Abstract

Balancing economic, social and environmental impacts in tourism management is a problem faced by the Gayo Highlands region. This research aims to reveal the development of green tourism in the Gayo Highlands using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) learning model. The results showed that the development of green tourism in the Gayo Highlands could be done through 1) Environmental conservation, 2) Waste management and cleaning, 3) Renewable energy, 4) Use of sustainable transport, 5) Environmental education, and 6) Water and energy management for the environment responsibility component. For the experiential richness component, green tourism development can be done by 1) Knowledgeable tour guides, 2) Educational information, 3) Interactive experience, 4) Service quality, 5) Nature experience, and 6) Assessment of tourist satisfaction. For the cultural diversity component, green tourism development can be done through: 1) Promotion of cultural heritage, 2) Cultural tourism, 3) Cultural involvement in the local economy, 4) Respect for culture, 5) Counselling and education of tourists, and 6) Maintaining language heritage. As for the economic vitality component, green tourism development can be done through 1) Development of small and micro enterprises, 2) Providing training and education to residents, 3) Partnerships with local communities, 4) Local purchasing, 5) Local community involvement in planning, 6) Measuring social impacts. Through an approach that considers Maqashid Sharia, green tourism can be an effective means to achieve the goals of environmental protection, social welfare, and economic sustainability.

Abstract

This paper is a response to the limitations of previous studies regarding teamwork and its relationship with effectiveness in the workplace, communication in teamwork, and the role of leadership in teamwork. This paper will find local wisdom narratives regarding teamwork principles so that they can guide actions when working in teams. The research method used was qualitative with an ethnographic approach, conducting interviews with 12 people using a purposive sampling technique, who were selected based on expertise such as cultural figures, Gayo traditional councils, academics, community and religious leaders, education practitioners, and managers. Ethnographic data analysis emphasizes understanding the cultural context so that it can be seen how everything is interconnected and meaningful. Data were analyzed through three stages, namely data restatement, data description, and data interpretation, and ended with a conclusion. The results of the research show that the principles of teamwork are based on local Gayo wisdom, namely the importance of having a vision, being well organized, making decisions through consensus, ethics, mutual welfare, altruism, common goals, coherence, values, meaningful, proportional, job assignment and specialization, monism or non-overlapping, integrity, consolidation, synergy, esprit de corps, solidarity, cohesion, loyalty, effective leadership, interdependence, interconnectedness, mutual trust, mutual development, collaboration, mutual benefit, normative, optimistic, firm, empathetic, harmonious, full of affection, mutual respect.

Abstract

Meeting the needs of life is something that must be done. To meet these needs is constrained because keterbatas money as a tool applicable in the transaction, for which one needs the help of others for the fulfillment of the terms muamalah called the debt. Debt is an obligation for someone to pay if the debt maturity has been up, even the debt shall be the duty of someone since he was alive until he dies. We often hear when the bodies would be buried, who often say is the debt that will be transferred to the heirs of the new corpses to be buried. Seeing this context debt is an important role for someone to pay it off.

Abstract

The development of sustainable tourism requires effective cross-sector collaboration through a pentahelix approach that engages government, academia, business, community, and media stakeholders. However, the low literacy of pentahelix actors, meaning their understanding of sustainable tourism concepts and practices, often hinders the realization of sustainable tourism, especially in areas with natural and cultural tourism potential, such as Central Aceh Regency. This community service activity aims to strengthen the literacy of Pentahelix actors in sustainable tourism development through a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach. The implementation methods include mapping initial literacy conditions, participatory identification of needs, designing a collaborative literacy program, implementing training and discussions, and evaluating and formulating sustainability recommendations. The outputs of the activity include increased literacy among pentahelix actors, as reflected in changes in their level of understanding (pre-post), increased participation and collaborative commitment, the development of contextual literacy programs, and recommendations for the sustainable development of regional tourism. The impact of the activity demonstrates strengthened capacity among pentahelix actors, the formation of a cross-sector dialogue space, and increased awareness of the importance of integrating sustainability principles into tourism practices and policies. This activity confirms that strengthening participation-based literacy is a strategic foundation in promoting pentahelix collaboration and sustainable tourism development in Central Aceh Regency.
