bacillus.

Abstract

This study aims to study the growth response and yield of gogo rice at various doses of household waste organic fertilizer. This study uses a randomized block design (RAK) of one factor. Grouping based on sunlight. The treatment that was tried was various doses of household organic liquid fertilizer (POC), namely, POC0 = without POC, POC1 = 200 ml / plant, POC2 = 250 ml / plant, POC3 = 300 ml / plant. The results showed that the treatment of various doses of liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the growth and yield of gogodan rice and the treatment dose of 300 ml / plant had a higher effect compared to other treatments on the growth and yield of gogo rice plants.

Abstract

Spodoptera frugiperda is a new pest in Central Sulawesi attacks maize crops. It was reported in 2019, known in Sigi, Donggala, Touna, Bangga, Tolitoli, Buol, and Palu City Regencies. Also, this pest is spreading rapidly by threatening maize production in Central Sulawesi. This study aims to measure the population and intensity of Spodoptera frugiperda attacks on maizes in Tulo Village, Dolo Sub-district, Sigi Regency. The study, conducted from January to March 2020, used a survey method and selected sampling. Our location takes each plot measuring 2x2 m. Population observations were carried out by collecting larvae found in the sample plants. The attack's intensity was carried out by counting the number of leaves showing symptoms of an attack on the top leaves. Calculation of the proportion of attacks was carried out by the Davis method. The results showed that the highest S. frugiperda population at the age of 14 days after planting. The intensity of S. frugiperda attack on maize was relatively high at the age of 42 days after planting, with an average attack of 65.24%. Climatic data during this period, an average of 28.76-29.43 ℃ with air influence was 71.1-72%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence farmers' decisions in using hybrid maize seeds. This research was conducted from July to August 2019 in Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted using a survey method. The determination of the research location was carried out by means of purposive sampling. based on this area the majority of the population is corn farmers. Respondents were determined using the Multistage Random Sampling method, through the following stages, determining the location, determining the farmer groups in each sample village, determining five respondents from each village, in order to obtain a total sample of 20 farmers. The results showed that the factors of age, education, land area, capital, length of farming, extension and access to production facilities together or partially did not have a significant effect on farmers' decisions to use hybrid maize seeds in Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari hingga April 2020 di Lahan Petani yang bertempat di Desa Tulo Kecamatan Dolo Kabupaten Sigi Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor. Pengelompokan berdasarkan aliran air. Adapun perlakuan yang dicobakan yaitu berbagai waktu aplikasi pupuk oragnik cair sebagai berikut: W0: Kontrol. =W1: 1 Minggu Setelah Tanam, W: 2 Minggu Setelah Tanam dan W3: 3 Minggu Setelah Tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan Perlakuan berbagai dosis pupuk organik cair berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis dan Perlakuan waktu aplikasi 2 Minggu Setelah Tanam memberikan pengaruh yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya.
